  1. For all you Bam lovers: That's mine. I also have a tattoo of Pac Man on me! But I'm at work, so can't take a pic at the mo.
  2. F*cking awesome tattoo's!!
  3. Spotted a Silver 33 at Murry Bridge today
  4. iPhone has good and bad points. My good mate has one, and went from a N95 to a iPhone. Good: Touch screen Huge amount of applications available Fast response times to everything Large amount of space iTunes built in Bad: Applications can be expensive Screen and back cover gets covered in fingerprints iTunes is the only program you can import music to your phone Horrible camera Speakers on the bottom of the phone Hard to get custom ringtones working No bluetooth No MMS On screen keyboard My mate has dropped his phone a few times, and it hasn't stuffed up yet. They seem to be pretty hardy phones. The screen doesn't scratch easily, either. Apparently there's a certain version of firmware that supports MMS? You might have to search around for it. They're great phones, but it all depends on what you want to use it for. I don't think they are really a decent business phone for, say, checking your e-mails, because from memory, the e-mail program isn't a Pull-type (automatically downloads emails as they come in, rather than opening up the application each time to then download e-mails). If you SMS alot, you'll have the Qwerty touch keyboard. The keys are very cramped, and it's hard to type quickly on it. Expect alot of spelling mistakes! Voice quality, it isn't fantastic. Sometimes it's quite hard to hear my mate on this phone! But application-wise, there's a huge amount available but be prepared to pay for 90% of them!! They range from $1 to about $20 and can all be purchased/downloaded via the phone. That's about all I know of it! I've had a decent play with it quite a few times, and it's great with the touch screen, but don't know if I could use it full time. Have you seen that new Samsung phone with the Windows Mobile software on it? That's touch screen but with ALOT more features. Edit: Oh, and forgot to mention... if you're going on a plan, make sure you get a large internet cap on it. My mate had 300mb a month and he went over it in a few days of just internet surfing, and got charged huge amounts for every mb after! The iPhones use alot of bandwidth!!
  5. Haha awesome... so all that fuss about this cop, and now he has it out for Skylines?! Great. Yet more heat on Skylines. Well, that was completely pointless e-mailing him!!
  6. Spotted Kye (Dirty2) on Beach Road tonight looking at a car yard with a SAU hoodie on!
  7. Kye!! I found a video on my PC the other day of Ben, you and me cruising around in your 32 when it was Auto and Black. We were cruising around down Port Noarlunga area. I'll have to show you it!! Ah, dude... you finally sold it. I was expecting this thread was a "I wrote off my car" thread! Get a Chaser, VR4 or some form of Evo!! Can't believe it dude. I remember when you and Ben came around my place a few weeks after you bought it, and we went for a spin down to Cardijn College!
  8. Gee! That RX-7 was awesome, as with the Chaser, too! Spotted a white 33 going down Grote Street at lunch time today. Black rims.
  9. Kristian, do you still have your Chaser?
  10. Hmmm... Group buy on this one? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...rksid=p3907.m29
  11. Should be all easy mate. But yeah, report the cop. It pays to be nice, but at the same time, to note down anything and everything the cop says. You're more than entitled to asking for his badge number, etc. If they start snapping at you, don't snap back. Just take it and note it down. It'll bite them in the behind later down the track.
  12. Lol blowing an engine in reverse gear?! Reverse gear dyno runs FTW!! Hahaha
  13. Spotted Sleeper 85 (Kristian's old 34. Pretty sure that's his username on here?) going near the Court's in Victoria Square. I see you at least once a week in the city lol. I was walking out of SA Water
  14. Pfft give me 1.6 over css any day! I've never experienced 1.5, though! Anyone up for... Quake 3 Arena?! Hahahaha... even though they don't have that game, I love it!
  15. No worries. The dip stick hasn't popped out, and I don't have a blowby issue, but I'll book it into my mechanic next week! Yeah I noticed that tray! I guess it would get pooled up in that.
  16. Lol good point, Ruby. Spotted a Black Series 2 R33 going along North Tce this morning.
  17. Add Ryan to the recommended workshops thread! Lol
  18. Whoa! Rocky88, the first thing you should have done is asked for his badge number and got out a pen and paper and started taking notes. Racial comments from a police officer is simply not on. In regards to the defects, the cops can, and will, defect you for a 'loud' exhaust even without hearing or testing it. They can send you to Regency on suspicion of a defect, too. Don't worry about the Turbo Timer claim, as, if it's connected into the alarm system, you'll be fine going through Regency. I'm not sure about the laws surrounding opening up your compartments, but I know they don't need a warrant, but may require to ask you to open it, rather than them opening it themselves. But I'd be reporting this one to the police.
  19. Hey, I've got some sort of fluid leaking onto the left hand side of the crossmember. So, if you're standing in front of the car, in front of the headlights, it's dripping from somewhere underneath the plenum or even further back towards the firewall. I don't have any equipment to jack the car high enough to get under it, but if I lay on the ground and take a squiz, I can see it. It looks and smells like oil, and it's fresh.. plus I've lost a bit of oil, so it must be it. It must be leaking very slowly, as I've never noticed any stains on my driveway or anywhere I park. I've checked everything at the top of the engine, and got a torch in to where the oil filter is screwed on, and that all looks fine... So what's around that area, underneath the plenum, that could be leaking? Oil pump? Any certain seals? Something with the sump? Some sort of oil line to the turbo's? Cheers
  20. Same issue here. Started after a compression test for a random reason. Maybe loose cable or loose solder behind the cluster. Rip out the cluster and check all solder joints and cables, etc. Haven't fixed mine yet :|
  21. Yeah, is it the factory gauge or aftermarket gauge + sender?
  22. Check coil packs, plugs, etc. And cross your fingers!!
  23. hsgdfughsfd Chef, we need to organise a cruise simply to see this GTR of yours!!! So jealous. Now we can spot your beast on the streets of Adelaide!
  24. 1.6 FTW! I own on that shit.
