  5. Owned this on and off, along with my mate in the picture: 3" straight pipe into a 4" cannon. No resonators, no cats, no mufflers, nothing. Shot flames, was louder than a monster truck and back-fired like gunshots all the time thanks to a hole in the manifold. Survived 2 defect stations, 4 RBT stations and numerous times being pulled over. Never defected. BUT it did receive 4 noise complaints: Revving car for backfire and flames in underground Marion carpark - $174 fine (undercover cop). Revving down the street - neighbours complaint Revving through a Macca's drive-thru - managers complaint Revving out the front of the house - mums complaint It was so loud. Kye would know alllllll about it. Was loud until the exhaust actually ruined the engine, not enough back pressure or something and burnt out the valves. It dropped 4 cylinders and also blew the head/numerous coolant hoses. It was towed away by the council after his neighbours complained about it sitting there for 4 months.
  6. LOL at this quote:
  7. RB26: Disconnect the crank angle sensor (sits at the front where the letters RB26 is) Turn the key Let it crank
  8. I noticed last night that only in NSW the RTA has more power than the courts, that's bullshit.
  9. Rise, oh gee... don't get me started. If you ever ventured into the top room at Rise, you'll know what I'm talking about. HQ security is pretty bad. Club 199 used to have pretty full-on security, though. Dude at the door literally patted you down, checked behind your belt for pills/weapons, etc. Only a week ago, I was at Electric Circus on a Friday night. 4 guys got into a huge punch-up on the floor yet security did absolutely nothing. All they did was stopped the music! Then, the 4 guys got up and calmly walked out... it was kind of strange. But if you're ever in trouble in a club, don't bother running for security.
  10. Lucky man, Damo. The P plate system is simply getting tougher and tougher to get through. Once you're on your fulls, you're in the clear!
  11. No. You MUST stay on your P2's for a MINIMUM of 6 months. Since you've offended on your P1's, you may have to undertake a driver-awareness course as well as the normal test to progress to your P2's. I was sort of in the same situation, but regardless of your age, you MUST be on your P2's for 6 months.

  19. I just bought a can of 'Deep Spring Natural Mineral Water with Orange, Lemon and Lime' And it tastes like licking a lemon rind that's fallen off a dead lemon tree into a large pile of soil.
  20. Someone actually had 20" chrome rims on a 32 GTR at some point?!
  21. Read this story: http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0...5006301,00.html And read what a comment was for this story: I wonder how many high speed incidents there are in the immediate days and weeks after the Clipsal 500 has been in Adelaide. This must cost the state dearly in business disruption within Adelaide, does it also have a cost in lives? Posted by: Alan Fields of 9:33am today What kind of bullshit is that? Blaming Clipsal 500 for a bunch of robbers trying to out-run the police?!
  22. I thought they'd slide in under there, but just needed a diagram like what's on that website!
  23. As if you're sick of the sucking sound.
  24. Not necessarily. In SA, if you can prove an offense to be trifling, the magistrate has the power to reduce or remove all the demerit points from the fine. Here's a extract from the Motor Vehicles Act, 1959. http://www.courts.sa.gov.au/lawyers/magist...ehicles_act.htm
  25. 3 months isn't too bad - but you could always disconnect the CAS and manually crank it over just as a precaution.
