  2. His profile says so? http://aca.ninemsn.com.au/article/8480177/dumbest-petrol-thief video above
  3. Nice to hear from a club exec ? Imature I could ask the same to you I was sharing what ACA just showed in adelaide and they focused in on his rego and car model Like skylines need anymore heat
  4. Nice work for the vic r33 owner stealing fuel and posting it on youtool for aca to show tonight Red r33 rego "jail me " really asking for it ???? Disgusting Qoute, "i'm bored" really pathetic How about digging ditches on a chain gang in 40+ heat while bubba calls you his bitch
  5. Actually its worse then that , homeland security is confiscating all skylines imported and used on the road " illegal imported contraband" no warning they just get a door knock , no choice but to let them haul it away !!! The usa forums are spewing cause thats how they found the cars in question trolling forums only cars allowed to stay are pure race cars not road worthy the cars in LA are the GTT 's used in fast and furious as stunt cars , they all had gtr kits , the gtr hero car was stolen from the lot and never found
  6. Found a photo of some on a series 1 r33 can anyone confirm that owns one? found my aircon bracket matches them ? But the other r34 bracket is steel on my spare one But p/s bracket is cast iron :-(
  7. Same boat here , gates timing belt and all new pulleys etc , cold no noises, warm to hot random whime like a supercharger Mechanic said cam gear profile was slightly diff ? Called gates tech , he said never issues unless its a dud idler , mine are brand new The too tight syndrome doesnt seem right too tight would whine cold not hot Cant be idler it did it right after install kevlar doesnt contract and expand ( i deal with it often ) asked a skyline spec mech said never gates only factory Comflict i grew up down the road from gates usa and in 35 years of car and gates never had issues till now i just don't want a rb melt down till i can afford to drop in a stroker motor ( farking thing just dump a turbo found it wasnt stock from japan ) and nissan wiring sucks balls crusty might keep digging , the noise isnt such a big deal as long as no damage is done
  8. They would fit with ease on each side panel and minimal loss of space and not super heavy like that brick , which looks to big for the specs on solobaric 12's the side panels are prime spots for custom boxes for up to 12" subs , 15" fit inverted but use a fair bit of space Slim mount subs fit in a bunch of spots including inside the gtt rear cabin walls but custom box only 2 12" will fit under the rear deck if your clever and specs are right , ported thru factory speaker holes or in the sedan the ski tunnel pass thru
  9. Yes the humidity for most clear coats should be 40-60% tops but its even more critical with that vht clear and the ceramic paints from vht wont set until heat cycled a few times ( sunlight or heater and 23c at least when sprayed , the paint and alloy must be warm or the alloy repels the paint from being cold ) ) they look dry but easy to fark up , that clear and ceramic paints fark up paint that isnt 90% dry at least before applying The ceramic matte black is amazing stuff it bonds well to clean degreased metal and does cool to the touch a bit , works a treat to stealth stainless mufflers that stand out otherwise But use care it must be applied with carbon mask at least , its really harsh when spraying i didnt pre prime any metal except degrease light sanding and wax and grease remover and it wont come off and holds up to tools hitting it , i used the titanium silver instead of the silver base coat on metal cast it really pops a lot better in sunlight with blue candy over it , and the colour alone looks damn nice , rustolium brand only ( crappy sprayers lol ) but close to 2 pac custom look
  10. Do them yourself for under 50 bucks ( plus gaskets) see newer post for info how cant post photos but will soon they look killer and intake coated in titanium metallic silver with all the carbon on the engine bay and probolts in anodized blue , and blue hoses on everything Blue and silver wiring Blue, silver, and carbon/ and matte black ceramic on hi temp shields
  11. Did my r31 rocker in gloss red 11 years ago in brake caliper paint , still perfect R34 is done in metallic titanium silver ( not high temp) coated in anodized blue colour cast ( not high temp ) and high temp vht clear , looks amazing and way better then powder coat , under 50 bucks just prep well and dry in warm dry air and heat up a bit a few times before mounting to set the paint ( hi temp clear will cloud if you dont) I did my brakes and rotors same process 4 years ago and they look perfect still )
  12. Not sure where this fits or not in catagories Does anyone know what model , year r33-34 rb25det Had skeleton alloy engine mounts ?? I found some that say r33 in junkyard paint marker but same exact pattern as r34 neo , spoke to nissan and a few wreckers nobody knows ? No nissan logo or part numbers on the forging Just a tiny 4 letter mark forged in and google cant find info and a 11 etched in Anyone know if they might be aftermarket ? Or nissan stock ? Mine are stamped steel and 3 times the weight ? (Not rb26 either ) They look a lot cooler then sheet steel anodized blue
  13. Just did my clutch and found nismo lightweight flywheel in perfect nick and coppermix setup a nice suprise after buying a new alloy flywheel and clutch lol wasnt dead if anyone wants it cheap Mate send madaz a pm he got mine cheaper and service was fantastic for gtt do the gearbox gaskets front and rear tranny and spigot , rear main seal at the same time , preventive Did the nismo braided line too little bugger to bleed lol Mine only has 88,000 easy k's and the seals were drying a fair bit
  14. Anything the factory / dealer imstalls. Is junk Amd could be bypassed by a crim I think it was a coincidence , ( toyota has a weakenss as well but cant disclose what it is in public ) plus never leave anything in a car or truck even in a remote location , trailheads get hit all the f**king time here for dayhikes , the opportunity is too great for thieves to walk away from a car full of gear destine for the pawnshop for drug money , savages you can have anything nice anymore ffs
  15. If you have a name brand alarm from the past 15 years they have code rolling ( hopping ) and cant be scanned Domt sweat it Not the same for remote door openers on a house You would be more likely to be car jacked and your habits watched And if the alarm keeps going off DO NOT disable the siren or disarm it , thieves set it off over and over till you get sick of it and think you have a problem , then kiss your car goodbye GPS tracker and not the jaycar spec model is highly recommended , club lock and 3 point alarm min and common sense will stop most crims or joyriders, methheads
  16. Hint the wire shows ground when tested with Digital meter And 12 v when you turn on the parking lights Often confused as a ground until the lights come on then it floats the ground thru antenna jack And blows a fuse or causes alternator whine Rookie mistake on installs
  17. If its the group buy model from sa (jaycar) I wouldnt use it , it has restrictions that may limit the ability to track the car in certain areas Hardware is substandard for aussie conditions The full unit ebay options work fine in most cases Similar to mongoose model with external gps and cell antennas and alloy case The viper one has benefits and drawbacks like the fee for monitoring access and upfront cost is a bit high Software wise the ebay one works fine and is accurate in limited cell areas and inside brick buildings that i tested And can be used on most if not all smart phones without added software
  18. Damn chris beat me to it haha
  19. Changing the program disk wont fix it , the disk its looking for Is the dvd of maps for the gps which doesnt exist for anywhere but japan Fix is use screen for a new dvd player with mods Contact chris rogers in brissy ( audio express) You can toggle the modes if the screen opens to see it I found a cool 3 D animated Nissan screen saver on mine and a bunch of other worthless crap Or do what i did rip the shit out and put in high res aftermarket Wide screen and a massive amount of gear lol Remolded the factory bezel so now its similar to gtr mfd display In carbon fiber but actually sits slightly lower then gtt full open the motorized screen is heavy as hell and low res NTSC format And australia uses PAL for dvd disks The factory stuff is rubbish and makes nice door stops Mine is just sealed in bag in shed works fine and has all the options
  20. Oh yes that is a great choice $$$$$ must be installed properly of they will sound crap And fry even a little power will kill them , go visit a pro for sure They last a lifetime if installed right and not underpowered with distortion
  21. Depends on what you have to start with ? Pm me if you want to keep It private
  22. You can do a half tube under the rear deck for a solobaric 10 easy Tight bass , light weight enclosure and leaves. Room for amp to mount on it too To look nice? Mate those DD subs use a lot bigger box and with that much power A good /proper box is a must of kiss them good bye I've seen more then a few torched From a noobie , are those sealed or ? The split in the floor mount almost looks like you have them Running free air ? Mind you its viewed on iphone lol
  23. You need to find out if its a 5 volt output or 12v or ? and which wires are positive and neg first , you can unscrew the plug fuse housing and look in most cases , then hardwire it If it doesnt have a voltage curcuit to reduce the output then you can chop off the plug but figure out the positive and neg first You might be better off just hijacking the power from behind and splitting it off to additional jack ( some of those power plugs cost a mint if they get hacked up and need replaced)
  24. The solobaric subs use much less space then generic boxes give you , the generic box will be too big and sound crap and could kill the woofer two subs in a shared space ( tyre well ) will actually make it worse the tyre well is too big and shared space halves the volume required for 2 subs I would do custom to save space and sound better Which car model is it , most have enough room for a 12 in behind the side panel on passenger side ? So it wouldnt take any extra space at all !!! The solobaric sounds better with a tiny bit of polyfill on the back wall of the box , smoothes out the sound and tighter sounding
  25. That is a classic example of bad installation Take to auto electrical unless your so inclined to trace it back ? That is a fuse tap gone wrong( there always wrong but dodgy shops do it still ) they can stretch the metal tabs so the fuse is loose and the curcuit fails start with figure out what that goes too ? Then rip out and do it right Then trace sunroof issues
