  1. Hey, ok so maybe that girl I sold you from Russia was a little over 60, and not 16 like I said. Ok I admit I had some beer goggles on at the time.....
  2. As an example, just went and took a pic of a 2530 I have sitting here...
  3. Uh guys, you might have noticed he has an RB20 or 25 powered car. Odds are on the fact he is using a single turbo setup, which probably has a T3 flange. All of the HKS 25xx series with the T3 flange DO NOT have the custom HKS compressor cover, but use a Garrett cover with the center machined out and an aluminium insert held in by 4 hex screws. The only HKS markings on the T3 range are on the exhaust cover, and on the metal tag on the center catridge. Standard actuators work fine with those turbos too, so no dire need to run a HKS actuator. Just my 2 cents, no need to jump on the bandwagon and drill someone over this...
  4. Hi guys, due to a change in direction in modifying my car I've got an RB26DETT for sale. Came out of a '97 model with 45,000k's on the speedo. Has all the wiring attached including CPU (no AFM's though - can source some if needed). No intercooler or pipework either. Still attached to standard gearbox, haven't even taken the gearbox off to check out the clutch. Everything on this motor is standard and in perfect condition. Asking $7500 or reasonable offer.
  5. Maybe it's total pressure, in which case deduct atmo pressure from the amount. 160Kpa = 1.57 bar less 1 bar = .57 bar = 8.5psi. Heh huge boost. edit: yeah my maths is out but you get teh pic.
  6. There was a purchase price in the initial post for the 2530's. The 2530's advertised here will not bolt on to a standard RB20 exh manifold, there is a Trust TD06-20G setup here that will bolt in. The HKS 2835R will need an adapter plate to work on the std. manifold. And yes they are still available. HKS 2835R: $1800 TD06-20G setup/RB20/25: $3000 TD06-20G setup SR20(includes everything- intercooler, remapped CPU, exhaust to cat, intercooler piping, injectors): $5500
  7. You will probably need to change over to RB26 lifters, and definately need different springs. Stock GT-R springs can only accomodate 9.5mm lift? Pretty big cams for a 2 liter, you'll need to change a host of other things as the power band will be above 9,000rpm - rods and pistons etc...
  8. Despite alot of interest and keen buyers I have yet to take a deposit on the turbos. Until I get the money for them they are still up for sale...
  9. Are there any performance related categories? Or is it a strict show-your-cars only type event? No dyno, burnout, 1/4 mile (heck even 1/8th), motorkana or anything like that? Or japan-drift day style do burnouts around scantily clad women?
  10. If you are needing a single turbo for an SR20 have still got a HKS 2835R, HKS 2540 and a Trust TD06-20G setup to suit.
  11. Amosite, I have to wait on a few things before offering them up for sale. I want to dyno T51R vs twin 3040 vs twin Apex'i before determining which setup i'll keep. But so far looks like the 3040's are a bit big. Steve, I guarantee any parts that come through here. The last thing I want to sell is some faulty goods (it's happened to me a few times and I would rather not pass that experience on to someone else).
  12. There's an old ad over on SDU in the business section with one for ~$2000. You don't generally see them going for sale second hand, but having said that i'll have 2 up for sale in a bit
  13. I've taken a few pics of the rear of a HKS 2835R turbo to suit an SR20 or RB 20/25. They have the same flange pattern as the one fin your first post. Btw thanks for the free plug Edit: Oh the pics are uploaded to the same link in the ad. That 2530 of yours looks like an SR20 one, not an RB20/25 one as the front cover is for the SR's bolt-on inlet tract. The RB20/25's do not have a HKS front cover, rather a Garret one with the front machined out and an aluminium insert bolted into place to accept a hose connecter directly onto it. Will take a pic of a spare RB20/25 one if I can be bothered.
  14. Good stuff, very interested in seeing these turbos go on to an RB26. A whole lot of theory about these turbos, not much real life facts to back it up. Hope they exceed your expectations!
  15. Hi guys, selling a pair of HKS 2530 turbos to suit GT-R. They were on a car for 10,000k's, have no shaft play. Asking $3200. Pics are here. Contact me via PM or email [email protected]. Thanks.
  16. Uhm, not sure about forum rules or ethics but isn't it wise to actually own the item(s) being sold before accepting money for them?
  17. Woa, did you just quote me this out of a textbook? That's Project Management material sir! SCA are the 80 pin honda hotswap connectors used on SCSI drives. There have been a few writeups on ATA/SATA raid configs used in large live environments, given the cost I don't really see the need for SCSI drives anymore... unless you get them at an _extremely_ good price (like free ).
  18. Troy, have a friend over there at the moment. Give me a call you hoho, your phone reception still sucks.
  19. There's an old thread of this motor over on SDU here. As well as a ton of other threads on this car + it's performance. Going by the dyno graph it was on ~1.5bar. Pretty good times though, reminds me of the Pac Performance guys ages ago when they would boost a stock motor and get some good times.... for a run or two. Would be interesting to see what sort of lifespan the driveline would have on a circuit day, of course the power output would be considerably lower considering NOS couldn't be used.
  20. Is the purchase of the new server an actual physical server or just another co-location hosting option? Am able to get SCA drives + other goodies if it's an actual server.
  21. Next year when the car is back on the road.......have to see how it compares vs the Zed as it should have similar mods to it then.
  22. I think you have omitted the nitrous in your parts list there sir!
  23. Roy, if my wheels will fit under your guards more than welcome to use them. There's some satisfaction to be gained by seeing a car 1/5th the price of others whooping them around a track.....
  24. What compound are the pads from? If it's ceramic, then you need the ceramic disks to go with it - are these available as well?
