Be careful heat guns will bubble paint up if left to long in one spot?, and if u had metho or other thinners vapours or rags out or around they could catch fire or explode ? most of those burn almost clear so it will be to late if they catch fire? just the safety hint to those reading this?... a rag soaked in wax and grease and held up on the glue will remove it , its the same stuff the body shops use on trim, etc to clean off glue mess.

found a torrent for it from USA but I dont condone illegal downloads ..lol, I guess after the show the sales of GTR's skyrocketed in states and the skyline is now half of Nissans yearly revenue ? who would have thought ..lol maybe they should take over the Holden or Mitsu plant and build them here...lol (as long as we dont loose jobs of course) Now we need the new Supra,Honda NSX, RX8

http://natgeotv.com.au/Programmes/Main.aspx?Id=1121 Inside SupercarNissan’s iconic GT-R, Japan’s hit car from the 60s to the 80s, is re-launched at the Tokyo Motor Show for international sales. '' there is a company who produces ADR compliant bonnets in OZ. and mine will be painted white to match the car not left black. regency can get stuffed. lol its like a toll road for imports , keep the volume up for filling the accounts of the state ? for those of you who have been thru regency is there a que of holdens, fords, and other cars or is it just imported cars? I spoke to them on my RZ supra and i got 4 different answers from rego, cops and regency inspectors. its a joke and thats a car thats been in OZ for a while in QLD. pretty much have to changes everything on the car to pass from what they told me.. but somehow they missed my R34 not even having a seat belt mounted on the passenger seat when it was complied in january? hmmmm safety inspection at its finest ?. proves the money pit syndrome...lol

traditional black car bra's stuff your paint, get moldy under the lining, and abrasives rub on the seams. my old rx 7 came with one. had to repaint the car to fix the marks it left , in some spots it rubbed down to the metal under the paint. you can get a 3M clear bra or similar , ask a window tinting place? they do them, its like clear window tint and doesnt show much until its chipped a lot. and in most cases the paint is perfect under it when you take it off to sell the car or redo it ? just make sure they have a warranty to protect the bra from yellowing over time. stuff is like thick clear tint and molded to fit any car without bubbles or scratches. like shrink wrap for the car its a option but nothing can protect you on back roads when cars pass you . only help a bit. in my case im not paying to repair my bonnet chips and dents, im ditching it for a carbon fiber one. lots cheaper, lighter, and vented to aid cooling

DO NOT USE A BLADE ON YOUR PAINT !!!!! no matter how careful you are its going to stuff it up or spirits, metho, laq thinnner , which can soften the paint or dull it bad. use a rag soaked in wax and grease remover, it works a treat to remove the stickers and sticky stuff left. and yes when done wash the car/truck and rewax it , cause the remover strips off the wax. this product wont destroy the paint like other stuff, UNLESS your removing graffitti from a spray can , which it work for as well. but factory or a proper paint job it wont harm the paint. but just take your time and keep the area soaked if possible, the sticker will come off no worries. just be careful around some plastics, like the black moldings. it may affect some of them if left on for too long. wont hurt plastic bumpers and watch out , it can dry out your skin , some people are sensitive to getting it on them. so you might want rubber gloves and good ventilation.

Mate ,Not trying to stir the pot, just try to help out fellow SAU before they make the same mistakes "we all do as kids with cheap car products or a buffer". I'll just let my shiny daily driven car do the talking in the future. my advice , any 20 buck wax is better then no wax at all..lol and like damo said ,if your in doubt ask a pro with a proven track record with before and after photos. and insurance to cover your ride if they stuff it up.!! it does happen !!!! end of my comments on this thread.
