  1. Hi guys, have got a used HKS 2530 and some brand new GReddy cam gears (RB series) for sale. The turbo has minimal shaft play, no marks or damage to blades and comes with a HKS actuator. Asking $1700 with acutator or $1600 without. Cam gears are.... cam gears. Brand new still in boxes. $480 the pair (in and ex) You can contact me via pm's or email at cbaloglow at netspace.net.au. Located in Sydney, have still got some other parts (Trust TD06 kit, HKS 2835, alot of cams, intercooler etc.) available, check out my other thread here .
  2. The mph on Buster's car indicate it should do a 10 second pass. The 60 footer is a shocker.
  3. Roy owns a WRX, I've seen him driving around. He's better than the Skyline crowd. At least my Kombi pulls the crowds.... at Nimbin. Pity they were all dealers.
  4. For the good $hit: https://store.summitracing.com
  5. Well I'm convinced now, you've got my vote as the official SAU mascot!
  6. As quoted from the forum bible:
  7. Dog boxes make a horrid clunking noise when changing gear, and jolt the car. The gears make a loud whining noise too. Can be a bit hard to get into gear when the car isn't moving.
  8. Here he comes, here comes speed racer, He's a demon on wheels..... Or something like that.
  9. That guy will never run into financial problems. Ever wonder what sort of a salary someone would be on where the contract spells out what you can't do in your spare time? Rumor has it that Sony is his master....
  10. Depends on your preferences
  11. Hi Munro, what makes you say the Pfitner box is better than the Trust? Oh and how's your Drag '33 coming along? We need an update! Time for one of your great long posts on your cars
  12. Hahaha you would think a person would know the price of objects they are selling. Or maybe not? P.S. can anyone lend me 20 grand?
  13. Woohoo my milkman brethren! go go dairyboy
  14. R34's are selling for 3million+ Yen (~$AU38K). No one is complying 34's at the moment. As soon as one gets RAWS approval I would wait a month or two - alot of people are going to get approval, just waiting on the 1st person to get through so they can use alot of their information to pass their own workshop.
  15. Sorry, but this thread get's the unofficial "stupidest thread" for January. I've bitten my tongue for the past few pages but this last post takes the cake.
  16. Keir did 9's with two of these suckers on his R32. Should be enough performance for most people?
  17. Hahaha. The original ad is pretty damn funny, in a cringing George Castanza type way. The chopped ad is hilarious.
  18. 11.1 at low boost speaks alot louder than dyno figures >
  19. I think it's $1000 for unregistered vehicle, and another $1000 for an uninsured vehicle (green slip). At least it was a couple of years ago.
  20. You can run a RWD PFC with low impedance injectors - only need the resitor pack wired in (have got it in my ECR33 - low buck GTR 444cc injectors are used w/std GTR rail). Turns out a hell of a lot cheaper than buying side feed injectors.
  21. Simple. Get a set of verniers or a micrometer and check the pistons and/or the bore. You cannot afford to guesstimate these things - mechanics/engineers especially. I've made the mistake of assuming a size on blocks/pistons, only to find out later I was mistaken, and have ordered the wrong parts etc (some of which could not be returned). Not only cost me money( in the form of parts and time) but precious time that I don't have!
  22. Hi Guys, In an effort to get more than just "street meet" mileage on my car, I've been checking out what classes I would be able to run my ECR33 in. Something that would allow me to be semi-competitive (I really don't want to be the wooden spooner!), be reasonable on the budget (I don't want to re-engineer the car or buy more parts) and allow it to be a street registerable and drivable thing. Checking out the ANDRA website I noticed there was a rulebook for Sport Compacts (silly term the yanks use for imports) with a bunch of new classes and categories. I think there are enough catergories in it to allow from mildly modded cars up to full-chassis beasts - download the guide here (555 K) and see what you think of it. Although VL's will probably have a distinct advantage due to solid rear axle and less weight I still think Skylines will be able to hold their own due to minimum weight breaks. Who would consider running their street car in this series? Sure beats dial-your-own....
  23. Yeah, first name "Malibu".
  24. Roy does good piping! Hand made flanges, rolled edges, fully polished.... teh piping is the most expensive (in man-hours and tools used up to make) part on my car.... and it's not even installed yet!
