  1. Okay, I know Sled bought one of these in the past for his GTR: The Mines Cam cover baffle plate. But, where does it go and how is it installed?!
  2. Can be classed as structural support, so hacking away at that, in their eyes, is a big no no. In some cases, this means the rear parcel shelf needs to be engineered before you can pass Regency. That's happening alot these days.
  3. Madaz will love you.
  4. When car spotting gets too technical!
  5. This is more your style, Dohmar:
  6. Just for you, Madaz: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=373117 Lol...
  7. Anyone hear the owner of REVS this morning on Nova? He was saying how when he won tix to the VIP area for the Clipsal 500, and got introduced to Mike Rann, he asked him about the drag strip in Adelaide, why the land is withheld by the government, etc. Mike Rann's response: "I never new any of this? I'll get onto it." Right, so he never new that we've all been complaining for 5 years to get a drag strip in Adelaide? No worries, Mr. Rann.
  8. Aint nothing wrong with BBS LM's!!
  9. That and many other things. I have plenty of reasons and personal experiences to never buy from there and Redline Motorsport.
  10. Yes but they'd 'clean up the car' to get them through the ID check, remove the non-standard parts, etc. It's also a part of compliance, but they usually install the modded parts back on after compliance. And I know for a fact, Synergy respray their cars that they import and remove all the dents, dings, etc prior to putting the car into their car yard - hence the slightly higher price, even if the respray is a single layer affair.
  11. ...lol. I can't believe this is still going on!! You guys still have both my hoodies, but meh.
  12. lol: http://users.telenet.be/kixx/
  13. Interior: unplugged boost gauge in A-pillar? Or just a random wire hanging out? What's the kill-switch for? Steering wheel is worn, yes, but not as bad as what I thought it'd be (sweaty hands, etc can wear away the leather), floor matt's worn or just white lines on them?
  14. All imported cars look clean, especially the engine, after it's been blasted and cleaned in quarantine!
  15. I could have had a RB26 built with big-brand everything for that amount of money... Yet you chose to blow 15k on a RB20?!
  16. Sounds all like Synergy Motorsport to me!! Mate looked at a Supra, had to sign papers and put down a non-refundable deposit, etc after a test drive even though he wasn't keen on it at all after the test drive.
  17. KKR are ass. Cheap, laggy, etc. You be the judge: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Kk...od-t183792.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Kk...33-t260106.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tu...wn-t253002.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ch...it-t251203.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fm...os-t251603.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Kk...80-t249134.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Kk...ns-t245965.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Kk...rs-t229806.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Kk...ea-t216361.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Eb...es-t236327.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Kk...os-t237320.html "I just bought a KKR turbo, installed it and now I hear a whining sound when it comes on boost..." "I have a KKR turbo and when I hit boost, there's a cloud of white smoke behind me?" "I just bought a KKR turbo. Then my wife left me. Then I heard a metal clanging sound when it hit boost?" And the topics just roll on...
  18. Cat or no cat... if your car is running rich, you WILL get black 'shit' on your bumper.
  19. 32 GTR's are getting old, so it's normal for things to break and wear out. Bushes are a common item that will be worn, the gearbox, if it's had a hard life, will begin to show signs of worn synchro's, suspension is usually replaced with coilovers but they can begin to leak if they're old, window seals will start to deteriorate... Great cars, though. Once you get the RB26 rebuilt and tuned with the new turbo's, you'll fall in love all over again. Any car will cost you money in the long run, anyway. Even buying a R34 GTR, things will break... maybe just not as quickly. Edit: $9k for a rebuild? That's pretty expensive... you must be using big-brand name everything and need a new crank, etc?
  20. The Arena, as per his signature and username
  21. You actually want to use a KKR turbo?! Okay.
  22. Chef is using the R1R's on his GTR. From memory, they're borderline semi's. If they're used on his GTR, then they must be nothing short of awesome.
  23. Finally, a story based on the other side of 'hooning'
  24. Factory tint, Tangles? Isn't it tinted in the glass or something?
  25. Just woke up. f**k.
