Morning all. Good friend at work, she and her husband were driving his late model BMW down the bay last night to find a park to eat. They got pulled over by the cops and got smacked with a $168 fine for having her stock standard fog lights on (the small ones in the front bar near the bottom). How petty can you get. There's alot more to the story (only got done for that, but it's the conversation that followed), but since it's a public forum, I won't say any more as she's taking it to court. Although, I heard in the news that the cops were cracking down on the use of fog lights... but I thought it was only the aftermarket ones? I thought the stock standard ones that came with the car were fine?

Don't get the mushroom-style pod's. They're rubbish. Stick with a Blitz, Greddy, HKS, etc brand... not a Drift brand.

I just got my broadband working when I read this! Cheers anyway!

I was going to start a brand new thread... But I thought I want to keep my account... So... I'd like to announce... After 9 long years, countless phone calls to Telstra... I... have... broadband. I'm using it right now. Wired broadband. No piss-weak satellite, ISDN, wireless, whatever... just hardcore wired broadband. I am living proof that Telstra do have a heart. After them telling me it'd cost me $20,000 to get me on broadband... they changed it over in like seconds. No charges. Holy... Shit... I'm not used to these broadband speeds. I've been living on 31.2kbps dial-up for years. I could cry right now. Cry with 1.5mbps tears. This moment is amazing.

That's what I might do I reckon. I'll swing past a mates place tonight. Only last week I got rejected for ADSL, yet magically this week I get accepted! Hmmmm
