No description or biz names posted in public or otherwise ? a boat load of biz are RAA in the area , No other details will be given to protect the case's underway to prosecute fully Common sense ? Happy new year pete , lock the post -
Lol its most likely going to be painted another white absolute pure with white epoxy primer That creates a blueish purple hue in street lights at night , almost a colour flip but no pearl its the light spectrum refraction ( my old rx7 was painted a variation of that ,it works ) I love the storm trooper look but carbon attracts the police around here, so sadly those body parts will get paint

Removing Mould From Interior Trim
Carbon 34 replied to Missileman's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
The spores will blossom again and can cause serious health issues use a steam cleaner with a bit of WHITE vinegar h2O and pure clove oil ( just a few drops in a big bucket !!) it kills spores to stop spreading then let sit out in the sun to bake off stink of douche and cloves haha Remember just a few drops to be safe on seats and dont spill it in the car or it will never go away in the heat, towels blotting the seats dry the best you can a toothbrush is helpful in seams but use care on the pressure you apply to keep the nap from showing abrasion baking SODA not powder sprinkled on afterwards while its closed up to capture fumes in carpets etc Do not apply while wet or you will be getting crust off works on any musty smells in the house like shoes too :-) coles sells it for a couple of bucks near the cake decorating stuff -
There is a guy who is selling out his 3m stock and biz closing up , its on the street behind the theberton pub on theberton rd , a block or two down then hang a right its the first building on your left next to a car wrapping joint ( his place is unmarked i think ) think his name is rodney The 3m distro rep in adelaide is [email protected] And HVG are total assholes only want to deal in bulk and for industrial finishes so be warned poor customer service Metro style in usa is a better place to buy , they have bucketloads of products and adhesive promoter

The A pillars are brittle and most are broken already Use a plastic or wooden panel popper tool if you have one , or a thin plastic or wooden spatula / bog spreader/ putty knife or worse case a old butter knife slid into the small gap by the bend , your trying to put tension on the middle of the panel vertical and walk it around slowly towards the back of the car,( which has two little hook hoop catches on the end holding it by your head Gently moving it open they pop out leave the lower front till last Once you start working the front lower half its final holding part is a hoop of plastic on the very end , two hands and some flex will pop it free without breaking ( the little white clips on the back check for all of them and if missing replace for a few bucks) also superglue any broken black holders now ( ca model glue from hobby shop works best) Dont bend the rubber molding in the door ( skylines worse feature ! damn doors that wont stay open )its $$$$ and will cause water / wind wistles/ fumes to enter the sunroof model has a butt load of room hidden behind the center sunroof switch plate , mine has a tv and gauges embedded in the area in carbon surround now !! Haha Use care fixing wires by pedals if you go to cig lighter power nothing worse to deal with while driving
-
Easy Pull the screws out of sun visor hold clip Pull screws out of visor Now the headliner will be loose enough to push wires under from the front but use a tiny bit of duct tape or gaffer tape to tape down under headliner away from copper tube in front of the sunroof ( its a roof heater to keep ice off sunroof and flinging it off at speed do not break open or drill thru it)the tape will keep wires from walking around under your screws too , so you dont screw thru wires Undo the a pillar molding -gentle!!!! Or you will break it or clips slide loose from door arch trim Remove the rubber around front of door on car Now you have a path for the wiring down to fuse box or to cig lighter you can hardwire to switched 12v with a 1 amp fuse you just need to figure out polarity of the factory cig plug , unscrew it and trace the fuse solder joint Note which wire it is , marked or not The fuse wire is positive The twin metal tabs ground

Yep exactly those "amp antenna inline boosters "dont work they just over power the radios fm and create other problems That alpine with a 2 dollar antenna should work great? Funny enough I drove a friends lancer VRX in that vintage a lot and the stock top spec radio it had issues with fm dropout and stereo sound drop off no matter where the car was in town or out , never did dig into why but it might be a common cause lile a broken antenna mast internally ?

Optard 3g and sau double post
-
That is so vaugue , how the hell can we troubleshoot that haha What city? Weather at the time? speed? model of car? Type of radio? Type of antenna / stock or ? jap freq expander ? cut antenna wires soldered job? mountains/ buildings / metal / concrete or a million other things affect it Yes you can amplify the signal , most on time in the city it overloads the PLL circuit and you get multipath ( picket fence sound as you move or mutiple stations ) try a handheld radio in the same area ? Or use a smart phone to run the digital signal off net ?

That looks way better !! The downforce is better I bet its a modern airfoil shape wider both ways and still gets up into clean air off the roof ( bet the vortex is right off the roof into it) I have that wing in my closet just not the same stands -

R33 Gtst Shifting Problem
Carbon 34 replied to bingy iree's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
It has nothing to do with the shifter if it operates the same way People tend to fang a short shift harder is the problem , the short throw is less time to mesh for slap happy drivers " not double clutching yo" Get a Nismo one they work a treat -
Been using redline for longer then a few sau posters have been alive lol mtl is 5 spd , getrags use shockproof , call redline tech in australia !! unless your ham fisting the box then of course shockproof is the go , its notorious for gear clashes on street cars if driven mild Bit like duncan says that gear set is not the one that fails normally unless thrashed And no oil will fix a damaged box get it rebuilt or swap out of a wrecked one ?

Leaked brake fluid on pads? Now it empregnated In them, or fluid or grease on rotors now hot spotted , backside prob Shocks creaking are most likely dead or too low/bent Power steering Use lucas power steering oil or trans fluid ,not nulon junk !! The lucas will be drastic difference in smoothness and idle vibrations, find it at supercheap but beware the bottle is in usa sizes so trans size for 19 bucks if you flush it Small size if its really bad shape plus trans oil Redline trans can be used as well but its expensive ( smells like hell too lol) mine flushed with outboard cooler used 2 liters roughly ( about 80 bucks worth !!) when you do power steering it has to be done front jacked up and on stands , free drop the wheels so they can be moved free by hand Flush, fill, move wheels lock to lock a few times by hand no engine running!! once your happy and fluid full again start the engine , you might hear a loud squeal if the pump was low but only last a split second, turn locks to lock a few more times you will see the wheels freaking out and short shutter violently until all air is out , you will also notice any loose parts rattling on the suspension when that happens If the pump isnt leaking that should sort it Unless brake related
-
Do not put shockproof in a 5 spd box , redline MTL or 90w only Its not a bandaid it does what the factory oil failed to do !! but don't expect a miracle if the sychronos or bearings are screwed , it will make the box smoother in all gears and could save it from rebuild for a long time ( my rx7 box had second failing at 47,000miles -usa it had redline then never played up again ,sold the car with 497,000 on it 11yrs later and it was flogged hard on the track!!) Shockproof is too slick and will make sychros grind , they need to mesh , redline tech will tell you that ( its a major cause of gearbox failures on skylines and any normal 5spd boxes ) Dog boxes /straight cut gears are another story
