  1. Kye, tell John his f*cking VR4 woke me up last night. It was like 12:30am and then I hear him start up his car. Shit its loud lol. My window was actually rattling. Ben's place there seems to be like the YMCA... always people coming and going lol

Lol. I remember a Holden Calibra or whatever they're called going around with plates similar. Nearly as bad as that Commo I had tailgating me the other day - plates: 'abvdlaw'
  3. Lol. The missus had one, but then it died and then the cat ate it. I was told the cat ate it after it died lol. Yep. First day back for me. Hasn't been good. Laptop shit itself and then I forgot where everything was stored. Stupid Sharepoint 2007 rubbish... anyone else use Sharepoint? It's like Windows Explorer... online... and gay...

Ahahahahaha +11111111111 The plates are a dead giveaway, too!
  5. Mike, that looks like Kristians old Chaser, Judging by the plates. Looks the goods!
  6. Spotted 3 Police standing in front of the ticket stands in the Adelaide train station in the morning at 8:15am at least 3 times a week, every week... They just stand there and do nothing. Why bother? Shouldn't they be investigating a crime? No one is going to bash anyone for a train ticket when walking off the train... Good to see SAPOL are putting the resources where they're required.
  7. Yeah +3. Most Skylines which come out of Japan at a minimal have coilovers and some form of larger exhaust. Skylines are getting old, so people replace the stock parts. What a fail of a comment. Word of advice from Uncle Daniel: "The best cops are the cops who don't defect you for non-defectable items" What, so it's not okay to drive a modified Skyline but it IS okay to drive a WRX with 22" chrome rims on it with LCD's on the firewall? Why doesn't he start targetting other forms of modified cars... like Lancers with Evo bodykits and Canons.
  8. ID check, possibly. It depends if they will pick up on it when they open the bonnet, etc as it'd be extra light. But they wouldn't go out of their way to check it. On that note, alot of people have told me my standard GTR bonnet is fiber-glass light! Which is strange.
  9. PM Luke-ENR34. He's the whiz with that!!
  10. +1 Dave. +1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 I can't actually type the amount of 1's I'd like to. I used to work opposite that Advertiser building. I was sure to give the building a angry glare now and again.
  11. Yeah Dave, I was wondering how they'd be able to detect unrego'd plates on cars! But apparently they're already working in 10 cameras around Adelaide (according to everyone's favourite - The Advertiser).
  12. Try either Doyles (Edwardstown) or Daniel Stone Spray Painting (Hackham near that Classic Performance dyno shop). Doyles: Expensive, but have had many mates go through there with cars to remove dents, full resprays, minor resprays, guard rolling, etc and they do a pretty decent job. They match up the colour basically perfectly and comes up nicely. Just drive down there and speak to them. Daniel Stone: Ruby recommended him. Might want to PM him. There's another place at Edwardstown that, fro,m memory, Fishpaste or Luke-Enr34 used? I can't remember the name though. Might want to PM them. Up North, you'd be looking at All Type Crash.
  13. Wait... Wait... Wait... we're walking about a inspection, not a defect check. Go to the Sturt station to get the inspection. Make sure you remove any OBVIOUS defects (meaning, fat chrome BOV's sitting at the top of the engine in full view). They're not as harsh at the inspection as what a defect would be. They'll check: engine numbers, tyre placard, spare tyre has 80k/h written on it, etc etc etc. They WONT check: db test on the exhaust, bushes, hidden turbo timers, hidden bovs, oil leaks, etc. I HAVE been through an inspection with a turbo timer tucked up in the drivers footwell area. Make sure your rims and tyres are not too large or too wide. Your best bet is to throw stockies on it. Front bar will most likely pass as long as it doesn't look obviously hacked away at.
  14. Have you checked the speedo cable + the solder on the back of the dash? Over time, it comes loose. Have you recently put new tyres on or a larger rim? This can also affect it, but mainly only by 10kmph
  15. On that note, 10 red light/speed camera's around Adelaide will now be able to detect unrego'd cars and take a quick snap of them. Good idea, I think.
  16. Will be alot of police presence due to the xmas period for at least another 2 weeks.
  17. Whoa, the old Phu 34! I remember seeing it in the hills one night. I also have a copy of the Hot4's mag that it appeared in a long while back lol. His RX8 looks the goods, though. I see it quite a bit. And Fr33k, Lol @ the scooter getting done. Also, spotted a VR doing massive line lockers down Morton Road in Christies Downs last night at about 11:30pm. Suprised he didn't burst his tyres... and then started circle work in the middle of the road... and then, 30 seconds later, the cops came gunning down the road and pulled him over. Goodbye, VR. It got impounded.
  18. Looks the goods, Ryan. Don't mind a bit of dish!
  19. Depending on the dates and stuff, I should be down.
  20. i know for a fact that braided brake lines are fine but must be adr approved and must carry the adr sticker, etc. But i don't know if you can get adr approved turbo water/oil lines? Regardless if you had braided or not though, you need the stock turbo. When calling up regency, ring 3 times,as you'll get different answers each time. They're as useless as service sa.
  21. yeah so true,Dan. They showed the video with a cop watching it and the cop was like "we have no idea what road he's travelling on,but we'll find out". Yeah, right on!! Fly to japan and you'll find it. Just cos the description says Adelaide doesn't mean it's actually in Adelaide!! Don't cops have anything better to do than troll youtube and search for "adelaide hoon","burnout" and "adelaide drift"? You never know... We might have a paul walker tagging along in our cruises now! Lol. This 'covert' crap is becoming a joke. And +1 to the comment about Adelaide being a retirement state! We have too many people being keyboard warriors on adelaidenow website, commenting every hoon story with useless shit like "lock him up for life" and "crush his car and the family car". It just adds fuel to the advertisers brainless editors who froth off hoon stories. Best example of that: adelaidenow had a poll saying: should p platers be banned from high performance cars? They had no 'no' option!! How bad is that!! Someone commented on that too, saying 'typical adelaidenow poll...'
  22. yeah covert meaning joining car forums, acting like they own a nice import, organise a cruise and then get all the cops down there to the meet spot. It's happend before. If you post up stupid driving antics on youtube, you're a knob. Anyone remember a article on today tonight ages ago, where they showed a video of a sprinter sliding through the hills in japan? And the cops thought it was the adelaide hills? And then they were saying the cops are going to find the road, what a adelaide hoon, he's probably a p plater, blah blah blah but they didn't even know that it was in japan!! That's a big fail. There's a video on youtube named "gouger st drifting" or "grenfell st drifting" but the actual video was shot in japan. Those types of video's should be removed!! Because cops actually think it's shot in adelaide!
  23. freedom of speech, but i'd doubt they'd release it! And they wouldn't release it to any joe blow of the public. Maybe if a minister requested it?
  24. spotted a mint 32 gts with plates rhr 032 at wallis theatre at colonades tonight at 9pm. Chick driver. Was a auto though
  25. Oh shit lol. I had a feeling it was already posted, but couldn't remember where.
