  2. Alot of people have been asking me about the idle hunt issue which I had with this car a while back. It turned out to be the AFM. Had it reconditioned and contact points re-soldered and it has been 100% ever since. Forgot to add to the original post: - I also have white primered OEM side skirts to come with car. Again never got around installing it. - It has a decent enough sound system (2 x 3" 3-ways fronts, 2 x 6x9 rears, running via 1200w 4 channel pioneer amp)
  3. Hi all, For sale is my white r33 Gts-t. Car is in good mechanical condition. It has been sitting in garage 80% of the year and would rather use the money to pay off home. Year: 1997 Colour: White Odo: 137,000km Car is lightly modified with: - Kakimoto Cat back exhaust - Lowered on King Springs - Have brand new E-manage Blue Ecu, never got around installing it. - Also have a set of 18" TSW Venoms with 60%+ tread Cosmetics: - 19" Axis 5 Spoke Wheels - HID Xenons - Dark tint Service History: - Always well looked after - Engine oil changed every 5-6000km with Royal Purple - Gear Oil Changed 3000kms ago with Redline - Front Brake Pads changed 2000kms ago - New tyres fitted 2000kms ago with Kumho KU31s The Bad: A previous owner has attempted to remove a stick from the roof. As a result there is now a patch on the roof. Good thing is that it isn't that noticeable. Got a quote to respray to roof for $330. Please see pics. Asking Price is $8,500 and is priced to sell.   5. hey mate, -Idle problem was the result of bad AFM. Got it reconditioned recently and car is fine. -Took it to a air cond guy and air cond is out of gas. Needs regasing. Not gona sell anyone a shitbox lemon mate =) Previous 2 owners also on SAU they can confirm. Cheers, Way

  8. Hey guys, up for sale is my 1997 R33 Series 2. It has been well treated, maintained, and looked after. I recently bought a house and am in need of cash hence my decision to sell. The car is mechanically A1, and includes the following modifications: 135XXXKM Registered until November 2011 - 3 inch Kakimoto cat back exhaust - Splitfire coilpacks - Turbosmart boost controller and aftermarket boost gauge - Walbro GSS342 fuel pump - Reconditioned OEM AFM - Lowered on Kings Springs - 19" 5 spoke Axis rims - New tyres (KUMHO KU-31) have travelled less than 1000kms on them - Alarm + immobiliser with 2 remotes - Sony head unit + Sony 1000w amp + 4 aftermarket speakers - Dark tint - HID 8000k headlights Car came with a JEM sticker on the roof - previous owner tried to remove it but ended up peeling some of the paint. This has been retouched with touchup paint and there is a picture of it below.   9. So after swapping the TPS as my old one's had it, the car will not idle normally anymore. When car starts up, revs jump to 3000 then back down to 800 and so forth. All I did was take the old TPS off and whack the new one on. I noticed that when I attached the TPS onto the throttle body, the throttle was forced to open up a bit in order for the TPS to screw in (and perhaps the reason the revs are jumping). Has anyone had previous experience with this, or am I missing a calibration step of some sort? Cheers.
  10. ^What he said. Save up a bit more and buy one with a rb25de. Or get a dc2 or something. Guarantee you that would be the most cost efficient way.
