just downloaded the new fast and furious preview off torrent, looks pretty cool there hijacking fuel trains worth 1.4 mill. and all the good original people are back in , good old Vin and the hot chicks. and the charger with the supercharger hanging out of the bonnet. and Blue R34 GTR etc. wish it was out now, instead of 2009,,,grrrrr that should be a mandatory club event...lol

spotted a met grey r33 next to me at moana beach today, i would have talked to you but i also spotted a nasty drunken bitch in my front seat arguing with me..my wife. somehow she hates skylines now,, even though she has a r31skyline... guess its the booze talking... bitch ok back to it, also spotted a really nice looking white r34 with black wheels at moana. kinda like mine only black wheels ? and a yellow r33 at autobarn noarlunga about 5pm after dropping off the bitch in my front seat...lol

sorry to here u didnt find it mate, the squirt bottle trick works to find the o ring issues on the injectors, the mist of water cause the cyl to miss fire and you can hear it in the idle easy. same thing for leaking vacuum lines and gaskets. what colour was the smoke ? did u notice i described the types of smoke and main causes for them earlier in the posts? working on race cars for years i know a little bit about them....lol more then i care to sometimes...lol but since i didnt win the lotto i have to wrench my own cars except warranty stuff. good luck mate

i bought my R34 from Sinergy motorsports /Rocco but i have mixed feelings about the place. Rocco is pretty good but the other guys are a bit anal. but my car is pretty clean, grade 4 car i would say. dont buy a 34 without an airbags, it wont pass regency and will cost heaps to get one for it. plus might have been wrecked in Japan

yeah little bastards took off i didnt' realize what they did at first. by that time they were long gone, and they were out of camera range from the petrol station. if was at seaford mobil near HJ. new valve caps are on with a wrench now...lol this is my daily driver, i bought a Jet black 93 RZ Supra with 97 VVTI TWIN TURBO for my weekend car but its up at Millinium motors in QLD still getting some more toys ...lol i shouldnt have to drive a sled to keep it from being screwed with. had a VT COMMY R8 kit up , same problems doesnt matter if u drive a shot box, i had a old pintara , looked tough but it wasnt.. they broke into it at noarlunga to steal 4 buck in change out of console, but paid the price judging from the amout of blood they left..from parking lot to train station.. serves them right..assholes- 500 buck car but it drifted good at slow speed ..lol wife has a R31 and we went to pizza hut across from christies beach police station, i went in to get pizza she waited in the car. i heard the panic alarm go off, 3 10yr old kids were in the car trying to jack it with her in it about 9pm at night with people everywhere.. little shits , went to the cops, they said so what do you want us to do , waste of time telling them on both cases --- lucky it had anti carjacking alarm they ran when i came out back came back later. her poor skyline looks like hell, so many parking lot hits the front and rear bumper are stuffed and a hole from towbar in front bar.. its our go to the pub car...lol drunks bounce off it lots i would say...lol and no she doesnt touch my R34,, good thing ...lol yeah compton isnt a very nice place at all, my tricked out tube chassis RX7 was like the pied piper , they followed it lots to try for it but my ex wife who lived there informed the little kids/crips that i had two AK47 and wouldnt hesitate to use it on there ass.. from then on they didnt come near it...lol and had a guy jacked a few cars from me when he tried to get my Mitsu VR4 i hit the car jacker alarm he took off, they caught his ass about 4 hrs later,, pretty cool to see him taken down on the news from the news helecopter...lol had another attempt at carjacking it in denver, had 4 blacks pull uzi from under a towel in the back window of a caddy in front of me one night i slammed it thru the dirt onto the hiway and floored it, they chased me at over 130mph in the emergency lane but the RX7 was too fast for them to catch in the caddy. lost them after hitting top speed 167mph for a few miles then called the cops who said they had to followup with rego but doubted the caddy belonged to them anyway.. pretty freaky suprised they didnt fire at me ..lol they really wanted the car bad. but i bet they would have just shot me and took the car anyway, worth running !!!

i agree have you tried this trick, i think both of us think your AFM is confused...lol Damo black smoke is too much fuel or fuel ratio stuffed white is blown head gasket=water in combustion or even a bad seal in a water cooled turbo Blue is oil in combustion process, turbo seal, rings, valves, or even headgaskets if blown in the right spot

well it does sound like your leaking air, if its on the wrong side of the AFM it can do lots of bad things, like put in too much fuel. the AFM is really easy to break. and if you have a oiled pod the oil can foul the little wire inside it, and cause havok. if you took out the mesh in afm i suss you might have accidentaly hit the wire. have you looked inside the AFM to see if its still ok? really fine wire you might need a torch to see it. one thing you might try is a squirt bottle full of soapy water , if the car runs spray it around the gaskets/joints while idling, you will notice the engine will fluctuate in RPM or die if you hit a leak, just dont spray it into anything electrical or spark plugs or AFM intake. the soapy water will sometimes blow bubbles when it finds air leaking . a vacuum cleaner hose is good to hear air leaks as well, just hold it to your ear and move it carefully around the bay when u hit the leak it will be loud as. the fuel pressure regulator has a vacumm type hose on it if you pinch it with your fingers slightly when running the engine should change the idle speed a bit. (not sure about your regulator model) are you sure the cross over on the throttle body is sealed up good with clamps, if not that can cause your symtoms is the smoke black or blue, white? i thought you said black. does the motor sound like its miss firing at idle or 3-4k? if its a vacuum leak it normally runs fast or slow on idle unless its in one of the power curcuits or AFM what part of town do you live in im off work this week and if it south i can pop over for a look ? let me know cheers hope u get it sorted

black smoke means you have a fuel problem, like too much of it. or a vacuum leak stuffing up the air fuel ratio. could be a hose loose , a fuel regulator stuffed(pretty common on the older skylines) or even a jammed fuel injector, leaking fuel into cyl. are u sure you didnt forget to plug in a vacuum line or maybe crimped it somehow? does it run at higher rpm out of gear or stumble bad? under load does it run good or stumble bad? kinda hard to troubleshoot without see it in person but hope this helps the hunt

My whinge ...lol Coming from USA where there is very few rules being enforced on hot cars running the streets, mainly due to the fact most are built with care and with proper parts for the car. and cops dont have time to hassle you unless your doing something really wrong, speeding ,reckless driving,drink driving, etc. the only thing they really hassle you for is cars with broken windscreens,bald tires,no lights, window tint thats too dark(for the cops own safety of being shot in the face on stopping you) so coming to SA and its backwards thinking ,cops with too much time on there hands , really since when did cops become automotive engineers ? while there busy screwing with you, the bottleshop is getting held up by a gun man?
