  1. dkonig: I haven't received a deposit on the 2835R yet, despite some interest. To fit it to an SR20 you need to fit a dump pipe and modify the inlet pipe to accomodate the 100mm front housing. You can get a reducer hose for that. Might need to change the banjo fitting on the oil inlet, the water in/out fit up and the oil return does as well. Raza: The only rating I've seen on Trust turbos was a chart that had the TD06 family between 400 and 450 hp.
  2. Ok, posting this on behalf of a friend. This car is located in Japan and would need to be imported as a race car (recommended) or to be complied under the RAWS scheme. As it's a very late model R32 I doubt you will want to wait another 5 years to bring it under the changing 15 year rule. Extremely modified, has run a best of 10.3 on Japan's crappy drag strips. Will easily break into the 9's with a sequential box, on slicks, or on a decent track. Some of the mods: Trust 87mm pistons Trust H beam rods R34 N1 crankshaft Nismo bearings R34 N1 oilpump Tomei high lift 280 degree cams in and exh Apexi V-Max valve springs Tomei lifters Tomei metal head gasket Ported and polished head Trust plenum Sard 1000cc Injectors Sard fuel regulator Twin fuel pumps HKS T51R SPL BB turbo kit HKS GT-II wastegate HKS twin power ignition HKS F-Con V Pro HKS EVC Pro (new type) Trust 3 layer intercooler Trust oil cooler Trust alloy radiator Full titanium exhaust OS Giken triple plate clutch Trust 6 speed gearbox And a whole lot more... Some pics Serious inquiries only, please email me here for more details. Price is over $45k excluding shipping and compliance, so please don't email me offering $2. As I said I'm doing this on behalf of a friend as well.
  3. Push type = some R32 GTRs, all RB25/20 powered cars.
  4. EVC IV product listing EVC 5 listing Judging by those links what you have/had in your avatar is a 5?
  5. Check out the instructions: here . I'm not any authority on the HKS catalogue, but if there's a publication by them on how to use and install the device and they call it an EVC IV then I guess I will too.....
  6. Ask Roy on the forums, I think he is selling his.
  7. Which model is it? For push or pull clutch? How much wear is on the plates? Are the center plates warped?
  8. Good to read about these buildups, like Steve's 3037, bbenny's 2530 and Rob77's TD06. Really gives some good reading, and shares alot of (expensive) knowledge. There should be a few more project writeups soon, with Roy's new hairdryer, Akira's quest for a decent tune with rice, GTR STI's animal, my brother's and my own street car....and the list goes on.
  9. Skyline33, how can the same turbo be a bolt on for SR20's and RB20/25's since they have a different flange? Unless you have a couple lying around, of course.
  10. Sorry about the late replies, email here is sometimes quicker. Pete, email me cause your box is full. Will go and take some pics now and post them.
  11. To fit those injectors into an R33 RB25 you need to use a top feed fuel rail (modify an RB20 one) and install a resistor pack to use the low impendance injectors. Location is in Sydney, pics can be found here.
  12. Easy! You pay someone $480 to go steal one! Complete cost is only $480, including taxes and shipping (if you go pick him up).

  14. Just going to add that the same turbo bbenny has was on my car, and only did ~194rwkw max. Then again I'm living in the inner west
  15. I think I know where your power is lost... You live in Tamworth! Dyno studies prove that the northern beaches area is worth at least 10% more power. North Sydney ranks highest at 40% more. It's all in the demographics man, all in the demographics...
  16. I've been offered a Greddy pulley set to suit RB25 for ~$500. So I guess that they do exist then.
  17. Woohoo! Kombi racing! I'd pay $150 an hour to see that!
  18. Hey, an ECR33 is a cheaper 2 wheel drifter! Well, from an initial and maintenance price perspective.
  19. I think the object that will max out first it.... Your wallet + credit card
  20. I don't think it is very relevant to post your peak power ratings when discussing tuners. I can arm myself with my trusty seat-o'-the-pants-tuning and lean my car out to produce a great peak power amount, but something tells me that it isn't going to last very long. What about things like part throttle response, trailing throttle, idle quality, fuel economy or any *bad* things like stalling, coughing/spluttering, power dips etc? I know my car ran excessively rich at idle and on trailing throttle, to the extent it would stall if going from ~3,000 rpm to idle (e.g. stopping fast for a red light camera). Put it down to laziness or a concern to run rich to preserve the engine, but it was damn annoying.
  21. What color is it? Does it make the mad turbo sound when you back off?
  22. Top stuff! I saw some racing down in Malmo a few years ago... the bike riders there were some of the craziest people i've seen. Ahh sweden in the summmer - reallys goes off!
  23. What condition do you need the head in? If it's going to get the reco treatment I might be able to help you out.
  24. I've used Rick Shaw Rotary a couple of times, but he can only tune 2WD on his dyno - he has access to a 4WD one but not sure where that is. Price is ~$300. And i've heard good reports of The Hitman . Met him, seems to know his stuff (I think he's been working with Haltech for over 6 years?) but road tuning only. How many points you got on your license? He charges around ~$270. No pretty chart to toss over either. Any others with prices?
  25. Good to see you got it installed... happy with it so far?
