  1. Hah, I got there late and that was the only run I saw you do. Was pretty impressive, looked like a very very easy 9 second pass *if* there was no backing off. I had thought you might have been pedaling it just to stay in the 10's if you didn't have the rest of the ANDRA gear to be teched for 9.99+. Still, making a buttload more power than last year. No trans problems this time?
  2. Wasteland for drag related schtuff? Heard that Theo and Mark are both upgrading to GT47 turbos as well as GTR-700, seems like everyone is happily on the upgrade cycle.
  3. So what's the latest? Saw that Cressida boat running last Friday, only saw one run but it looked like he hit the brakes hard and a mediocre launch? Still did a low 10 - had it already run a 9 and would be booted if dipped into the 9's again? Any word on Dirt hitting the track?
  4. Hahah ouch. C24? Never heard of that. What happened to C3PO?
  5. Wrong motor for that car dude, found the right one.
  6. It's a crate of chocolate doughnuts, as ordered by Brett "I sit in the stands and eat doughnuts while hurling abuse" Grabham. Funny enough it came from NZ.
  7. The records below are for Japanese cars in Australia running treaded radial tyres. Note that times recorded with methanol or nitro-based fuels are not included.
  8. Well looks like Paul and Adrian have upgraded long motors, Charlie is back for another round and some others getting into the drag racing action. Any chance of seeing a heads up Skyline shootout in the near future? Bring it on! Might *finally* be ready soon too, hope I have gone far enough to have a chance.... at the top 7 at least
  9. Care to elaborate with specific facts? I take it you are quite familiar with RB head design and port flow, and know both what you are talking about with regards to RB heads and SK's henchmans capabilities.
  10. Sure can make one easy payment of $8,000 drive away deal. Also selling used 101mm Turbonetics turbo - good for 1800hp+ $3300
  11. It's alright, surely bro someone will want it to be King of the Streets
  12. I see you looking 4door, up for it?
  13. Also have a ported HKS T51R exhaust manifold $1500
  14. Selling my RB26, was built as a full-on item for a 1200hp motor. All work was done by RAMS head service in Windsor, they were responsible for GTR-700's head initially and learnt alot about RB heads from JUN - and were getting better results than them as well. Parts list: Custom 1mm oversize stainless valves (when I got the head done in 2004 off the shelf items were not available, made from Ferrea alloy blanks) Aftermarket valve guides Apexi V-Max SPL springs, retainers and buckets Apexi V-Max SPL 280 degree 11.5mm lift cams (also have Tomei 290/11.5 and HKS 300(?)/11.5 cams as well) Tomei camshaft stud kit Trust cam gears New stem seals Also have ported injector base/manifold to suit head Labor list Ported intake + exhaust runners Profile guides Polished + cc'd chambers Unshroud valves in chamber Flow benched and runner flow equalised Steam hole modifications/water gallery modifications Clearanced for high lift cams Drilled for 1/2inch head studs Flow figures: Lift Int Exh 0.05 51.9 46.4 0.1 100.4 94.5 0.15 147.2 134.8 0.2 186 167.5 0.25 221.3 197.2 0.3 252.4 219.5 0.35 277.5 229.7 0.4 292.9 236.8 0.45 304.7 240.8 0.5 309.2 241.8 Have spent over $10,000 on this item (RAMS alone was $5500 with no parts) , had some big plans for my R33 but have gone a different route now. I also have a Harris Engine ported head here too (same people SydneyKid uses and raves on about) and it is nothing compared to this RAMS head. Benefits of having such a modded head are quicker turbo spooling (or capacity to spool a larger turbo reasonably), more power(!!!) and to a degree lower intake temps (due to less boost needed to make xyz power figure etc). $8,000 or near offer, located in Sydney. Item is still unused, have mocked engine up a few times for clearancing/ ricer pictures but that's about it. Couple of pics of the head, 3rd pic is of the ported intake against a standard head to show how much material was removed on the ports.
  15. When cars initially launch the pinion in the diff actually tries to climb the ring gear. This action is in the reverse of engine rotation (counter-clockwise) and "lifts" the passenger side of the vehicle. Can be corrected alot of different ways (pre-loading suspension arms is common) but having more load on the passenger side can help. Hence why cars will twist up and lift the passenger side wheel first.
  16. 600hp(Ben) works at Hypertune btw.
  17. Selling off my hypertune RB26 plenum with 100mm throttle body. Not going ahead with this, so parting it out. $2500. Located in Sydney.
  18. Uh you calling me lazy compared to Ben? Geez harsh crowd, must be the christmas cheer.
  19. Selling a VQ35DE motor that I was planning as a future power upgrade for my Skyline. Long motor only, from sump to lower intake plenum. No electronics, exhaust or other stuff. Needs to be rebuilt because previous owner never did an oil change, it rotates but have doubts over condition. $1500 firm.
  20. Is this the same Jim Berry? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=2422490
  21. Selling the complete top end off an RB26. Came off an R33 GTR. Combustion chamber had been modified in Japan with the intake valves unshrouded. Includes intake manifold, throttle bodies, head, stock cams, cam covers (didn't have spark plug cover with it), 720cc injectors, stock fuel rail, stock exh manifolds. $1500. Also have a pair of stock turbos - $300 for both. Were in good condition, were replaced by T517Zs. Located in Sydney. 19/12 - Head is sold.
  22. Ian Baker-Finch?
  23. It's a bit hard to quote a price until a motor is stripped, I think it will only bite them in the ass if they quote a job and then find major internal damage.. either way the customer will be annoyed the price has gone up or they are left copping a loss. Or they could quote a high price that would cover any additional work, which they don't do.
