  1. You're better off getting an R34 harness then, there will be major issues with the earlier model harness that will require alot of splicing the looms. If you use an R34 one it will click straight in with only a couple of minor issues... rather than a whole lotta rosie. R34's have built in ignitors to the coils, so you don't need/run the external pack.
  2. But how oh how can imports grudge match then?
  3. Haha hell my car kept stalling coming up to the burnout box, after the burnout, then coming up to the staging lights, during the run and coming down the return road, then also when collecting the timeslip. I think Mona did better than me
  4. Great day, would never go to a Wed night meeting again. It took about 60 hours of work to convert the N/A car to a new turbo motor, there were still a fair few problems that just didn't get done (like stalling between gearchanges). Despite the frustration was still great, got to do a decent burnout for once Best timeslip of the day was lining up against Adrian, ran a 12.1 @ 117mph, nothing like a bit of healthy competition to push the car! Edit: And that was on the tractor tyres! Borrowed a set of F&E's BFs to get a 1.7 60' later in the day.
  5. Which model harness? There are differences between the models.
  6. Rising rate reg... the previous advocates of using standard injectors on big power cars have not mentioned it for a while... could be the fact the motor shat itself so they rebuilt it + then changed injectors?
  7. Wow with that amount of power surely you'd be able to make a bold statement or two? That's way more power than any of us are making, and a better ratio than the 4.11's the 'Lines are using. I'm up for a grudge match in my humble little standard GTS, I'll go as far to say 2 out of 3 races I'll have ya!
  8. NV's just taking the piss out of me, the car failed to outperform it's previous dyno sessions. I think it might have something to do with having less power than his, and handing him his ass
  9. Just go get me some coke... and some watermelon....biatch! Or three crown lagers. p.s. You got a contact number?
  10. Hey Fatz don't worry, my black car is an N/A car anyway. You could still hand NV-033 his ass on a platter, despite your gay club line.
  11. Don't worry NV, there might be a couple of stock S15's there for you to envy. I'm going to take the car to Insight for a "real" dyno graph, or over to perth...
  12. I think Theo's R32 has just been upgraded to one, must be capable of a fair amount (there was some actual testing data posted on Mario's section on the FF boards, but has since been deleted?). IIRC it was worth 1350 hp... damn expensive support systems!
  13. Imported from the U.S, makes 2200hp with those "small" T76 twins. Not bad for a 7.4L V8? Used in the Outlaw class "street" cars.
  14. Naw the Turbo 400 auto is already in, the new motor was put in over the weekend: Knife to a gunfight huh? More like a canon!
  15. New clutch - check Refill gas bottle - check Larger non stock turbo - check Hey at least we both have all these points covered.
  16. Don't worry, I've been practising my burnouts so I'll get that launch down.... I'll say 1.6 second 60 foots. I'll be surprised if you keep up, I mean you've already lined up the "I'm not used to my new clutch" excuse already.. but the "my gas bottle is empty" still is mine!
  17. What does that make you if you're over 6mph slower than me? You going to be wearing the kiss-the-cook apron?
  18. And you can take your Fowlcan and go to the servo to keep getting drinks!
  19. Damn, I'm trying to incite some rebellion in this thread so ppl have a bit more incentive to go harder, but no one is biting!
  20. So you + Paul are offering to cook?
  21. Oh thanks for reminding me to refill the gas bottle Adrian, nearly forgot. Estimates? None at all, but based on the D.C. round I think with tyres + gas I can edge out Adrian, and Dirt Garage's entry.
  22. I'll put my wang on the chopping block and throw down the gauntlet. This will be fun, is Stacey driving?
  23. I am invincible! My new engine is constructed only of the finest and well known components, all hand selected to perform optimally together. The greatest mechanics of all time banded together to work on the project, which was conducted in a state of the art, no expense spared workshop. Easy enough to see why I am so confident about the car, and how it will go.
  24. So you think the lineup for the B-Man award is: 1) UAS John 2) Boos7a? 3) NV-033 4) Bu5ter Dunno how you rate your chances, pretty stout competition there.
  25. Trust is made by Quaife, HKS ripped off Hollinger. Depends on what you want to use the car for. SK, how does a sequential make things cheaper? You can't control the shift speed on them, it's just pull (or push) and clunk? Although missed gears might be eliminated, I think you can still get some problems with forks + the cams on them.
