  1. Weld diff. Cut springs. Ghetto shit. There's a flood of them going around... most with Nismo stickers on them.
  2. 140 degree's for oil temperature is HUGE. Anything over 110 degree's and I'd change the oil straight away! After 110, the oil is very thin. Get a oil cooler (the little radiator that sits in the front bumper) to cool down your oil maybe?
  3. Police bringing out a van/bus to the meet point?! That's a bit excessive... don't you think? It wouldn't be possible for them to defect every single car there anyway... they'd have to block off every exit, have enough police to go to every car, etc etc etc. People were being defected by just sitting in the car park...
  4. Yeah Tom, went to that huge cave. Never realised that it goes in so deep!! We walked in, climbed up and started walking through that small tunnel part until it just went pitch black! It went on for ages! Didn't even reach the end due to lack of any form of light. I wouldn't put it past anyone buring a body in that cave/mine site... let alone next to the tennis court!! It's a pretty strange down. It's basically abandoned. And nope, that mine (BHP one) has shut down. It was still half-working about 9 years ago, but now it's completely shut down. They've bulldozed the front of it where a huge conveyor belt used to be hanging out, though. Which is a shame, as you could walk on the conveyor belt and walk into the mine. I managed to climb up and into the mine itself, but it's pretty crazy in there. Everything is rusted out and there's graffiti everywhere inside the actual mine itself. Crazy stuff. Reminds me of some abandoned ghost mine or something. This is what I'm talking about: You can still walk in it, you just need to climb up heaps of stuff!! Oh and they've finished building a new jetty down there. The old jetty has now been fenced off. Edit: here's a better pic of that mine I'm talking about.
  5. Looking at all the cruise pictures, it's pretty low that cops had made such a huge presence on a cruise like that, considering what they're actually cruising for. Sure, it's no excuse, and there's plenty of defectable cars... blah blah blah... but it's still bullshit. I counted about 5 or 6 people getting defected... in the car park.
  6. Ouch on the cops at the cruise!! Had a feeling it might be the case, as it's highly advertised, and with all the cop drama on lately, I wouldn't doubt that they'd have a huge presence.
  7. Haha try camping at Rapid Bay in a tent! Did that shit last night... crazy wind! 2 tents actually snapped (well, one of the poles holding it up snapped). Hooray for Big W tents!! Haha $30 tent from Big W = disposable tent. Then we went walking... scaled the now closed rusty bridge, was awesome. Then walked in the old BHP mine site... that was also awesome. Then tried my hand at fishing... that was a failure. I caught some tiny fish that had some form of bug coming out its eye balls. That's 2 awesome things in one weekend. It was pretty awesome.
  8. Lol @ the cat joker.
  9. Decat? Mmmmmm
  10. Imagine actually trying to drive that thing... It'd be crazy! You'd be up until 4500rpm and then and then as the tires explode from lighting up so much.
  11. Dark Grey!
  12. T88 + SR20 = Massssssssssssssssssssive lag... then huuuge traction loss.
  13. Yes - details have been passed on to the owner of the ute! He was a contractor doing building works, too.
  14. He probs just came out of court for something... and was angry!
  15. LOL okay, so I'm sitting in the office here at SA Water, and hear this car revving out the front. It sounds like a old school V8 or something crazy. So I walked to the windows and looked down, and see this banged up VN Commodore, with faded paint all over it, no front bar, a smashed window and a crazy guy in the drivers seat. Anyway, so he keeps revving the car, reverses super quick into a ute parked behind him (actually hits the ute, dents the front bar... but no one was in the ute), takes off to the end of the street and then rips a massive skid in front of the law courts in Victoria Square!! And then takes off down the street with smoke everywhere. The thing sounded nuts! But shit... to rip a skid out the front of the courts?! at 11:30am in full view of everyone?!! Crazy.
  16. Would be keen as, but I'm going to Rapid Bay tonight!
  17. Haha nah Pete, I was getting sus looks as it was from other drivers, as the government plates make every driver think I'm a undercover cop!!
  18. Were you in the red S14 turning off Railway Tce near the Etsa stadium today? With an Asian chick next to you in the car?!
  19. That's weird that the court added another 6 months on? Usually they back-date it, taking into account what time you've already served.
  20. I'm waiting for the "I think I've blown the head on my car..." thread.
  21. so true Chad!
  22. Lol try saying that on the Magna Car Club of SA haha!! They're nuts on that forum. They love the Magna's!! Lol I wouldn't even dare to start up my GTR in this heat. It'd suck enough hot air in just idling!
  23. Spotted Pete (Sled) cruising down Goodwood Road today at about 3:30pm. You're gain to take out the GTR in this heat!! But the car looked great. I was in the government-plated white Commodore going in the opposite direction.
