Stolen in Elizabeth and clocked like 220k+ down South road until it burst a tyre in Christies Beach. Had it live on the news, too. Think he even managed to stop for petrol at some secluded petrol station after the cops pulled off due to extreme speeds.

Well that's the thing, it was over my shoulder but not buckled in because we were pulling over for me to get out the car. It was on the whole time - the cop just magically saw it at the last second. Oh well, I fought it in court and won.

Yes. One mate lost his license (P1's), continued to drive around, got caught 5 times at random times, got suspended for another year, still drove around and now he's back on his P1's until he's 25 (just turned 23). On top of that, he's been done for speeding, running red lights, talking on the phone, running from a bretho, changing drivers in front of a bretho, driving unlicensed and driving an unregistered car. Makes me angry how he got away with all of this and still gets to drive... Even driving while under suspension. Yet I get done in the back seat of a car with no seatbelt on and get hit with 3 points (even though I wasn't driving). We all learn our lesson eventually.

Many of my mates have worse records than that. Drink driving, speeding, loss of license, blah blah blah. Some of them are only 21/22. Nothing out of the ordinary these days with everything going on.

We use Adam for our business, although they have had a few outages during the day recently which has been annoying, so we've incorporated a Internode redundant connection for when Adam goes down.

Stricter licensing laws has been a huge factor. I'm good mates with a girl who owns Mojo's and a few other places around town and I've seen first hand how the prices for licensing is just going up and up. Along with raids/other events on the old clubs making it impossible to obtain another liquor license at the place. Eg. Club199, Rise, St Pauls, Church (although re-opened many years later... No idea how), The Planet, Rapture, The Basement, etc. And now that Earth, Cargo and Vodka Bar have shut down, it's just another kick in the teeth for Adelaide's nightlife. Developers simply won't bother with Adelaide - it's too hard to obtain a venue license. http://www.heaven.com.au/home.php And I love how the old Heaven website is still up and running, all these years later haha! Melbourne knows how to party. Nothing like walking out of a club at 7am and into another club at 8am and partying until 3pm.
