Razor's old car, good buy. regarding rego, as far as I'm aware the only SI rego you can apply for would be race rally, which mean the car has to be set up to cams spec and log booked with a FIA approved cage. then you can drive it to and from events and workshops etc. other than that, ummmmm its a tow job.

getting a bit done to the ol datto at the moment. got half the sound deadener out on saturday, ran out of dry ice. picking some more up 2moro arvo to finish it off. yep I agree, took me a few years to get around to it. Ecu, turbo & injectors etc and wayyyyyyy more important that a FFP. datsuns dont really wake up till you've got a reasonable turbo and supporting gear on there to complete the dish.

I have a nice customized plenum, and Andrew at Pro auto said that cars with almost identical mods without the plenum and TB(Q45) typically made less power, and he said it definatly improved flow. mine has a 35r with a .82r I also run a gizzmo thermal gasket, to stop heat transfer from the head to the plenum, and the plenum stays quite cool. so there are gains to be had, I did it as a sort a package, highmount mani, 35r, plenum, TB etc. shorter piping is always a bonus too. I think I reduced it by a metre all up. and it looks mint =D I wouldn't be tempted by a cheapo job tho, I'm not a chinese hater but its one thing you dont want to fail. pain to get on and off too. I still had to make a throttle cable bracket and also Mod the water temp senor ports as when the plenum was built it was dummied up on a head with no VCT sensor!, 10 hours of fab later lol. was worth it in the end tho.

I rolled mine with a 70mm pipe then gentley smahsed the f**k out of them with my 4pound snap destroyer cold blow hammer. beeeeeeeyaaarrtiiifoool FINE PRINT - YES it took me around 3 hours to then reapir each of them and shape them pissing around with my slapper hammer and various dolley's and contour guages, and then almost a full respray hahaha

he's running a nismo 2 way as far as i'm aware. oil probably came off the good ship, titanic and needs to be released back into the wild
