move to the audio section please Is your backlight is dimmed all the way down ? some models can, others no ? or you have a bad connection to the actual LCD output (very fragile and easy to stuff up ) or bad backlight for the LCD. sometimes just a loose connection easy fix, or a bad voltage convertor that powers the backlight in that case if you can't see the damage, your better off buying a new radio for the cost of repairs out of warranty can get huge for a cheap radio to start with ? have you contact Jensen ? they have tech support ? you can build a carbon fibre or fiberglass box, tube, enclosure or even get by with a smaller sub under the rear deck lip depending on the car model. I find my car ride is better on the street with more weight on the rear but my spring rate is jap spec stiff, but I have extreme amounts of equipment and very large amounts of O gauge wire I use carbon fibre and fiberglass in my car to cut the weight as much as possible, yes you notice it a bit but the spare weighs a lot more then both of my sub boxes But your not driving a race car on the street, you need good tunes..lol do a few mods to the engine and stop eating maccas and you over come the weight in the boot????..hahaha and not having a box mounted is a disaster waiting to happen, dents or it turns into a missle in a accident ?

I wouldn't own one!!!, because I have driven a few for long periods of time / months(Konig tuned twin turbo 900 dyno HP (at 5280ft altitude in Denver) Testrarossa, F40. and they suck, break/go out of tune easy as hell. and for the most part the people who own them are posers. I enjoyed driving my old highly modded RX7 over those, more of a point and shoot car and loved a good flogging the F40 developed a bad valve spring after a 5 min flog ?? . plus if your too tall the thing is too small to sit in.the shifter is behind my knee on the rossi????? yes I do have a friend who is extremely wealthy and owns 12 modle of them . in Aspen Colorado. (he owns a cruise ship line ) and has a lot of really crazy cars. pretty bold statement for someone who doesn't know me, I grew up in million dollar house(1978 dollars) in USA !!!! Aldinga beach/silver sands is nice, not far from o sulleys , drive on the beach, 8km long, good fishing, watch for sharks, dophins a plenty they have a caravan park on the beach, not sure how much ?? or victor harbour area is nice ?
