  3. with a body of a usa nfl football player no way lol I went to buy a viper in usa and my shoulders hit the window before the door would close , unless the targa top was off no way to fit The new ford falcons are worse to enter the roof line makes you fold in half before entry haha
  4. Close , more like the graff photo in my galllery
  5. Hmmm no it wont be really really loud or clear !! really loud to me is 150+ db and that wont get you anywhere near that 125-30 if your lucky and its buillt right For parties WTF !! , no When your serious then talk , your not even in the ballpark for SPL
  6. Lol gold medal answer of the day
  7. Bump answer the questions above for a more detailed answer It could work but not optimum and there are much cheaper options even in the alpine brand
  8. R34 with sunroof is shocking even with new seats and ultra low bride rails its still to high up , got leg room now still hit steering At 6'2 and not small frame I'm so sick of it I'm ready to bolt straight into the floor pan minus the factory pickup points Just about driving from the backseat !! Damn poor design
  9. Harder then what ? Nine inch nails ? Deathmetal screaming ? Dumbstep ? , techno doof doof I listen to just about everything except blatant screaming death metal , annoying techno that is distorted bad on remix , techno is a no go around bed time lol 50's music yuk , and the new cookie cutter tv bands And any coldplay , similar bands bring on samurai sword to end my ear misery Oh And rock out to justine beaner ( lol kidding ) the vast array of music in my collection would shock most people
  10. Depends on how its wired What car its going into What is your goal ? Enter contest, show system, just loud , clear , etc Your music source needs and type of music you listen to Dont forget wiring and install costs Sound-deadener for at least the doors in this range of equipment Charging system of the car , wiring and battery not up to snuff or old as dirt , even class D amps gulp power and a 30 dollar add water jap battery will last a few weeks tops and has poor connectors Radio is fine for double din opening Splits are good but overpriced Subs are good but not my first choice for the cash Amp is mono so wont run the splits which leaves deck power on those , which would be a huge fail On type x splits unless your planning a second amp later on to run those ? I love alpine gear but its not the first choice for everything and if your on a tight budget look elsewhere or do it in stages Kiss most of your boot goodbye unless you get creative on box for subs in a coupe really you need to do the shopping and listening To fit goals , car and budget You could do a 500 dollar system or 30,000 dollar system , but sound similar if installed wrong
  11. Tiger bond , get it from auto paint store it drys hard and is near impossible to get off again so be warned Sikaflex shrinks and falls off to easy
  12. Sucks man , mine was hit by a trailer at woollies and colour bond metal cut my rear bar and Rear light In a nice wavy pattern , then he drove off , had a padlock thrown at my bonnet by kids on a bike while paying for fuel , and car dealer sideswipe my car above rear wheel and deny it !! and custom rego plates folded by kids in front of subway and iced coffee poured on it same time , at noon not midnight !!! farking savages between potholes , poor drivers, people with no respect for property or each other !! Need a old bush basher Oh and if that red amp wire has power your looking at a car fire !! Its going to get cut in half if left there And hope its fused at the battery too not fusebox Run it thru throttle holder and down below strut bar to battery , fuse should be as close as possible to battery to protect the car not the amp!! My bitch
  13. I have 3 pairs of one of the brands that share the parts ( not made by soundstream) but exactly the same ( my power rating is 400rms but i have over 500 per channel on them ) 2000 just to splits Yeah they're decent lol , I have mine from a sponsor so the choice was minimal options If you shop wise you can find them cheaper still Don't overlook earthquake , morel makes a cheaper setup now, mephis audio , arc audio , option audio , orion , rockford fosgate, Percision power , herz , even blaupunkt at a really low price point but sound ok ask chris rogers off here he sells blau and might be able to hook you up ? Let your ears listen , poly cones, carbon cones , paper cones. And all the others sound different And tweeters same deal , i prefer silk dome or titanium but Ive installed 7 dollar ea poly domes that sounded nice ( same ones high dollar speaker companies use for home) So many choices lol I have favorite companies but always open minded about new options , most of the car audio comes from asia now anyway !! Unless you get into premium models that are from usa or EU Or morel from isreal via EU lol So yes that is a nice option but beware those need a good membrane and well sealed door skins or they will sound poor and power handling will be 50 watts !!! the mids get flappy but its not a bad design its for fast transient response and deeper midbass just needs proper install
  14. Gtt/gt have a way different floor pan and dont interchange with rails Gtr might if you use gtst rails Gtt seats suck balls the silver stains instantly even with scotchgaurd , series 2 seats use better black trim But i just ripped mine out for aftermarket of my gtt Better but still not perfect Damn ADR rules are way ghey and not practical
  15. On series 2 clusters with your blue lights the needles looked like holograph floating above the cluster , only easy to read in pitch black in town street lamps impossible
  16. Why would you want to buy blue plastic For a lens ? Just change the lighting to blue? If not that clear part pops off with ease then get some cut to fit , it has a slight curve so it would be fiddly But do able
  17. I had blue on series 2 from dan The light spectrum punches blue thru a bit dark until its real dark out but still blue , now you can find multiple smd blue lights on a cluster which would be blinding but might suite series 2 clusters Or do what I did buy nismo cluster You want blue light my car is insane You open the door and bam it glows like a ufo inside no light source visible just glow Lol got rice , its a show car more or less and i like it
  18. Pop up some photos of the area for a look Make sure the plug on the back of tcs is in and tight And the plugs that sit on the rack in front of the intake near fuel reg are pushed all the way in and not crusty Listen for the flap / clunk of the tcs when the key is to last position before starting if you dont hear it tcs throws up the lights after engine starts Tps is still working a bit or it fights with tcs to shut the engine down at 2000 rpm like mine did Makes your redline 2,000 and let me tell you up a hill it isnt enough lol 2000 wasnt even enough to clear my curb without a run at it with light flyheel
  19. A photo would help But the blue plug if its behind the throttlebody closer to firewall on drivers side goes to charcoal canister solenoid the item with two vacuum lines one to manifold with one way mushroom valve the other to the underside metal vacuum crossover pipe on its way to charcoal canister The blue plug plugs into that If you have a blue plug at the front of your intake thats could be the cause !!!
  20. Turn you key to on while listening for tcs flap sound , the stepper motor is the big round can at the front of the throttlebody wires hidden under it Its stuffed if you cant hear it flap closed and open again before engine cranks which pops up the warning lights You can also get ABS failure lights along with it Thats a quick no money fix
  21. Dont bother i can tell you the codes will be the tcs / tps , i would put money on it The codes will say no ground on tcs or open loop Selfcheck fail serious mate if your down south in can loan you my throttlebody , you dont even need to install it just plug it in lay it on the engine and start the engine with the bad one running the airflow still The lights will clear that moment ( codes will still be in ecu but you can reset it afterwards) The car runs fine just no tcs and lights that scream out defect , as long as you confined clean harness and no broken wires or unplugged tcs The fix takes 15 min , gasket was like 10 bucks , complete throttle body from wreck on sau 40 bucks , start engine you hear it flick the traction control as you turn the key , lights go off All sorted , even good nissan mechanics will try to chase it at 100 bucks hr and not find it , your tps will need reset afterwards no big deal the idle off automatic was 2,000 but 2 second fix Msd stuff is lots of mod to work and find room But 100000 times better then shitfires or truck coils
  22. I just fixed the same exact problem Does the traction control come on even with lights on ? ( you can tell if the car is still drivable above 2k rpm ? Its shagged) if so the traction control motor has and /or sensor has failed ( unless the plug is out or crusty on the tcs sensor) The gtt r34 uses more then 3 different part # 's for the same model diff years for those parts and new they cost over 2k i checked you have to buy the whole throttle unit from nissan Strange enough the auto and manual bodies are different part # 's altogether but will swap just fine except you get cruise control throttle bracket on auto model ( i can see automatic cars will have to use automatic bodies due to the harness pin out hardwired to the stepper motor ) but 5 spds like mine the auto one off a series 1 worked fine ) 15 min swap out the whole unit but get the nissan gasket for the throttlebody first , i bought the last one in oz nissan a few weeks ago Options to fix Swap with one off wreck and reset tps , ecu Easy fix Or Strip the stepper motor which is very fussy and exact or it will screw up if you dont mark it , the blade on the motor wont selftest which throws up the warning lights Can also be the sensor on tcs And tps out of range , mine was toast Cleaning wont fix unless you open up stepper motor be warned its fussy , i have two throttlebodys here if you need photos up close , one auto , one 5 spd series 2 not coilpacks like the other issues listed speaking of that my shitfire packs are dying now , splitfire oz has horrible customer service by the way and found out mine were imported by where i bought my car from and voided the warranty day one unauthorized dealers for splitfire , part numbers dont even match oz part numbers Barely 4 years old and spotless and wires upgraded Time for MSD hi energy from the states f**k those off and be done with it
  23. Streetglow leds the original Quality brand Mate dont listen to everyone let them be sheep and haters Ive been worldwide including japan a few times And you see them in every country Do what you think is cool and makes you happy I have massive amounts of LED's but used tasteful ( sorta lol) and you will get defected for driving with them on in 2 seconds( blue and red are limited to police and emergency only) mine are for photos and car shows only Just secure properly and away from fuel / brake lines and keep them well up so they're not stand out even when off !!
  24. Piss easy to make out of carbon , fiberglass or ? But seriously its ugly and i can think if better ways to get air in Plus comfirm ADR bonnet scoop laws first ( they have a diagram of what is legal and not ?
  25. Got mine fitted and it took a fair bit of modification to mount on the bride rails and its still not right They sit higher then factory ? But the rails say 25-30mm lower and the drift seats are pretty close to the same size as GTR seats Im further back now but its not a good seating position because my head is jammed into the roof just like before , grrrr damn car rules , I would love to just bolt them thru the floor directly and not use the factory mounting points They would be great for a 5'8 skinny ass driver they do absorb the road shocks better of pot hole central adelaide , and look a butt load better then gtt seats being all black So bewarned the cheap seats get expensive quick if you mount them with bride rails ( under 200 ea ) but took the mechanic all day to mod and fix the compliancing monkey stripped bolts on the passenger side to fit and buy your over a grand at least
