  1. Is it my bad eyes + odd lighting or is the back half covered in primer?
  2. Buster vs B-Man would be a more vaild comparison, both have ~325rwkw peak (Buster 328, B-Man 323). Buster's TD06-25G/10cm rear had more all over the curve, boost coming in 1,000rpm earlier + a higher peak. B-Man's 3040/1.22 A/R is capable of far more - his is only in initial stages of development whereas Buster's was at it's peak. (I should just shaddup and let both of those guys post here, but I blabber too much)
  3. Hahaha good one!
  4. Interested, same quiz as Emre tho.

    T618Z help

Should be pretty cheap, he's only asking the price to install 1 turbo SR20 style!
  6. In my skewed, often wrong opinion... Double ball bearing turbos don't rely on oil pressure to support loads, and (GT series) have water cooling to cool the cartridge. So a high pressure/volume of oil isn't as vital - hence why I use a restrictor. Edit: I think this applies to all HKS ball bearing turbos, and Garrett GT as well.
  7. Steve got 320rwkw from a HKS 3037S, I doubt you would see more than 230rwkw from the GCG highflow. The 3040 (82mm GT40 comp) can make that power too but would have a bit less response than the 3037S. Other options: Trust TD06-25G (Bu5ter - 328rwkw) Trust T67 (no one's got one... yet! more than a TD06-25G) Apexi RX6 (same as T67) Hrm and some others.
  8. Ohhh I wonder if that will let me shift quicker! Looks pretty good as they replace the base plate as well with a machined part... and the shifters are pretty much interchangable between skyline boxes. No mo' granny shifts~!

    Plug schmug!
  10. Would they have any VG30 cam idler bearings?
  11. Pffttt got NAWS now too
  12. Earlier the better I guess, I won't be able to get there until 11-11:30am. Yeah Adrian, I'm pretty keen to improve my reaction time and launch.. all driver related (yeah I'm a gimp!).
  13. As ripped off the www.wsid.com.au site.. Saturday 12th June Auto One presents the Pennzoil Street Meeting Download the Entry Form Go Off Street Racing FAQ Gates open for competitors from 9 am, racing from 11 am until 5 pm Gates open for spectators at 10 am Entry: Spectators $15, Children under 15 free Competitors: $45 Time to practice the whole burnout + launching thing...
  14. Front damaged? Bar, lights, guards, bonnet -> interested in.
  15. Deciphered.. Congratulations Adrian, you pulled some great times and even better burnouts... Some of the other times were ok too, but in my mother's Charade I think I could chop them silly... All the lads at the schoolyard are talking about your burnouts, we soaked the carpark in diesel to try and get some of that smokescreen happening, but alas we cannot compare. See that girls jugs? Phwoar! That Sarkis reversing gerhl had a set on her too! Hope I did some justice
  16. Cool, going to be at WSID for yet another shot at it on Sat. Will talk to Jimmy then - there's alot I need to discuss.
  17. I think your motor is being choked by the standard cams. No matter how much boost you run, the cams are going to dictate how much air is able to flow into and out of the engine (ok, that's pretty simplified, but that's the gist). You're going to need cams with a 3 liter bottom end anyway, so don't think of it as money wasted.
  18. Have you guys checked the timing with a gun? I had the same problems, turned out the timing was way out (and yes I marked everything clearly to put it back in exactly the same, but it still got knocked out by a fair bit anyway)/
  19. 1st: 12.445 @121.81 MPH, 2.226 60' 2nd: 12.604 @ 121.50 MPH, 2.297 60' 3rd: 12.299 @ 123.93 MPH, 2.334 60' 4th: 12.090 @ 123.00 MPH, 2.000 60' 5th: 13.421 @ 120.00 MPH, 2.206 60'
  20. Ok I changed over the rear coilovers to HKS Drag shocks, while I was under there I took a couple of pics of the suspension setup. I forgot it has a full Nismo link kit (both F+ R), but I doubt that is as effective as adjustable heim jointed upper arms.
  21. Glen's got a triple up for sale, in pretty good condition: http://board.performanceforums.com/forums/...readid=67176333 Will fit GTS-t.
  22. Hi Guys, I'm after a HKS exhaust housing to suit the 3037/3040 range of HKS turbos. I'll consider anything larger than a 0.73 A/R - so let me know what you have and how much! Thanks.
  23. Now that's a burnout! Was that the first time those Nitto's were taken to the track? How did you rate the wider tyre? How much wear did DC cost the tyres?
  24. That's the old cast HKS manifold, as Roy said.
  25. I riced it up with a pure carbon bonnet + bootlid, but left everything else in there. Exhaust is same as what I run on the street, no cat, and only a Nismo cannon muffler at the rear. Tis a bit loud, but I need all the help I can get. Oh yeah and I'm weighing in at about 80kgs (gotta lay off the donuts).
