  1. Lol yeah spot on. Def British number plates. They also have no logos or emblems, etc.
  2. FYI, if anyone wants to know whats legal and whats not for Defects and Regency trips, you can find the Rules here: http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/pdfs/person..._bulletin_3.pdf
  3. Alright here's a quote from what the act says:
  4. Half cage is legal. I'll get the section from the ADR handbook in a sec. From memory, it must be padded and you must re-register your car as a 2 seater, but I'll look it up now. Edit: and get it engineered, and carry the paperwork with you. But either way, cops wont have a clue and will defect you even if you show the engineers report.
  5. Welcome. I've heard of some pretty crazy cars going around the Barossa area (especially a few Supra's).
  6. You got defected, too?
  7. Dave, check out the Defected thread. EBC and non-standard airbox (bullshit)
  8. hmmm alot of people seem to be jumping on the evo/chaser bandwagon lately. Maybe i should take a spin in one to see what everyone's raving about!
  9. spotted a silver 34 gtt with british number plates and a trade plate on driving around colonades yesterday. Those british plates look so strange! He must of brought the 34 from britain.
  10. vu,the air filter defect is bullshit. If the pod is secured, then there's no issue! It can be covered or uncovered. May i ask which suburb did you get defected at?
  11. Yeah like a dedicated Wasteland section.
  12. Rocky, Boostworx are great. I use them for everything. But as with any mechanic, you'll be paying $$ for them to take a squiz at it.
  13. Lol... Compared to say, ns.com... I'd class this as a forum worthy of my bandwidth.
  14. Spotted a Green VN/VP commo with P plates, with plates: "abvdlaw" tailgating me along Brighton Road. Had 20" chromies, tan leather interior and a bunch of f**k nuts in it. They thought they were awesome. He even had a 7" LCD in the rear window... facing out... so people who tailgate him have something to watch. Why don't cops defect that piece of shit?!
  15. Tim, your car is pure sex. I've seen your car in person (on that dawn cruise) and f**k, it's really impressive. Hopefully getting through the country-equivalent of Regency isn't too much of a head f**k!!
  16. Nice finger prints, Dan lol
  17. Lol Chad, nice looking car, or nice looking driver?! She has a nice choice of plates, too! lol
  18. I'm going to a mates place to get wasted and trash the place. And then wake up and claim I didn't do it.
  19. You're gain, Luke! There's a huuuge RBT/defect blitz on tonight!!
  20. Shit. Shows how 'attentive' I am on here these days!
  21. Cruise up, Mr. Rhys? I can't remember the last time I ever drove to Ingle Farm... I can't even remember where it is lol
  22. Wow... I just realised Cubes has 'retired' from SAU's moderator team and now Heslo's a mod here... Lol...
  23. Dave, if you're on the market... http://houseofgrafix.net/index.php?page=sh...t&Itemid=26
  24. The connecting clip is faulty, a new cap is required or there's a block in the system causing excessive pressure. Hopefully you haven't blown/damaged the head yet, either!
  25. Does the clutch get stuck to the floor and you manually have to bring it back up? If it's the slave cylinder, the clutch will get stuck to the floor. You'll also have clutch fluid leaking inside the car in the drivers footwell. Brand new kits (slave cylinder) is like $40 brand new... but that'll last 10 years or so. Get a steel bearing sleeve kit, get that installed and it will outlast the age of the car. Also, check your clutch fluid reservoir. If it's low or empty, then you have a leak either from the master and/or slave. Best to get both repaired at the same time, as they'll usually give up together.
