  2. i checked that and its all good i rechecked every thing that i could think of and basically reinstalled whole system seems all god for now

  4. as per topic i need r33 radiator air guide and carpet for r33 boot (well whole boot pretty much the one that covers battery and fuel pump
  5. maybe rca track fuse if blown on your head unit , it usually happens if amp is grounded badly especially on pioneer units
  6. i would do it every 20 000 k maybe other can suggest at what k's it should be chaged

UPDATE ok i worked it out i think , when i pull out rca at head end still wines. so only connection is speaker wire to amp. when i put one channel of rca for fronts there's no wine but as soon as i hook up second pair for back speakers instant wine so im guessing it the amp , i tested the head units rca and they are fine I dropped the amp to be checked out today , so i will see whats up....i hope
  8. nope i couldn't be bothered with it , i just connected the head unit to speakers and running no amp. unit is not that old so i doubt it would be that . i have re grounded everything battery , head unit , amp , inside engine bay m got new rca leads , moved everything around and no luck so i gave up. amp is about a yr and half old so might be that , i can hear wine heaps once i turn my lights on tho.

  14. thank you for that. i will try all the stuff before i chop the rcas and ground them , im hopping i can get it fixed. which earth wire in engine bay? anyone got a pic?
  15. ok will give a try to some of this stuff tomorrow see how i go the head unit and batt i have done tonight how do you ground rcas outer shield?
  16. i took the head unit out fiddled around a bit lowered noise tiny bit but once i turn my headlights on noise is back. im getting sick of it , i think i will take the amp out and run the system off deck , i only run rears and fronts the whine is killing me hehe
  17. i got a new set of rca yesterday , amp is mtx maybe 6-7mnth old(about 60x4 rms) i took the spare tyre out and there's few points where i sanded paint off and put ground there. battery is standard. did you run your rca and speaker cables together or yours are separate? damn corrupt rca's hehe i might try taking h/u out and checking if any of looms cables are cousing it but i doubt that.
  18. ps. i only notice it heaps in my tweeters ? crossovers are mounted inside door trims
  19. i been trying diff grounds for amp no luck , bit better but noise does not go completely. gets higher when i switch my lights on i also tried relocating leads , only other way i can thing is if i run them thru middle of the car ...take passenger seat out and run rca's throught . i cant ground my rca's , doof that setup is nice thanx for quick reply's boys
  20. nope , only amp turn on wire. i have the amp on 5mm peice of mdf so its not touching the wires or anything. dr doof where have you mounted your amp.?
  21. hey pple i installed my amp in my r33 and wired it on passenger side of car thru to boot and mounter amp on top of fuel pump. i get engine noise thru my speakers. i have searched and i did use quality rca but its still there its driving me insane lol any tips?
