  1. i'm chasing a 02 sensor. pm me if yours is okay and you havent already sold it. cheers
  2. Just a quick note with the JJR dumps, I purchased a full "hyperflow" i think its called and few years back. $899, dump & front (ALL IN ONE) and cat back. looks great, nice cannon design And the angle it sits is bloody awesome, fitment was really good overall was very very pleased with the bang for buck. note this system has no mufflers. Only last year I chopped my dump (wanted a bend for my new dump i was fabricating) and i noticed where the split/divorce pipe that separates the waste flap gas away from turbine gas flow merges back in around 50cm down, where they had made the whole for it to flow back into down the dump, its 40mm pipe and the bloody hole was oval, jagged and around 32mm in diameter. now i dont suppose this is the end of the world, considering it was on a small low mount setup. but i did have some creep issues. it would always go a few extra psi. i was at the track once and tried to set it to 12 psi but after the run the gauge recall said i had hit 16-17. but the rest off the system is very good. sounds great fitted very well. so just be aware if you buy a split dump cheers
  3. what to you mean blown? exhaust wheel smashed out? seal went, whats symptoms? more details..... I here "my turbo is blown" a fair bit, usually its something else, poor install and/or leaking IC pipe etc
  4. Tas engine reconditioning should be able to help you. a mate of mine works there, he's well educated when its all things RB. matt has a lot of experience with RB's, SR's and the JZ's
  5. the base of your turbine housing bolts the the FLANGE on your manifold. your manifold starts off with a flange, the item that mates agaisnt your head.... if metal flanges remind you of pussy, you are getting some bad pussy.... real bad
  6. I also have hi flowed red top injectors for RB25, mine are 680. i think red tops come out of some 300zx's and KA24 or whatever the 2.4l nissan donk comes in bluebirds and US-spec 240sx's i know the correction will be 54% but unsure of the Latencies. i'm going buy what Uras (trent) said and hope the tuner will deal with it...
  7. are you sure? lol
  8. they certainly do deteriorate. just replaced mine, you can get them from just jap for around 2.20 per stud (genuine nissan studs). After the abuse they see they kinda have a excuse to be old weak rusty and crusty tho!
  9. you still have these dude? a mate is chasing some i'll grab them for him if you still have them. cheers
  10. also, if its a GTR bonnet. its going to be alluminium. repairing an alluminium bonnet is somewhat like prising ur fingernails off with a rusty butter knife
  11. take a pic of the top section of radiator support pannel. I may be able to give you a hand with that. Jack
  12. arrrh rightio thanks for that Trent. i have a 25, pfc, 3540r etc on a xtr manifold 300 odd kw setup. i'm leaning towards mounting it in the merge collector, but how i'mportant is it? i know some cars run them in in the runners around a inch after the head flange in every runner. like the GT autosound s15 off the top of my head, thats with a motec m800 though. does the pfc even measure it? cheers
  13. just looking into the best way to go about this myself. I've seen a few mounted close to the 02 sensor in the dump, but nissan mounts it just before the turbo flange on the rear side of the merging area. so its measuring numbers 4,5 & 6 mostly. I'm thinking I should mount it in my merge collector but dont really know. would like to hear some ideas from people who know more about it... please help tuners and guru's ha cheers
  14. yep that price sounds fair. 2nd the flex joint. just fitted one in mine around 250mm off the turbo 3 in diameter by around 4 inches long. should take a load off the manifold and add a bit more 'give'
  15. not going into the "Pneumatic" Vs Non Pneumatic needle design but i ran a GFB boost controller for around 8 months with no worries at all. never had spiking issues nor creep. both will do the job. Just dont mess round with the turbo tech too much and loose the ball bearing.
  16. i'll take it if its not gone mate. cheers
  17. Same. I got a chance to pick darrens brain at the DA round in tassie in 07' he put up with me for over a hour ha.
  18. haha.. thats right. that is not the car to be getting ideas off. As a budget drifter maybe. that car is packing a chinese greddy copy plenum, chinese turbo, chinese manifold, chinese gate and the engine bay is disgusting. he makes it all work, doesnt mean its a good idea though. for the average punter its not a bright idea to push 370's anywere near that
  19. mmm ive seen a few of the ebay copies first hand. they are pretty average. I'm going to buy one soon and cut it open, weld the pin holes/craters and shitty bits up and clean the runners up and then weld it back together. then get the surfaces machined and maybe putty and paint one. see what the total comes to.. just for science as they come tho they are pretty average. genuine greddy items are very pricey now. and hypertune are great and are also expsensive..(but when you know what goes into them, ie runners, velocity stacks and the billet plenum section they are a work of art and are worth every damn penny. plazaman items also look the biz. high quality stuff and results to back it up i bought a stryder manifold (very simular design to hypertune). couldnt be more impressed. but i had to modify a few things. had to fit throttle cable bracket. and move both water sensors near the top radiator pipe inlet..... bit of mucking about but great product anyway as for the chinese copies mate they are like any other chinese product. Hit and miss buyer beware cheers
  20. i had a very simular setup to what you listed. if you can i highly highly suggest you grab some nismo 555's or sard 550's. i know on some cool winter days under WOT the stocker 370's were reaching dangerous levels. comes down to the tuner as well i know. if you dont grab them now, make sure they are on the top of the shoppping list. and when the power level gets old there will be some safe headroom for the next wizzer.. cheers
  21. i ran mine the same as the guy in the install thread. very easy dude.
  22. on that note. whats it cut out, fuel and spark or just spark. i cant imagine it would just cut out spark... wouldnt it wash the bores out and foul the plug up? or not so?
  23. god damn. the first time i have actually been jelous of another type of ecu over the PFC. sounds like a good idea in theory and id do it just for the funky idle. ricer from wayyy back....
  24. okay, Search for the greddy Style intake manifold intsall thread. because i'm not close to my car to take pics. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/to...+intake+install scroll down and in one of the pictures he joins 2 coolant lines together with a piece of fuel pipe off-cut. now rather than join the coolant line the goes behind the block, just connect it from the turbo to where he joins it up in the photo. i hope you understand... say if you dont! hope this helps
