there are lots better options available, RFID, Biometric ? most house alarms arm based on 12V , so yes they make keypads with the digits you require. keypads automatic pin point a weak point in the alarm. they can follow the wires right back in ??? magnetic latching relays ? RFID is 100% hidden. and you can make your car keyless.and just put in a start button..haha the keys stay in your pocket Bio metric , can be as well. just depends on your wallet and the skills of the installer?

twice yesterday near aldinga shops or two different cars ???, a pearl white stag with gold and silver mesh rims, kinda looks like the one stolen to far from it to tell , (the one parked in MV parking lot of south rd often )
-
rear cradle bushings or one of the control arms ? bad shocks ? broken or loose sway bar. rims loose , bolts on the rack loose ? have a real good poke around bet you see something , axle slipping out of the rear diff ?

there called a DENVER Boot, I know I grew up where they invented them, along with Lidar, the laser the police use. you can't over ride the boots without a torch and most likely burn the car as well. but its the last thing you want to drag around in your car !!!! common sense !!! , would you leave your most valuable item(your baby) out for everyone to see and fondle ? that stops most stolen cars alone if you think a second first ? a multi layered security used 100% of the time even if your 10 steps from the car. set the alarm. ADR approved of course full comprehesive insurance BEFORE you take the car home on the first day. if you can't afford to insure it.... you can't afford the car !!! now it drives up the rates everytime a skyline is stolen insured or not !!! then you can go with Biometric scanners(eyes or fingers, facial), RFID(the tags like stores use to make sure your not stealing crap and also used in new keyless cars ) , GPS/3G trackers, etc. not many people know how to install that stuff here but I can point you in the right direction, if your interested ? really it comes down to another problem, laws dont punish car theft harsh enough ?????

try a light rear end turbo power car on a hill in wet weather or bumpy roads, the boost comes on and your sideways(on cruise you need a traction cutout but it will be too late by then IMO) . Im 6'2 and sunroof in my car lowers the roof a lot. the seats are made for someone 5'3 ??so I feel your pain on space ... just take a break , a cruise is fine for a 4cyl camry but not a skyline turbo

you can move to Detroit cheaper , I saw a house go for 130 dollars yes thats a correct price ..lol . orginal cost was 250k . before the crims stripped the copper pipes and wiring out of the house and the banks had 1000 of repo's the show I watch had hundred of house left abandoned on one street in detroit alone. tell the agent get farked, sell your house like he is supposed too . they hover over like buzzards for money. and if hes wearing a gold jacket kick him in the sack for me.too..haha

it can be done easy, nissan failed , they forgot that option..lol remember a hi power car on wet roads and cruise control is a dangerous mix even with 4 wheel drive on GTR. ? I often wish mine had it but know its a bit dangerous if the boost hits on a bump or slippery roads. even with traction control on you could be in the trees in seconds your back hurting would be more of the seat and or too stiff suspension. jap coilovers are really setup stiff they have smooth roads . my Bilstiens coilovers are shocking and have been setup reduced even. my GTT seats and my large frame dont match. I bought new ones , or if you have really tall rims and low profile tyres it trashes the ride quality too australia has some horrible roads , the dirt ones are smoother sometimes. i wouldnt do cruise control on a stick shift skyline, autobox maybe if not modded up a lot

New rear wing tester..hahah so is this pedestrian friendly ???

just use care mate, a lot of people get some extremely severe side effects to the point of no return(cant take anymore), just remember this bunch of people on SAU are here for you to chat anytime ? life gets better off those crappy meds. you know your body , and doctors arent' always right either , on a side note from before, you can see your physch doctor "no cost i think in most cases" with a gp refferal around 12 sessions a year on medicare. ask about the mental health act just keep positive mate. no matter how hard it is to kick the patch.... talk anytime on a side note , i think we need some of these for the next out of town car show... lol http://hert.en.ec21.com/Liquid_Activated_Shot_Glass--3441504_4231310.html

dont forget he is shopping JB at just above cost !!! limited options the lightweight stuff takes a few min to appy, not like the kind you have to roll out and prep, you just wipe the dirt off, peel off the backing, trim, done ......a whole box to do a bonnet weighs about a kilo once you ditch the box. dont forget his budget , you would be wasting half the decks 50 watts of power on nothing to save a few kg aprox 3 db more of sound by double the power by using the rear channels power and 3 db of sound pressure by double the speakers ? you dont need extra speaker wiring, just use the factory wires and the ones that come with crossovers to tweeters. without a amp , he will want rear speakers , the boot makes better bass then doors the car isnt light to start with, its easier to save weight on things like boot lids, and bonnets , which weigh a lot. you have the choice race car or street car. just add NOS...hahaha or miss maccas on track day

I have a working one , sitting in my shed..lol and those who can't use search this topic has been rehashed about a thousand times, maybe we could place a sticky on the one with the detailed info ?

Dont cut your rear deck for 6x9 if its not already , ADR rules say they can ping you for a major structual defect for doing it ??? . of course im sure in other states you could get a waved engineer report. just in case and without a AMP you will want rear speakers. most decks aren't bridgeable power to double the power to the fronts

it converts sound energy into heat , nothing you can feel unless your pushing 180db for a while , but thats the way it really works in easy to understand terms, it modifies the resonant freq of the panel you place it on makes it feel more solid then it is. sounds more of a thud then twang when you hit the door. for the country folk..lol but what your after is , to stop rattles, vibrations, if you use enough you can seal off the doors like a sub box(sort of) for better deeper bass and a lower noise floor in the cabin so you dont need amplifiers to hear the tunes. the ultra light stuff has a silver side with random fiberglass fibers to hold it from tearing woven in , and fire resistant soft foam core, with a self stick backing, they use if for under bonnets, roofs, boot lids, that can be found overseas much cheaper and light to ship. ?? think mine was $45 USD retail plus shipping for a box big enough to do a bonnet underside.(i do not condone "transhipping" the unauthorized dealers selling of products out of the market or country disclamer..to save face with the 12v industry guys..lol) it made my car so quite I can listen to my iphone in the console while doing 100kph . and my car has a turbo back 3." to a 5 inch tip in on it . not super loud outside on idle but roars at 100...lol mind you I do have two layers of it now. butyl / tar based and light weight type . oh another bonus my car is way cooler inside on sunny days. after doing doors and roof alone. use a name brand product only , the cheap stuff falls off in this heat . and smells like hell if you get the tar based type, "roofers special " i think you would be happy with the selection , but without sifting thru JB's access list of items available thats the best I can do.

I feel your pain mate , try this melotonin tablets, natural brain chemical that you loose as you get older and no side effects , most health shops have em for about 10 bucks. useful for long haul flights too. less jet lag KAVA - KAVA tea, a strong batch mixed with regular black tea(or your favorite tea/coffee) and camomile tea. kava alone taste like tree root and looks like mud. makes your tougue numb for 20 seconds , but after 1 decent cup of tea and you will chillout mentally , you wont feel it kick in but it will relax you enough for sleep in about 20-30 min without nasty anti depression drugs or valuim side effects just use care not to mix kava with pain killers or asprin. its been used for 10,000 years by natives so dont buy into the hype its toxic . the reported death was somone who mixed a bucket load of panadol with it. dont booze with it. either. doesnt leave you hung over the next day either, like pills if you use a coffee filter to pour the just under boiled water (boiled water is actually burned ) thru you can avoid the twigs in it..lol available from happy herbs on bank st near maccas, last time I found it. , get the tonga bag for about 20 bucks fish oil with DHEA omega 3, glucosamine with chondrotin in it. helps the pain and inflamation without side effects , works great after about 2 weeks of use . like oiling you joints up ..lol fish oil helps clear your head too. anything positive you can muster in the day is a help and anything physical you can must will increase your endophines , which will motivate you and make you tired at days end. cold weather sucks the life out of you.. but sit in the sun 10 min a day , helps the vit. D in your system . go to the beach and suck in some fresh air (positive ions). close your eyes for 5 min to listen to the waves . think of nothing beside the noise of waves go to a comedy show and laugh your ass off. till your guts hurt if your into it meditation helps, I have a good cd that teaches you micro meditation to de- stress only takes less then a min. not a magic fix but it all beats pills and the shite side effects on and off them hope that helps Brendan ?

JB hi fi choices at just above cost prices ? I would look to see what you like off this list. since its cost I cant say which one would fit you budget Pioneer australia or contact chris rogers he might be able to price match or do a deal for you ? from the JB website I would choose this one for your needs think it covers all of them ? this is single din if you wanted double din http://www.jbhifionl...cd-tuner/650634 single din CD above double din below and DVD http://www.jbhifionl...receiver/651163 speakers from JB MB Quart splits front and rear or coax rears, 6.5 or 6x9 , depending on if your rear deck is cut out , since I cant see your car I cant say for sure but MB Quarts sound nice and smooth . http://www.jbhifionl...h-splits/436107 spend a few bucks on some of the ultra light dynamat for at least the doors and maybe a bit on the rear deck. it light as a 1.5 liter water bottle and will make a huge difference in sound , and the feel of the doors in general. not on JB's website but I do know they sell it JB's website doesnt show everything they sell so you might find something better but this should help you that should get you pretty close to your budget levels depending on pricing you get and if who installs it

yes you can get a freq module for your radio(under 40 bucks ) to make it work, not worth it IMO shit can the original radio in shed .....the reception is horrible, and dont cut the antenna wires and solder , use the adapters the disk changer makes a great boat anchor... same thing I have one in my shed along with a complete sat nav setup , MD, DVD, TV , pop up screen and 6 disk on my GTT you can use the screen still , but if you really want to keep that radio search this section on how too, its been discussed a hundred times or contact chris rogers off this forum he can help you out .

once again beware of buying a audio gear from USA, some wont work here at all. and most has a voided warranty because the dealers are "trasnshippers" which void the warranty even if they say authorized dealers " !!!! and the dollar exchange rate doesn't even pay for the shipping cost from usa ?? and hurts the ecomomy in oz where are you located I might be able to recommend someone ? chris rogers off here is in brissy but Im sure could help you out ? some of the new amps fit in the palm of your hand by the way ??? high powered deck , alpine, pioneer, clarion, kenwoood are some of my choices in no order speakers, some coax in the rear deck, splits in the front but your budget is really tight , if you never intend on a bigger system you could do it. but dont' shoot yourself in the foot by buying cheap and being bass deprived , better off buying a nicer deck hi power, and some decent front speakers, and if you need to use the factory ones in back faded out, or disconnected if they sound horrible. then buy a set of matching coax for the rear when you have funds ?

for the bored souls on friday REDBULL SOAP BOX DERBY games , if you get bored they made some crazy cars for this race in USA http://www.redbullsoapboxusa.com/Game.aspx enjoy

eblow radios from china no support in most cases not to mention, old map data , expired maps trial version only, low volume output on deck power, noisy motorized faces, data cards that pop out and jam the motors in the face. trim rings that dont fit the skyline or the radio. digtital tv antennnas and GPS antenna marked backwards on the rear , horrible screen graphics, wiring directions vague at best , hidden features not in the manual, piss week EQ, settings, some are only .5 volt output not 2-8 volt out on the RCA lines which is really low for input on amplifiers these days, the signal will clip quickly , and having to reset the unit a few times a month for no reason, which clears everything settings wise, including the digtial TV stations. or units reverting back to production settings in chinese dont buy radios from USA either, voided warranties, and most GPS, digital tv functions wont work here. no maps either. lots of refrubished units are out there cheap in usa so caveat emptor, buyer beware dont do it. !!!

yeah it would be about that much landed and complied. wish I has some change it would be in my driveway now..haha that car would be worth it, the low K's and it even has a warranty , if you go to the sellers site it has more detailed info about the cars history. Im sure that would be a investment type car . flawless looking inside it has been in storage which is bad and good. dried out hoses, etc
-
I agree with chris, dont by off the net, they make some really good made in china copies. Focals overrated IMO so many better choices for the money. Focal amps, hmmmm NO not even on my radar for SQ or SPL, unless your brand loyal sooo many better choices. IMO Focal subs, fine for SQ, but once again many better and cheaper choices, unless your brand loyal in a generic box they will sound horrible

no worries, the molex plug must have had wire tun into it before. mine was still sealed
