Hi pplz. I need to buy slotted rotors for my r33 skyline but am unsure what I need. I have fount out that it has r32 brakes on it (an apparent upgrade). With these brake mods I am wondering if the rotors are the same or or they are 32 rotors??? Can anyone assist me in finding out what I need? Thanks, Shaun.

Hi there PPL. I want to put an rb25 rb30 engine in my r33 skyline and I am intalks with someone who can build an engine for me. I have been my head as I am unsure of the pricing. I have just been given a confirmation of $9745 +about $2200 for Apexi power FC and Software. All up I am looking at spending $12,000.... Does this sound right??? Thanks, Shaun.

Hey dude. Just wondering how much the courier costs would be to send the motor to Mount Isa QLD? Is the kilowattage Rear wheel or at engine kilowatts? What sort of clutch should be used? Hey there all. My father and I are now thinking of swapping out the RB25DET in our Skyline and doing one of those conversions with a RB30 and an RB25 head. What sort of bottom end do I need, will a standard RB30 sufice or do I need an RB30 turbo bottom end??? Once I get a modified head, I will get performance cams and gears. Here are my other ideas. -Forged internals, ie: Rods and pistons. -T3/T4 TO4E Turbo. -Top mount Turbo manifold -Boost controller (obviously) -Cams -Gears -Power FC thing....... Is this a piggy back mod for a standard ECU??? That is where my knowledge ends. I would be looking to spend about $5-10K on the engine. I want to by the parts and build it but I will have it professionally tuned. I am looking for more ideas so your ideas will be much appreciated Thanks guys, Shaun.

I am a Trainee...... Trainee computer technician aaahahahahaha. I had ya going. I am a computer techy but I have been aroung cars all my life and my father is a qualified mechanic so nearly all of my knowledge was passed from him. I aint no mechanic but with a little assistance from my dad, I am hoping to build a high performance motor for my skyline. we will do the engine and parts but we will however need to have a pro look at it and do the shyte like dyno tune it and fit electronic bits ie- boost controller, power fc, ect... Anyway, that is me. HI. MY NAME IS SHAUN AND I AM AN ALCOHOLIC...... LOL.

R33silverS2. That pod filter has been replaced with a new filter element. (00)skyline(00). I am not sure of a budget but approx the 10-15K mark. My father and I will be able to do the hard work like fitting parts and possibly rebuilding the engine ourselves as he is a Mechanic. There are not many "experts" in skylines and other jap imports here so we will do the hard yards and we'll have it tuned elsewhere. I was just wondering what the next mod is. the car will be off the road till all the work is done. Thanks guys. Keep the tips coming.

Hey there people. I just recently bought a 1994 R33 Skyline. It has a Big HKS exhaust and a Greddy Intercooler and a HKS pod. I had a bleed valve fitted and it is running at 11psi, punching out 187RWKW. I was just wondering what is next to do to it. I just wanna do it and not have to worry about replacing stuff over and over. I was hoping for about 350-400+ ATW. The car is off the road for some of the work to begin. I am not made of money and I saved for years for this so I am hoping to do the work myself. Can you please help me out. Thanks, Shaun

Hi. I have another question... On my skyline are 18" Volk TE-37s. I want to get them sent away and re-surfaced. I have been told that TE-37s are the first wheels to go missing in transport, is this true??? Where can I get these mags sent to without the worry of not getting them back. Thanks, Shaun.

Hey dude. I dont think it is that heat resistant plastic. I believe that the impellers are made from ceramic (if it is a standard turbo). This can be caused by too much boost and over stressing the turbo. I hope that helps you. Shaun.
