  1. Hey I have no idea, and I'll freely acknowledge that. NV-033, can you hook me up with a set of those?
  2. Yeah, was that on wrecked's run or Brett's? I missed 3rd gear on my 12.09/124 run, so not sure what you're implying.
  3. The Whinnibago, like in his sig
  4. It all comes down to how much engine work has been done, and the rest of the supporting systems. I don't think you could tell Croydon NZ that the T88 is a dissappointment since they've done 8's with it, I have a nagging feeling R34 N1 turbos won't go anywhere near that..
  5. Hey Andrew, look at his MPH. Nitrous will give you a quicker time, it's mainly off the line where it counts. But MPH is going to be more turbo based considering the small amounts of nitrous used.....Brett was doing 128MPH turbo only!~ chop chop
  6. Thom-eh or Yoon kit
  7. What are your cams set at? I doubt it could be the cams, mine were slightly out and it still belted out decent power and drove perfectly. It could be the blow off valve being a little leaky? Was the BOV the same before the setup too?
  8. :werd: Edit: damn 3 posts while I edited this!
  9. Is that a challenge? Good thing I've bought a new car that cost under $10K, with the $3K worth of mods I'm going to throw at it let's race!
  10. I don't have a problem with you having software and not wanting to distribute it. I really have no right to a vocal opinion on what anyone does. There's no need to mention it like - as Gojira said - unless you are chasing down attention... now you've got me to post 3 times directed at you, satisified with the reaction?
  11. Sorry, I thought this clearly spelt out how much your attitude regarding assisting other SAU members. Obviously I can't read for shit, and mis-interpret engrish. Help? I thought you just said you won't help... Mental note, I gotta lay off the crack..
  12. Translated: I've been able to get a copy and make the fittings, but don't bother asking me for a copy or how to do the attachment as I won't give it to you.. Call a spade a spade.
  13. You should come up here and take it for another spin at E.C. It's alot more fun now, it has the power to match the handling Well the brakes aren't up to spec now, but do you really need them?
  14. I think 300rwkw is more than enough power in a RWD car, especially if it's a street/circuit car. If you could make that power with an almost linear (re:N/A) power delivery I think it would be more enjoyable, controllable and faster than some of the larger nothing-then-wheelspin setups that some GTS-t owners have. Then again, you know how to steer pretty well, and can learn how to regulate a 350rwkw car with some moderation on your right foot. But it's more fun just to plant it and try to fight it!
  15. Heh sorry for the confused reply, I guess if you don't own the car you're not going to treat it with mechanical sympathy. The majority of drag strips in Aus operate under ANDRA, and their rules stipulate the safety devices for cars running certain times. If they know your car does xyz time and it doesn't have the gear on it, they won't let you run.
  16. The quicker your car runs, the more "safety" objects the car needs. Hence the cage for sub 11's, parachute for 140+mph etc.
  17. The excitement, the angst, the biterness! Hahaha seriously, his car did a good pass, I mean it's got a T78 and Nitrous, you think it would do a 15 second pass? If someone drove my car faster than me I would be pissed off at them, and be eager to try again to beat it. I'm sure "wreckedhead" is keen to get out there and do his own passes next time...
  18. Hahah really? That would have been a good effort, 20 inch rims.. sorry, 20 inch chrome rims doing a 10 second pass. Nice time none-the-less, will have a few people chasing him down now
  19. I think your calculations might be a little bit off. Have you checked out a GTi-R lately? Even *if* (and it's a very very very very big if) you managed to squeeze the engine in without removing the struts, fabricating an adapter to suit the existing 4WD gearbox would be a nightmare. Then add on the fact the torque will utterly smash it to pieces....
  20. I miss you too Steve
  21. Ahh see, you're meant to estimate your opponents power and change the boost setup before you race! The less things the driver has to fiddle with or monitor, the more they can concentrate on actually driving the car. Oh and for boost controllers, Blitz SBC-Id3 = the best
  22. That would be a really really big Cobra then
  23. Big $, big turbo, big wheels. Low times!
  24. The amount of custom work required to install a dry sump would be more than $1400 alone. The pump and tank would also cost more than $1400. Think it's more like $3-4K for the dry option.
  25. Pffft I'll chop it... next time I get out there!
