Carbon 34

my GTT R34 gets about 400k - 650k depending on how much traffic caining I give it, this last tank went fast 460k, seems the fuel was lower quality or something, not more driving. soft power and a bit of fussiness on idle. even with NOS octane booster in it. I'm pushing about 230-250kw and use all synthetic oils in everything and clean the injectors often and run octane boost (98 octane BP + NOS boost)monthly or more for runs too much idling chews it up too. just got new tires so see if that helps. bet its your AFM running rich,O2 sensor failing? clogged airfilter ? have you checked your tire pressures it makes a huge difference on mine ? and if I run with traction control off It must remap the computer for more power or something, blows thru fuel when its off? or maybe my driving style changes to a maniac..lol has anyone dyno run on and off to see if it does?

spotted what I think was JACK 88 in seaford. on south rd, I was to busy cussing the trucks blocking up both lanes to wave..lol spotted aberax R33 and his boss's stag, as well as a silver stag near maccas noarlunga. a nice RX8 in bayside blue or similar aftermarket paint and bronze volks near the cop shop at christies beach, looked nice with colours like that.. and a undercover cop/detective wearing what looked like a bright red or hot pink flowered shirt and magnum PI sunnies..lol who needs cop logos when your shirt is that loud..lol

The whole dash equipment including the screen is being redone with 7"widescreen format lcd, dvd, cd player , and the antenna is bypassed already, I have a hidden amplified model until i find a nice tiny shark fin off a wrecked BMW or ?, diversity antenna from nissan are crapola, even when new. the carbon fiber/plexi sub box is going to be installed behind the seat and ported thru the rear deck , just trying to clean up the area as much as possible so i dont loose any boot space. redoing since the car is going into car shows and sound offs now. figured the center one was the sat nav, judging from the connectors on it just wanted to confirm it. not removing it so much as just moving it, some cars have built in rollover devices that if moved shut the engine down, cause it thinks the car has rolled over, they hide them in the boot area. so I didnt want to move the computer if it does something like that, or ? I have the r34 wiring diagrams but they need to be blown up to read, tiny as hell writing. it takes me less then 5 min to strip out the whole back seat, side panels and rear deck area on my skyline, ..lol so not too much work to gut the computers out of there spot.. and park them under the rear seat or behind a side panel..lol coupe model my dvd controls and a/c is different then yours, S2 car made in 9-2000 , so more a 2001 model year car.. thanks for your input mate, just confirms my suss cheers

beware some/lots car polish isnt good for plastics, some oil or silicone based can turn them yellow faster ????? if you want it done right, use aircraft windscreen polish found at just about any airport. the headlights are not normal plexiglass plastic but high impact lexan like plane windows I used Megs M105 on my R34/Supra to get out scratches and haze then Megs plastic polish to tidy up the shine a bit.no sandpaper needed perfect like new and they stay that way now for over a years while stored outdoors in salt(a few houses from beach), Adelaide sun for the cost of new headlights, I wouldnt use shonky products or cheap sandpaper either.

R34 chrissy today,, 4 brand new shiny RDA slotted rotors just rocked up...WOOT WOOT just in time, the front factory ones are cracked to hell..lol

I have a series 2 , 2000 GTT and the computers in the boot are in my way, can anyone tell me what they go to ? before I spend a while looking at wiring diagrams? need to move them for audio install if possible? PS the car has jap sat/nav/tv as well cheers

mine fit just fine on the little triangles on the door near mirror R34 GTT, molding mine in carbon horns end of next week, photos posted up later on they can fit in windshield posts as well of you ditch the housings, air vents(not blocking air either), door panels behind cloth trims, pull handles,or a few dozen other spots depending on the level of installers knowledge. and cost to do a trick install ??? for some installs you ditch the housings and might trim off the tabs a bit with dremel, only do if your a pro or confident installer?

Oh bet that was fun sad day when i sold my RX7 to my mate, he had 4 RX7 in his day, only to see him destroy the body kit in a week, bend the rims, and lock up the new motor by not putting oil in it.. he sold it to a wreckers for next to nothing before letting me buy it back,, it had at least 20k in racing parts on it still, stupid tool, we dont talk anymore.lol all this talk makes me need a race car toy again..lol damn you guys!!!!corrupting me

I love RX7 had more then a few of them, I had 13 in my time (I bought wrecked ones to sell off for cash after body kitted and tricked out had a dealers license from mazda USA).. including two 1981 RX7 races cars, one full tilt body kitted ,tube frame beast built my Racing beat in California. one car with full cage I drove for 11 yrs , 500,000 MILES on it not K's on factory tranny, and LSD. only blew a rotors seal after 400,000miles racing a 427 AC cobra. car still ran on 1 rotor but no power. always used mobil 1 and redline oils in tranny every 3k...never left me stranded !!!! unlike so many other cars one with a 12A Bridge port motor.. lots and lots of rpm and noise from hell 300hp, NA if I was building a low cost drift car, hands down it would be a RX7 due to the caining they can take and handle great, dont need a turbo to be fast in RX7, they just go even faster with turbs..lol in USA RX7 are cheap as hell, why are they so much here???? I dont think the cops here would like the noise of a bridgeport motor at 13k..lol crotch rocket from hell noise..lol

Spotted a white R33 on beach rd. and white R33 "up on blocks",, at abes place..lol mate if you get stuck I can bring over my floor jacks and stands to try to look at the rear brakes with both wheels up better to see up higher? let me know!!!

he has one now!!!!!!, cleaning "dog" outta his car..lol Vu , I take my car down to the sand all the time,, just never ever pull off the hard pack, and put the back wheels on hard sand always.?? and never park to close to the surf, the rogue waves come up every few hours. enough to make your car a boat..lol at high tide stay off unless you drive a 4x4 Silversands and Aldinga is shallow and the tide comes up fast so dont venture far from the ramps in a car, just park on the side of the ramp at high tide.don't drive in the waves either..lol and rinse it off afterwards if you get bogged use a few handfuls of dead seaweed under the wheels , works a treat..lol (bogged my old VT commo at silversands fishing one day...lol)
