  9. Kel we have had blanks for quite a long time now, Fishpaste has kindly offered to organise reprinting. Myself and Adrian, however, will have nothing to do with the reprints other than distributing the blanks.

  13. Need a charter too, but i think we can learn alot from speaking to our Victorian brothers about the setup, www.sauvic.com.au . Its gonna be a big job, and your going to need a group of dedicated people to get this on its feet.
  14. bout time your back. The whole kit and kaboodle? Membership fees, a committee, etc etc?
  15. the helmet must comply to one or more of the following standards for CAMS use: AS1698 Australian standard Snell SA95, SA2000, SA2005 USA standard SFI Spec 31.1, 31.2, 31.1A, 31.2A USA standard SFI Spec 24.1 - see Note (i)(d) USA standard E22 (with 03, 04 or 05 amendments) European standard BS 6658-85 Type A and A/FR (incl. amendments) British standard 8860-2004 FIA standard so yep, that helmet should be fine.
  16. I think we both live near-ish it, let me know if you wanna go do some investigationing. Thats sad to hear, promise after promise of re-opening has flooded through the ranks to the boards of SAU, and it seems its still a long way from completion. I might garage my Skyline and get it ready for drags so when i have a kid, he can enjoy the AIR re-opening.
  17. CAMS Approved helmets are pretty much any approved motorbike helmets you can buy from reputable shops. You wont need triangles for practice sessions. You get a fair bit of track time for your money, i can't remember how much, i think 30 min sessions? and approximately 5 sessions And Drift and Grip are held on different days, bikes, carts, cars are held on one day, drift is held separately.
  18. Here you go Shane http://www.mallala.com/startyourengines/in...ctions.htm#cars
  19. i dunno, there is some good info in here about picking up or organising postage (hint hint, still got heaps of them). I guess you can lock it, and all questions about pick-up/postage can be directed to either myself or Adrian. I guess when Fishpaste organises those who want reprints done, a new thread can be used.
  20. can everyone chill the f**k out? My god, might as well go back to NS.com. The post whores that everyone constantly relates to (well the ones that i can think of) have always been there at events, either organising or supporting, so saying that they are here to just increase their post count is ludicrous. I can safely say that any of them (us, whatever) would be more than happy to post less if the moderators/administrators thought it would be necessary. As Dan said, im not saying anyone who isn't there at events/meets etc is less of a member, but implying that post whores are on here to just post meaningless drivel 24 hours a day 7 days a week is incorrect.
  21. k, under SLEDs instructions im taking it to the wasteland. So much talk about "why the older members aren't around much anymore" Anyone want to elaborate on that? The SA page is just a minute representation of SAU itself, i dont see how new members have forced them away. I can bet they were new members once too, and probably tried just as hard to fit around the place. And Deluxe mentioned ass sucking, how so? Geez, just imagine what it would be like around here if everyone got along... We might even have a real club. end of rant.
  22. depends how early Ruby wants to get to BP
  23. you mean other than the place listed in the thread? Just Jap or ISC. Support the traders that support the forum that supports you.
