  1. Not enough fluro clothing and not enough bleach in your spiked hair lol... I hate the bay with a passion.
  2. City discount tyres at Morphette Vale. Lol.
  3. Ended up heading to the HQ Sunday Sessions night last night at HQ. Was real strange heading there on a Sunday night haha. Damage had a set there, so I was pretty amped for it. Got in, apparently me and my mates were the first people to step in on a Sunday night... I was waiting for balloons and shit to fall from the roof haha but instead we got Industry cards... entitles us to $5 base spirits and free entry all night with no expiry date. Pretty awesome. Basically they open up the newmarket, Soho and upstairs beer garden. They also had a heap of couches upstairs outside and table service, which was pretty cool. The music was real funky house stuff... but really suited the atmosphere/night. Give it a few weeks and it'll really catch on! hopefully it'll draw the crowds away from the bay on a Sunday night!
  4. Thank GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
  5. That's the problem with Adelaide... we have plenty of venue's, but they're all too scared to play something different, so they stick with what they know is successful - either commercial, RnB, electro or both. I mean, here's a quick list off the top of my head: Marble Bar - Electro Garage - Electro Swish - House/Electro EC's - Electro Duke - Electro Mojo's - Electro HQ - Mostly electro (unless it's a Friday night) 58's - Electro (until 4am on Saturday night) Swish - Commercial trash Red's - Electro/RnB Isobar - RnB Star Bar - RnB Crib - RnB Dog n Duck - Electro Earth - Trance/Prog P J O'Briens - Commercial trash Stag - Commercial trash/bit of electro Austral - Commercial trash/bit of electro The only venue's that play alternative/'unknown with the cool kids' stuff is: L!ve, Dragonfly, Sugar, Crown n Sceptre and Apple Bar. I know there's a few other venue's with other stuff (Electric Light, Enigma, Worldsend, etc), but that rounds up the most popular ones. It's good to see L!ve taking a risk and putting out nights for the 'real' music lovers, with stuff like dubstep, glitch, hardstyle, psy, etc. We don't need anymore electro in Adelaide!!!! Brendon always has played a flawless set! Good to see him a resident at the Q these days. Oh and for all you trance lovers, there was an announcement last night that Ben Gunner is moving Subconcious to HQ... which would mean no more St. Pauls nights
  6. ANUS that is hot.
  7. Thanks for the clarification
  8. I hate her with a passion. I hope she f**king moves back interstate. She can get the f**k out of Adelaide. Stupid f**king mole. And f**k her SAFM breakfast show. Ratings continue to decline yet they keep her and the other airheads on there. Useless.
  9. And you'd think Saturday night would bring out the weird shit because of the people you see in there.. But nope, it's Wednesday nights!!
  10. Ahahahahahaha YES! About a month ago when I was at Flashies, you know how they ask people to get up on the stage in the main room to dance to some bullshit song? This guy got up, pulled down his pants and started waving his bits around everywhere haha. Security literally tackled him and escorted him out. Hilarious!
  11. Wait... I saw turbo tune the other week with a For Sale sign above it, and it looked empty inside? They're back open again?
  12. Every workshop in Adelaide has a horror story told about it. Each time I took my R to that place, I received perfect service both mechanically and customer-wise. Since they have moved to a alternate location, I'm forced to move mechanics, as it's no longer viable for me to take my car such a distance to get it looked at. But yes, I've also had apprentice's and work experience kids work on my cars and have had mixed results. I've even seen for myself what some of them do to customer cars, and it's complete bullshit. From tyre changers limiter-bashing your car while it's standing still to others spinning the wheels and redlining it when they're meant to take the car for a drive around the block. It's bullshit that they let these 'kids' work on our cars, but these 'kids' have to start out somewhere. You're not born a import mechanic. If you don't want them working on your car, do the work yourself. Edit: I'd remove the refference to the name of the workshop and people can request PM's if they'd like the name. This IS a public forum, after all.
  13. I'd go with Nolathane. And the front-area bushes are like $500 to replace? That's what I got quoted? That was pretty much all of them, though. Most suspension places would sell them, too.
  14. Damo, is that you?
  15. Ahahaha I got invited there by this chick and a bunch of my mates last night. Couldn't be f**ked heading out, but if I new you's were down there, I would of headed down! Even though I hate flashies with a passion. The crowd on a Wednesday night is sooooooooo different than the weekend crowd.
  16. Don't you get a fine for missing it? My mate missed it and got a fine for it... like $300 or something.
  17. Yep ex-Melbourne taxi. Lives a few streets away from me. Saw it on the way to work this morning. It's pretty sad they're tagging cars now... but that's the first instance in ages I've seen shit like that. That car always sits in the house driveway, too... which is even more of a worry. Looks like some 13yr old job, though. Although some guys boat down the road got tagged a few months back with some bullshit. Not good. Very sad that it's coming to that.
  18. I'm personally meeting Xzibit this Saturday night. Oh dear. Got tix to his 'excluvsive VIP party' he's holding Saturday night down in Victor. Apparently it includes a meet and greet with the guy. At least I didn't pay for these tix haha. Better slip on my best pair of Nike Air Force 1's and bring down a Festiva so he can pimp my ride 'yo!
  19. Yeah Frosty played a killer set in the trance room at Sensations! Top guy, too.
  20. Yep he still has his show - I was driving around the other week on Friday night and he came on for a 2 hour set from 12am til 2am. Was a very, very good set! A good mix of old school stuff and new stuff. Good to see Fresh still give him the time and place. Most of the new kids on the scene have no idea who he is... they just think he's another dirty old DJ lol. HQ put him on a 10pm-11:30pm set on some Saturday nights out in the Soho bar which is a dissapointment, because no one is really out there at that time. He's got it tough since the 'market' is flooded with so many new, young DJ's these days... as they say, everyone wants to be a DJ.
  21. Happy Easter Luke. Oh wait...
