the white one looks better for daily use. minus the front lower bar. but both are going to get defected for mods if the cops check your engine bay . the red one , has a look at me I'm defectable engine bay, with the intake and turbo manifold. the white one has a vented to the atmosphere catch can, defect!! and the loose lines by pod stand out bad. the twin plate clutch , yep they rattle sometimes at the lights, more for racing on and off use, not really necessary for that amount of power, unless you plan on caning it on the track, cause its not legal to cane on the street ? have you looked at any others? in that price range you can get a nice one without a bunch of shady mods or do you want the power beast?(silly me, we all want the power just not the defect sticker ..lol ) and have you checked your insurance yet? you might get a nasty surprise $$$$$

lol no its paying out huntfield heights, the slums lands of the south..lol crime central, or as some call it. deep south elizabeth..lol... every night was a new crime wave there....its really bad. and ask devine how many houses near you are housing trust in huntfield, last time i looked it was 12 in a small area? , they set aside a bunch mixed with the new houses for the trust and we know what kind of people they can bring in on that plan, not always bad people just the never ending people in people out every 6-12 months. hurts the house resale ??? oh and the area you spoke of has the sewage ponds smell on hot days wafting thru your windows.. Aldinga is nice, but you want really fresh air and silence with some great fishing on your door step Sellicks beach is better. and cheaper too. but one thing to watch out for is they have a lack of sewage connection in sellicks,make sure in the contract you have a 100% assurance of drainage into the mains. caused a bit of grief last winter on new home buyers who signed up then couldnt get mains sewage. septics suck...lol dont hold your breath with the trainline, the delays and costs are huge..but the house value is stable right now down here. the best thing is the quality of living , clean air, views, beach, nice people still, it seems far from everywhere but really its worth every penny of extra fuel to come home to the beach. it only takes a extra 4 min to go to sellicks from aldinga I timed it on south road and 7-10 from seaford, 45min to a hour into the city by car at good times.. and they do have plans for more shops etc in aldinga. the draw back is the trucks on south road driving erradic speeds makes me crazy. bumpy roads of disrepair never getting fixed.(slowly getting better now) and the lack of forward planning in the south , jobs, roads, infrastructure is bad. oh and it does get windy here a lot.. but most of the time its much nicer then in the city temp. wise. and the traffic is going to get worse with the announcement of 1300 new homes in seaford rise, near the bridge on south road heading past the dump. in sellicks you will be closer to the beach, then aldinga. unless you move into the older houses. and sellicks isnt has flat as aldinga so the views are better. plus most of the new house buyers are younger so finding mates in your age group will be easier ? most of us oldies live on or near the esplinade now..lol lucky to live here, in USA you would pay many millions to live this close to a good beach.

Also agree with above, and also check the boost solenoid, you might have to go on a witch hunt with a bottle of water in a sprayer to find vacuum leaks. spray it around in a pattern to your madness with the engine running at idle, if you find a leak the speed will flutter for a second, not harm to engine to suck in a tiny amount of water. just try to keep it out of electronics and connections and dont stick your fingers or neck ties in moving parts mate...lol Good to hear the fan is fixed up , cheap!!! and the brakes , man was that fluid dirty..lol the pulleys on the a/c wont lock up unless the a/c is on, the a/c has enough pressure to kick the clutch in(they use a hi pressure switch and low pressure one too)clutch is located on the front of the compressor. common for them to leak on the top of pipe connections O ring seals or on the shaft if left sitting too long without use. got my R31 compressor fixed up in Lonsdale by a place on Osulleys beach rd. pretty cheap and working still after 7 years now.. but cant recall the name, close to Rob prime on the other side of the street have it dye tested before paying for the regas, . the condenser is also a problem on skylines, can you see in the top of the little glass on the condenser for bubbles or gas moving by ? if your car has climate control set for the lowest temp, mine is 18 and see if the clutch locks up on the A/C ,you will feel it click loud and drop the revs for a second if it works. even if it wont blow cold. if it locks up , have it checked out and regas'd

unless you know what your doing I wouldnt mess with a diff,insides the slightest error and it will fail when you punch it. the measuring is critical and it takes special tools to set them up. to measure runout and tooth patterns. the gear set will walk out of the case, had a mate rebuild his chevy truck diff with locker, I blew it up one night in the rain.. shot the gear right out of the case and I was barely moving.and that was with skinny tires and less power then a skyline has. my diff sounds like crap too. but mines under warranty still...lol

I built with devine 3 years ago in Aldinga, cause they had all inclusive deals. well my experience was mixed, say no to there financing , too expensive keep an eye on the build process, ride them hard or they get slack ass, make sure you have every little detail signed off, they farked up the blueprints with the wrong buyer, the wrong plans twice. but in the long run there is nothing like a fresh clean house. and I got more in the long run, first house in oz stay away from HARLEM HEIGHTS..lol its horrrible everywhere. you can polish a turd forever but it still stinks, crime central I lived there behind shutters for 3 years,, never again!!!! Sellicks beach is a great place with better resale value and fresh air. the beach kicks ass, even 2 k inland you can hear the waves at night.. priceless I'm looking at Sellicks now. Aldinga is nice but now I sold my place for a huge profit and you can get one in sellicks right on the water still,, very nice.. wins hands down. Devine is ok, but haggle they will come down or throw in stuff. hot over 40k worth of stuff free. on top of upgrades for free. really mopst builders are only as good as the workers, go buy them some beer now and then , it greases the wheels a bit...lol

Most of the R34 GTT come from the factory with LSD in the later years are you sure its really locked ?. mine does the same thing , sounds wonky and most of these cars dont work well with more then two people in them.to much weight over rear end check your diff oil, it might need changing ? and make sure you use the right kinda oil in it, or the LSD will fail. mine makes a heap of racket but checked out ok.

thanks damo, PSI has pretty decent prices, but the lip I was making is actually a complete multi piece undertray vented to the radiator and real brake cooling vents, oil cooler vents. but hey if I can get a decent lip already built then add the rest afterwards on thats cool too. save me lots of time so many projects , so little time ..lol

using dielectric silicone wont fix a dead coil pack but will keep a misfire from occurring from arcing to the head or other voltage leaks , I had a dead coilpack so replaced them all instead the splitfires use a higher saturation voltage then OEM to achieve the kw power increase, also keeps the plugs from fouling but will wear the electrodes faster too.its not heaps more power but enought to feel in the seat of your pants , maybe a few KW tops but the drivability is better sorry didnt read the thread close enough, thought it was a GTR motor. mines a RB25DET NEO for the record. call Sinergy and speak to Rocco to see if he has your coilpacks before driving out just to be safe. they stocked mine. and a few others. NS, ETC.

thanks damo, I might cut some cardboard out to test it on a few R34 cars to see if the arc to the fender is the same before making molds for mine , be nice if it fit any other years or front ends ? the model year Aug 2000-2001 uses a lot different front bar. hence the series 2 GTT plus a few other goodies too. and your right the fiberglass backing with a pretty layer of carbon on the front part. nice!!!! then i would need some side skirts and a rear under car pan to match and a carbon wing....lol then it would match the carbon dash parts i have...

got my splitfires from sinergy they keep them in stock, cost about 500 for all , cheaper then OEM and the car runs heaps better, no misfires , smoother idle. seems like more pull to redline now, sputtered a bit before around 6500. money well spent. no idea on injectors but ultrasonic clean stock GTR items might be the go ?

spotted way to many cars today to list on my way to and from Gawler and ingle farm today. but two come to mind one yellow r34 with a complete body kit, bonnet too, at the dyno on south road by Castle plaza ?,a really hot chick in garage kept my attention more then the car..lol but the car looked like the one Bitz uses in the ad for ADR bonnets ? sweet looking for yellow R34 and i followed down o hall hill and pulled up next to a real nice R34 GTR V SPEC II with some bad ass wheel on it. in bayside blue. but to tell the truth the two guys in it were arrogant tools, I pulled up to say hello and waved. they just fobbed me off like a GTT was a magna shit box not Skyline, he kept boosting near me, but acted like a tool? and up himself. if your on here sorry but you gave off a bad impression of yourself. and you drive erratic , wont be long before the R34 is in the trees the way you drive.
