yet another defect thread??????

first try and find a auto club member to get your car slim jim (rod or sheet metal item used to open cars without keys, for locksmiths) second hint to remove door panel easier, take out the seat and park it in the back seat for now. then you can get to the panel screws and plastic points holding on the door panel, sometimes rolling the window down makes it come off easier, then put it up to reinstall and work on lock. I know your going to have to stand on your head a lot but at least you wont destroy the door panel that way dont forget to pop a towel or blanket on the backseat or the steel seat mounts will dig a hole in it????

I spotted it too nugzy..lol no wave also a teal blue r33 in dinga, got a wave two wine r33 near seaford, no wing on one, black bonnet and boot, no waves from either red pinny or similar toyota with 10,000kw ATW and cannon ? in the rain by my house.. drift king nearly took out a stone post box . after mounting the curb twice ? and some blond lady in a camry cut me off on a two lane round about in seaford ,she started off in left lane from a stop, then instantly merged into mine, no signal and and she had 5 people in her car???? had to take action or she would have run me over bushes in the middle.. honked hard core to get her attention, she didnt even look and merged back into her lane , nearly cleaning up another car who thought she was in my lane at that point??? in dry conditions even? then on comm rd in seaford she slammed on her brakes at 70k?.....wait for it!!!........wait!!!!........cause it started pouring rain??????some people are friggan idiots. instant slam on her brakes to go from 70-30k in rain , not standing rain water just drops on the windows....grrrrrrr or the 4x4 truck on my tailpipe in downpour with gale winds at 80k-100k on south rd coming back into dinga nearly pushed me out of the way a few times,, then i noticed he was on the phone to boot,,,, farkn hell , guess i was lucky not to get cleaned up by muppets today rain = jackasses who loose all sense of how to drive???

in that case its not the alarm, but more like the rod to the actuator or lock rod is off or stuck. your going to have to get the door panel off to fix, bastard of a job!!!! will the window go up and down ok? sometimes you can hear it hit a loose rod? either way, look near the back part of the door, the area where the latch is... be prepared to cuss a lot to fix. or take it somewhere if your not so inclined but make sure they dont completely destroy your door panel in the process. see if anyone can slimjim the door open if you can? (metal bar that opens the door , lock smith and auto clubs and crims have them) I would bet your car alarm went off do to someone using it on your car and knocking the rod off the lock????? sorry to hear but at least your car didnt get taken

could be a few things, actuator dead?, blown fuse?, stuffed relay or faulty wiring?, a rod dropped off lock? the lock might be pried inside which might have dropped the rod to open the lock bar? hard to diagnose online, does a key open it? did the alarm open the door lock before? do you hear any attempted movement in the door when you try to unlock it? is the other door on the alarm or opened with a key? does it open from inside handle manually? is there a brand on the remote? you could just weld up the doors and roll down the windows, entry thru windows,"dukes of hazard" style ...lol????

just gluing carbon down? the heat in oz , it wont hold up very well and threads will move or snag. and no pretreatment of plastic parts by sanding or opening up the plastic pores with primer, it wont last but doing real fiber/epoxy will with UV stabilizers to stop clouding in sunlight(oxidizing like paint jobs only quicker) Yes, Im doing a extensive list of carbon parts. a complete carbon fiber boot interior/Ice install with carbon,lexan, fiberglass sub box modified wing with carbon parts GTR Vspec 2 style undertrays front lip and front undertray lower door panels and tweeter horns all vents,and many dash parts cover in it. nearly done now battery tray and cover cams covers timing covers covering the strut bar pod filter cover with snorkels radiator shroud air plate between bar and radiator to cover headlights and direct air and last but not least, side skirts.....and a NACA bonnet scoop if its not defectable in adelaide to a vent steel bonnet, still checking on that one some will be covered, some molded, and some original parts created you can buy the carbon from www.fgi.com.au but be prepared its really expensive and a simple process to make nice looking parts. it takes time to get the parts looking tops carbon can run $90-110 per meter same weight/size fiberglass is less then $10 and resin , mold release, colour for resin if needed, wax in styrene ,etc cost a small fortune near $500 in supplies just to build a sub box to fit under my rear deck for a 12" photos will come in the next week or so , depending on weather (drying time) and time to complete but looks so cool and lightweight.strong

Tafe cert 3 is a waste, Ben and I had this discussion a few weeks ago,,, the IT market in Adelaide is saturated which drives the pay down, but hey if you want a job, EDS helpdesk will hire you... they will hire anyone with a heartbeat and can turn on a PC..lol get a real IT certificate as Ben mentioned and experience if you want a good IT job, after a long time in the industry I've seen it really good and bad times. if your planning on multimedia you should have done it now,, but dont expect to get a job in town Damo , the market for that is dead flat and declining fast ,, unless you can" HAND "code flash AS ,silverlight,CSS, Java, etc you wont find anything here. even the goverment outlook predictions are in decline. most workand decent pay for that is in the East states. if you havent noticed "everyone" is in IT..lol but unless you have a lot of experience and manufacture cert. you wont make a decent wage in town. lots of people make more waiting on tables then IT. and wanna be mutimedia authors are plentiful. a few good jobs exist in IT, mostly working out on military projects in the dirty north. too many kids will work in IT for 25k in this town..lol when before they would command 45k + which is still lousy pay for how much you have to know better off to be a plumber, electrical,geo eng. cop, lawyer, anything medical

do they have series 2 R34 GTT 5spd white with blue letters ??? or OLED faces ? I see them on the website but not sure if they make them for skylines ??? not sure if there different but heard the thickness might be ? from a supplier on ebay for LED lights.sells on here too. changed mine to the LEDS already and looks heaps better but with white gauges and blue leds it looks like the needles float in space . interested when I get the KRUDD stimulus money

agree the rear speakers are for fill if you want it to sound good ???, unless you run 5.1 dolby you dont need separates out back.R34 are too small inside to need rear speakers in most cases. I have some 6.5 alpine coax in the rear and separates up front , but if you insist you can fit tweeters under the grills on the rear deck, just be creative and you might need to remove the housings to fit flat under grills. money better spent on good fronts with proper sealing around and behind them, Dyno mat in doors or similar.

bought plans for one of these Porsche 914 Chalon kits back about 15 years ago only a wide body V8 model,,, Had one flog me into submission on the race track once when I ran my RX7 and 1200,, so bloody fast and handled really well for a rear engine v8, and cheap to buy back then, looked hot with lambo wing on it, no roof targa series 1 R34 didnt come with 206kw stock, only S2 The new Neo engine has a considerable torque improvement; 343nm is now achieved at 3200rpm the previous nissan skyline had a maximum of 295NM at 4800RPM, outright power was also improved to 206kw. Changes to the engine included a new NEO head which contains solid lifters and revised variable valve timing A slightly larger exhaust housing on the turbo is used to improve flow, and the compressor wheel is now made of Nylon to reduce lag. A larger side mounted intercooler but I like corners, and decent power. and a good stereo...lol if I wanted a race car it wouldnt be a skyline GTT for my first choice..lol

hey that sounds like my car,,lol those mods on a series 2 car produce a bit more then 200kw..more like 230 -250kw.. they use better cams , hi torque models and start off life with 206kw , way more low end torque that you can feel . i know of a car just like mine , same mods only a tiptronic GTT S2 that dyno'd at 245kw on good fuel..might dyno mine someday for giggles.

the 5spd R34 box wont handle the power, the torque will strip off the gears quick smart or brake a shaft. dynos maybe ok, but one drag launch kiss it good bye if you have traction ? if it doesnt break the half shaft will or drive shaft...drag racing kills parts, its a $$$$ option to drag a skyline with audio gear in it aluminum flywheels kill your low end grunt feel, I had one for 11 years. good for track days, good punch out of corners , lousy for street duty or stoplights on hills..lol add a 3 plate clutch makes it worse,, on or off only? chro molly is a better choice . Im not a holden freak but Im semi sure they run a Getrag 6 spd box, same as a supra TT and vette.. much much better box then the 5spd, way stronger are you running overdriven supercharger, underdriven or stock ? on a side stupid me trick.... I dumped raw steak blood into my silverware drawer by accident tonight,, DAMN IT gotta wash the whole lot again.. stop laughing so hard..lol

mine is like that too, so stiff the car can be rocked on driveways,picks up the rear tire and opposite front one..looks funny as hell, R34 is a stiff chassis to start with. then the nismo LSD locks up in flight.. light throttle or it gets interesting to say the least jack it up on one corner the whole car lifts up.. not sure the spring weights but its insane stiff,, feels like a go cart, fun on smooth roads , lame on SA roads

hey stiff is good,, for some things.lol but mine is too stiff, shocks you perves..lol, going to raise it up some and loose the ride up, its like driving on the stops,,, hard , cant get traction on rough adelaide roads at all. annoying to drive on south road bumps near me. Newish Bilstiens on mine

adelaide trains,, took them to work for years. the short of it.. they suck. overcrowded , falling apart, criminal transport to other areas of town. and I dont know how many times I was stuck for hours on broken trains to noarlunga station. on hot days always too, train ran out of fuel ????WTF most of this happens in christies downs area, ghetto of the south tv's thrown off cliffs at us , rocks, shopping carts dropped on tracks. kids hiding under loading points for graffiti runs. burning trash on tracks . some nasty people on and around trains at all hours. SMELLY people who dont shower for weeks. arm pit rot or worse seats with god knows what spilled on them. seat hogs who need to take everything they own on rush hour trains ? why noisy kids leaping between seats by the dozens. and my car broken into at station for 4 bucks in loose change in drink holder. (revenge is sweet they sliced up they're arm bad ,, blood trail to train station was massive) paying for decent parking near theatre to work in the CBD = massive fail oh forgot the people who smoke rollies right outside the doors, then sit near you for hour ride,, joy!!!! you wont find me on public transport ever again !!! if you do shoot me, for not remembering how fun it is. at least you have public transport that sorta works,, try it in usa ?????fail public transport = sheep to slaughter

yeah my mate had a 280z with a 70 cast iron LT1 vette engine in it, but his was low budget rust bucket. Id like a new alloy vette engine in one more fiberglass then steel model, old dattos rust too easy lol and the short rear end 240z just loves to be sideways on every corner with that much torque

yeah they rocked up at BP on beach rd, and behind the bice oval area, up and down beach rd too. about 6 in less then 5 min.(maybe they smelled fresh doughnuts and coffee..lol?) and one mobile radar on marked car heading out on patrol towards expressway about 1pm. I see the mobile radar every friday on a few cars in the south . marked and not.
