subs can fit in the sidewalls but they need a box to sound decent, which needs to be molded to fit, and cutting the metal can be a structual defect so be warned ? a 8 would fit easy a 10 if you modded up the side panel plastic. to do it right will take some money and time but its possible

ditch the jap terminals, and use a real battery . the factory wiring can be merged with aftermarket without problems. or replace it with all new stuff for grounds and power up to the main curcuit panels. and alternator .

the viper alarm batteries are AAA batteries if its the transponder remote and last a month tops . the other remotes battery last about 3-6 months .. but in the future your smart phone will be your remote , already available in USA and being tested elsewhere. remote start is instant major ADR defect , retarded I know but I dont make the rules and if you read below you void your warranty if you buy from anyone not authorized to sell and install it. ?? direct electronics has great support they make Viper, Clifford, Python, Hornet. etc Cyclops I've never had good luck with IMO but your alarm must comply with the ADR guidelines for insurance imobilzer points to cover your car in most cases .

here is a few reasons they suck 1) Possible standing waves in the surround. 2) Non-even dispersion of sound wave across radiating area 3) Standing waves IN the cone 4) Poorly controlled moving mass due to unsymmetrical loading of suspension. when you ask what brand 6 in to buy it depends on budget, tastes, brand loyalty and so much more , and if you have amp or factory deck etc to power them ? and of course then if you don't install them right any speaker will sound horrible, or out of phase , no bass etc. dont overlook some of the SAU sponsors or contributuors on here ?

what else doesnt work on the car now, cig lighter, dome light ? dash lights , clock ? you grounded it to the dash lights ? dash light wires show ground until you turn them on then the go to 12volts, ???? no ground at all? no power when switched on ? accesory lead fuse or what you attached it too no memory to hold channels or clock even on the deck ? blown fuse on constant power lead or what its attached too fried the antenna/amp turn on lead and deck blown fuse on any of the above ?

i wouldnt discuss a kill switch on here, they can be so stealth you cant see them or touch them. RFID chips . Iphone bluetooth, IP the list is huge, it depends on your budget and know how. not many places in OZ know how to do a RFID or proximity kill switch. that I have found. anyhow kill switches can as easy as a cig lighter or something you never touch just your "presense" is all you need.
