when i took my front QFM HPX off less than 5000k there was a chunk of pad missing right in middle of pad? could this be the culprit on front pad noise i was experiencing?

changed diff oil and gbox today gbox : Castrol VMX-M not vmx80 as per listings on castrol site diff : Castrol LSX 90 i tried to get penrite but repco and supercheap didnt have what i needed in stock so i just used castrol

yes i have and downfall is that it comes in 4L and it is pricey , 8100 is cheaper and car loves it.

they did say there were cracking down , there was a huge setup at smithfield , ch 7 was there and they have a report on monday about it. oh and btw pfc need to go as they will pick up on that ,i think with fuel pump you should be fine and exhaust change to stock

where did you get done? so you actually didn't get a defect but they straight sent you to epa?

nicely said , motul 8100 has been best in my line and i have tried many many diff oils . its always that salesman try to sell you this new "hypo" oil which is better than anything on market lol. motul on other hand has been around for while and if it is good enough for nismo its good for my car as well.

this morning i had enough of noise and went to repco got bendix general and no more noise will update and see how i go when they wear in a little more

im guessing these will lower more than 20mm as what nismo s tune does . do you know how much more over stock ?

xscape you are right we jdm never got revup i think most oil burning is in usa with infinity cars that are build there not jap? most of usa build v35 burn oil form what i can see on that site

i been running QFM HPX all round brand new slotted rotors and they are noisy as well , good brake feel but noise kill it . i have tried everything from bedding in to crc anti squeal stuff you name it , all stock shims are there as well. will be going bendix or oem soon , i just cant put up with noise . does anyone know any ratings on bendix pads? i could not find any on their website
