Make sure your pod filter is secured, no oil leaks, all lights working, suspension isn't coilovers, etc. Make sure the exhaust isn't loud at 4000rpm, as that's where they test it to. If it is, shove a resinator in the line somewhere. $50 fix. I'm not a fan of BOV's, but if you must run one, have it standard or get a black, stealth one and make sure it's tucked down deep. I had a stealth black one in my old Familia and cops never found it. Personally, these days, I wouldn't run a after-market BOV. The standard one on the GTR sounds great as it is, and it's 100% legal! The more 'bling' and chromed piping under the bonnet, the more likely you will get defected. Go the stealth look!

Pete, you're BBS rims are very similar to my BBS rims, except the colour on yours looks fantastic! And mine have quite a bit of gutter rash on them from the previous owners in Japan That's the best pic I have on this computer of the rims!

Had a tinker around with the GTR last night and found that it still has the stock boost restrictor in one of the vacuum lines (Nissan put it in to meet the gentlemen's agreement and circled the line with a yellow stripe, etc etc etc). Can't believe that none of the previous owners in Japan took it out to get a safe boost increase! Crazy.

Spotted a white 33 with white rims on South rd just past Turbo Tune. Anyone from here? Also spotted a white 33 with a GTR rear wing going past Thebarton. Sounded awesome!

White = Oil or coolant... Could be anything. A slight amount of residue in the cooler pipes is fine, but any more than that would indicate a blown turbo. Does it blow out alot of smoke when it hits boost?

100,000k service - change your water pump (Get a N1) and also change the timing belt. And change basically every fluid in the car. Get a dyno tune, too!
