  1. Re wiring from scratch is where you'll make decent gains. I just striped mine down to the minimum up the the fuse box and I saved about 3kg. Nothing to write home about but better than a kick up the ass. Intrusion bars are 2.5kg, each plus I took some door frame out to help getting the bars out, whick took it up to 3kgs. Lexan and lightweight mirrors netted me just over 6kg saved per door.
  2. and just to touch on the said sump builder, he races a 32 gtst that runs anywhere between 450-600kw's and is one well sorted rig. wet sump, no oil drama's. oh and it revs well beyond 9 also, love this build to death, huge inspiration for my own build. keep up the good work
  3. if these are still available once i have my tax cash i'll snap them up. will they last that long? gawd i hope so lol
  4. Pretty sure I heard it chirp second? Nawt bad! Lol what an exceptional example of a 32, bad ass. Love it
  5. That dash wouldn't be hard to replicate poit. I personally wouldn't give up my factory dash for that, but that's me. To make that in 1-1.6 mm ally sheet would be fairly easy, weekend job tops. Looks to be just satin black, few hole saw bits to match ur gauge sizes etc. looks NASCAR spec
  6. yeah i'll take it out and test the oil pump strength aye brode? muhahaha i've got more chance of getting nicki minaj in the sack
  7. Each I'm assuming? If so that's about right
  8. Love this car. Love love love. And it's inspirational
  9. Castrol edge 10w 60 is exactly what u want in your unopened 25.
  10. bit of a thread revival, pic of 2 gtst's racing here in tas last year at baskerville raceway.. silver one is Pete Nunn's and the red beast in Brad sherriff's car
  11. dont rule out the QFM comp pads, ie Comp 9 and comp 2 etc. A1RM's on a GTR at symmons is a fairly big ask, especially if its standard weight with standed size rotors etc.
  12. For a road car yeah bushes with adjustment is the way to go. For a track car adjustable arms are better more adjustment and rose joints for more rigidity. On a street driven car adjustable bushes will give you enough camber adjustment and will last longer (on the roads) than rose joints/Hiems that are used on adjustable arms
  13. Camber adjust isn't possible via adjustable tops on skylines anyway mate (32's 33's and 34's etc) anyway.
  14. Well 5 kg's just on the doors, don't know about qtrs yet haven't removed old ones and rear screen I busted mine and ditched it months ago, but I 'think' I remember reading that a 33 oem rear screen weighs about 7kgs so all up you'd save between 8-10 kg's depending on what thickness lexan you get. We got 5mm sides 4mm qtrs and rear.
  15. Outer space if the price is good hahaha
  16. Dammit! What about 285/30 or 265/35 18. I feel very unloved and overlooked. Lol will still be curios to see pricing. Was that for c70 comp/softs?
  17. I saw on a list that 18"s were "under development" anyone know if they are selling them yet?
  18. Interesting, I'm going to be in need of something suitable for sprints and hill climbs not too far down the track, Z221 softs and AO50's arnt the easiest to get hold of not to mention at a good price. What sort of coin did they set you back matey? And where from
  19. I wanna see someone go Kevin Harvick on his ass, dump his shitbox on the entry of turn 1 sprint cup style.
  20. Good to hear you enjoyed the drive. Tassie doesn't have a shitload going for it, but some of the roads are top notch.

  23. And don't stop in queenstown, it's a time warp. It's about 1876. Like "deadwood" keep on truckin til strahan, much better. Small but good
  24. Just keep an eye on the weather mate. West coast road is fantastic, east coast is also pretty good. Just beware of the po po on the east coast. There's usually one trolling near the big buckland straight right up to orford. They don't have police on the west coast. It's the wild west.
  25. But if you stop for lunch, do it in strahan. Restraunt there called Hamers, do a pretty fine steak and stock our local premo beer ;-) right on the waterfront
