what is the model # of the amp most white equipment is for boats ? if so you know you have wire issues or the power block/hookup on the pioneer amp itself is loose inside the case maybe ? unhook all the wires/RCA from it, only put the ground, and 12v on it, then use a small hunk of wire as sugguested above to jump into the 12v turn on spot on the amp, do you get power or protection lights ? nothing ? check the ground ? still nothing, are you sure you have 12v min on both wires that need power ? still nothing try the same trick on someone elses car or spare battery , just have them help you hold the wires right on the battery , using care not to arc them. any power lights ? no . amp or board connections bad. smell the amp side near the power, does it smell burned ? out of warranty take off cover , look for obvious smoked items, or wiggle power to see if the solder joints are still attached to the curcuit board. while power is disconnected of course. beyond that it might need someone else to have a upclose look at it. before you dump it ? if you haven't use a volt meter on the grounds , I would suggest it. you could be suprised by what you find , some amps wont turn on if its .5v low or the ground is floating thru the RCA

you can use a blue ray player out of a PC in a car, easy to mod most APPS use bluetooth dongles to get info , its very common in north america magazines , on 350Z and 370Z and canadian imported Skylines

lime green 32 last night, anthonys car in dinga wine r33 , silver stag, black ferrari drop top on the esply in dinga, and some muppets hanging out of a white ford falcon , yelling at people on the sidewalk, while sitting on the door sill pounding on the roof. complete lack of seatbelts and brains black HSV holden pulling full power skids thru 3 gears on the esply last night, sounded nice but he was sooooo speeding . take it to the track tool time

use care, SNAPPING OFF by someone could crack the screen easy. it should fit with ease, maybe a tiny bit of fiddling or slotting the factory brackets to fit nicer

man I wish I knew how Alpine brainwashes so many people, Type R are mid range speakers at best LOL

I hope you meant , 8 gauge from the BOOT mounted battery to the amps, not Engine bay still. 8ga is a bit small for 2 amps to run on except short distances each amp needs fuse as close to battery as possible. or one shared on the line , TO PROTECT THE CAR not the amps unless its a huge SPL amp with no fuses built into the amp BAD ground ? use the same ground for both amps, as short as possible and use a bolt , not screws (not seat bolt or belts ) not getting 12+ VOLTS on the constant power the old pioneer might be fussy and not turn on without enough voltage(when did they come white ? I can't recall white pioneer amps ever ?) is it a silver one painted white or the radio isn't putting out enough voltage to turn it on both amps due to the ground /voltage difference now...., use a relay. you might have created a grounding problem with boot mounting your battery. MOST LIKELY. run a ground 4GA to the alternator frame to the body of the car( use the bolt from factory down below the battery tray in front, just clean off the crust and paint, first. then use a dab of grease on the spot after you tighten the bolt to stop rust) , this will help a few things besides the amp, spark coils, and everything electronic in the car. then run a 4GA wire from the battery in the rear to a close by bolt, grind off the paint under it and ground the battery right there. dont use seat, or seat belt bolts, and dont drill into brakes, fuel tanks, etc. you created a ground problem with voltages differences now. you most likely will have engine noise too. whine ? I hope you fused the wire from front battery location to rear ? if that wire gets cut its a fire ? must be at least 4GA or better too this is assuming the amps are in the boot not under a seat ? and dont forget batteries in the boot must be vented to outside, or sealed AGM /spiral wound style battery to be legal and safe ? hydrogen gas explosions are bad

that is a single din radio, take the trim ring off first ? this might help explain it http://www.installdr.com/TechDocs/999015.pdf Japan uses Iso- Din radio mounts, not pure Din (German) so the trim rings can be a tiny bit off or need some mods to fit right. nothing serious get it installed by a pro easy fix.

Multi-Gauge Display ; What Are The Option?
Carbon 34 replied to cobrAA's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
Iphone or pad running wireless bluetooth consult can do multiple gauges at once. many apps for nissans and other cars since Iphones and pads also have Gmeters built in you can get data from track days as well ? older iphones will be popping up soon, iphone 5s coming soon -
R33Gtsts2 -> Installing Alarm/keyless Entry
Carbon 34 replied to Torques's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
clarified true keyless = leave your keys in your pocket, doors unlock when you get close, you get in drive off , with or without a key , might be push button start remote control entry = key with power locks on the head. or alarm remote -
just because you can doesnt mean you should !!!! I had a V10 in my 4x4 dodge truck lets just say. dissapointed . the quality was shocking bad !! . Japanese tech/dependability any day

Rockfords are decent, I started installing those back in 89...lol , and built a few rockford demo trucks.for CEA shows in vegas like most brands, they make entry level and top of the line, but to get back on track he wanted a system for dirt cheap and sounded decent for the cost. ???? Rockford agaist Type R ? Alpine just has a better market share and is a much larger company but both companies make good stuff . and both of the speakers you mention are "MID RANGE" from the company. not high end rockford is part of a company who makes some of the best brands around ? Type X splits are the same as a other notable companies with minor tweaks. type X cost a bit more then he wanted to spend..lol

cheap place that does fantastic work, no fuzz , no bubbles, all the way to the edge.and under the door panel is up from sinergy motorsport about a block same side of the road. CFR the name, way cheaper , and did 35% 3M film ....so no purple I'm looking into redoing mine, my seat belts have nicked the front windows tint and the monkeys that did my compliance put scratches in the rear window tint... I found a new product that is Ceramic based but need to check the legality think its 30% light transmission not 35.. grrr not sure if I can get it here yet. , comes in clear as well so you could do you headlights, and front window to save them from UV and scratches. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Window_Film/Solutions/Markets-Products/Automotive/Ceramic_Series/ but can block out massive amounts of heat, and UV. I don't understand why 20% isnt legal here, it so hot and the sun so harsh. I had 5% in USA all the way around and a strip on my windsheld. limo tint on a white car looks nice..lol

Jenna is right , the factory alarm , in all cases is worthless . only some series 2 GTT have them or GTR later models but wont stop anyone find a ADR approved alarm , asap, dont delay and get FULL comprehensive insurance now !!! use common sence not to leave your baby alone on the street or overnight in a bad spot, in the morning you will find it gone !!! or on the news in a hispeed ram raid ? then burnt to a crisp. buy a club lock too, everyting to stop them works, even if it just delays them another min they move on to easier cars to nick. your car stock is just as big of target for joy riders or thieves. dont be fooled

Fyi :The sanji alarm is now wireless keypad , because people traced wires back !!! But like a ATM cash machine I could sit back and use my long range camera lens to watch you input the code since it lights up at night ?? Too easy to get past Keypad is out of date tech for low cost oem cars Any decent installer should be able to foil even the best crims by mis information , alarms hooked to nothing ? The real one is hidden behind so many panels and even the keyswitch can be faked ?? And one the pressurize the abs brakes while armed ?? So much is possible it boggles the mind and wallet. Lol Mind you this isn't a day job to install
