  1. haha yeah really its not huge coin. not when your already up for a rear screen anyway. its usually about 700 but if we can get two kits at the same time should save a bit on postage, shipping 2 kits compared to one shouldnt make shit all difference so should come in around the 600- maybe 650 tops. I prob wouldnt of bothered if I didnt need any but since I need the rear, kinda a 'may aswell while i'm there' thing lol
  2. its hard Nowelly. I need a new rear screen anyways. And I have spoken to Burgz about getting 2 orders shipped together. should be able to get a rear screen and door screens (and quaters but prob wont use them) in lexan here for 600ish. I was quoted over 300 for an aftermarket rear glass screen.... the door glass is actually kinda heavy. I know the rear isnt. A nice light motorsport battery is def on the cards later in the year after the important stuff is out of the way.
  3. Not too much to update. Last monday I put a new water pump, idler bearing/new Bolt and tensioner bearing on the old girl along with a new gates timing belt. Yesterday arvo I made up my rear wing/boot bracing. very light and holds my weight very easily. I have made up a ally plate that fits nice in the passengers side of the boot to mount the surge tank and pumps/pump mounts to so it goes in and out as one piece. will plaster the rising sun over the tank and plate to mtach the engine =) I'm at a bit of a cross roads with weight atm. I've sorta came a bit of the way and not quite sure where to draw the line. The head unit and 2 door speakers are in question, door intrusion bars along with door glass, might trade it for lexan... I would love to gut the doors and power windows and just have lexan in bare doors but I also want to keep from the B pillars forward in tact. I really want a carbon boot lid and then mount it on pins/latches and do away with the big factory hinges but that will have to wait as the money needs to go on more important stuff ATM Got a ally rear diffuser/air guide planned for the rear. will get that underway in the next few weeks. more to aid airflow than provide any sort of extra dwonforce as ATM air can get trapped in the rear bar/boot floor area. \ cheers
  4. mmm looks like David Hales's old 34. there is an old bloke from the eastern shore that has one also (in that color with same wheels), however i dont think thats the one, I could be wrong. there's not many here so I'd say its gotta be one of the 2. David hales would have paid top dollar for it, he owns about 50% of the clubs/bars in hobart(well close lol) and is a poser so highly doubtful it has seen a hard life whilst he has had it, same deal for the old bloke, have seen it twice in about 5 years pottering up the coast. I'm sure someone would check it out for you matey, maybe even myself next week (if its any help). I'm an Ex panelbeater and have seen a datsun or 2
  5. after buying bilstein shocks, (at 700) HSD sleeves (400ish?), springs THEN ISC tops(400ish), i'm pretty darn trolled to think i could of just bought those for LESS and been better off. so sad right now lol
  6. i reckon if I can get Nowelly on the Aero train he will best Brads 56. who's Brad? the bloke who USED to be awesome and race a red datsun, now MIA
  7. 61.7?
  8. for some reason it wont let me send you a PM matey, facebook it is lol
  9. i have a 25 ecu can prob drop it in somewhere localish 2moro
  10. haha yeah you wont be seeing me sliding into turn one (on purpose, it has happened tho lol) i'm going to really really really try and crack the sub 60 mark. & with over a year to sort the car out if i can't manage that I need a good swift kick up the ass
  11. was pretty trolled my car wasnt done but thats life. Next time, its farking W A R
  12. haha and new rear tyres matey. yep, there has been some looptey loops in her, it was manbearpig. the last thing that i really want before I'm gonna be happy (for awhile anyway) is a good adjustable rear diff. Still, the improvements to the rest of the old girl should make it easier to cope with whats in it.
  13. yeah to be honest mate thats prob all I'll run. I know a few blokes on the mainland making 390ish on nismo 740's at 3 bar, so 1000's will be more than enough. For me anyway! I always think i need more power when i havent driven it in months but usually when i get back in it on the twistes or basky i shit my pants with 17psi/320rwkw's hahaha. touch wood the new suspenion setup and improvments allow me to run more and gain something =)
  14. good to hear. I have got the rears fitted up now too. Yeah same have yet to measure BUT, i'd say ive gone from about 70mm or so in the front to atleast 100. same for me, gained in the rear but wasnt that big of a factor. still havent had a chance to take it for a run and wont for another month or 2 but def worth the $400 or so to do it.
  15. There is a bloke db power I think it is that sells an adaptor and rotor kit, bout 700 delivered to Aus. Mild steel adaptors and 345mm brembo rotors. Does one for 33 gtst, 32 and one for S15 etc.
  16. Nnnnnnnnnoooooowwwwweeelllllllyyyyyy NOWELLY NOWELLY NOWELLY NOWELLY NOWELLY NOWELLY
  17. Well got my floor pans stripped and cleaned up and Brodie got it painted Sunday. Cage is in, seats back in and inner lap harness anchor points mounted into the tunnel with plates etc. ISC strut tops on the bilsteins now, more travel better height adjustment. Still bit left but slowly crossing stuff off the to-do-list. Giving lexan rear screen and door screens serious thought. Not a huge amount to be gained but every bit counts. Also Mr Kuc confirmed ID2000's work with PFC's so that's a bonus E85 won't be too far down the track. AFM will be the only real restriction. Can't wait to get back into the snotter and get out to a SAU day
  18. only got around to fitting the fronts ATM, but much better setup that standard tops, more travel - have yet to measure. very happy so far
  19. all good, answered my own question, bit of WD40 down around the factory bush and away she went. cheers
  20. djr81, quick question mate regarding the ISC strut tops, got mine today, and had a mate spin up some bushes ages ago from your diamensions, 15x10x32. just looked at the tops, before I go bashing away, did you tap the factory ISC 12mm ID bushes out and put yours in? or did yours come 15MM ID and just slipped yours in? cheers mate
  21. I did try to send a PM mate but wouldnt let me, maybe inbox is full. would like some more info on the greddy oil cooler cheers
  22. will be there for a loosky, can't wait. big nowelly is coming with me too =)
  23. That sounds great, touch wood the weather isn't angry then, but both tracks are in very dry area's.
  24. I would recomend getting the aftermarket tops as drj81 mentioned, mine atm is sitting in the garage with the nissan tops, theres stuff all travel, put it this way i didnt even bother testing it, i have had some bushes made up to suit the 10mm bilstein shafts and the ISC tops (15mm) I think dj mentioned this in another thread. cheers
