  1. Dont see one on there site ? I'm sure a bunch are around but at what cost ? None are kevlar encased , that will help keep it from shatering , most are just flat plate carbon cnc cut and screwed on ? I know a few people who had the police ask them to remove the sharp blades on wings or remove the wing
  2. Auto or 5 spd S1 or s2 ? How soon ? might have my s2 5 spd up for sale soon silver and black gotta fit my carbon and leather nissan airbag momo
  3. Bit soon for a GB lol Gotta get a set made first to figure out time and materials If I had a gtr boot with spoiler on my desk it would be done in a week or less , any spare floating around Adelaide ? ( yes I need to move from SAdelaide to QLD to have access to more club users haha)
  4. Can make anything ( except large parts like bonnets etc) I would need some side shots of that style or hand drawing side on , a close up of the front side and a tracing of your wing profile and upright profile to mock up a test version please note a sharp plane holding up the wing works but the police will ask you to remove it for pedestrian safety ( by the time someone gets that far its bad anyway geez) so a little shape would be required to round off the blades slightly Aerodynamics would improve anyway and it would be stronger as well So if someone can do that I can whip up a test part for someone to fit up ? I know a local with r33 gtr wing but doubt he would consider using his car to test fit on , so need someone else
  5. Which wing do you have now? Yes taller is not a big deal
  6. Not to be captain obvious but anything streamed is data heavy , there is a higher bit rate setting Under your main profile >settings>advance That will make a difference
  7. Yes , example please Do you want to go up or out or ? carbon /kevlar/ glass /zylon
  8. 9. I have a brand new pair( right out of the box ) of Lanzar 12" (1600w max)with chrome baskets in a carbon fibre tube with amp rack I custom make mine since before bazooka was invented lol Will have a pair of used alpine type x 12'a in some as well but not cheap , custom built for r34 gtt A tube is way more efficient if built correctly and tuned right
  10. Exactly what I was going to say mate lol Any decent tracker can do remote shut downs and much more and cheaper then quicktrak or DEI viper setups But these "how to's" won't be advised to the DYI ever , if you don't follow that warning you could kill someone !!
  11. FYI Ipad mini ( 1st gen) Fits in the dash of a R34 without excess mods or cutting , photos coming of kit fitment in dash Could fit in just about any newer Nissan
  12. My bet is a burned trace now Or you simply didn't solder correctly and the ground plane isn't working now Rule one never solder a circuit board while wired up with power check fuse for radio, gauges, cig lighter, lights even worse you overheated a critical component on the board and now it's dead Or fried a trace which now needs repaired ( worked like a fuse and fried!) since none work check ground plane of circuit and look for burned traces
  13. Worthless topic for now, CES is next week and new models come out after that ( consumer electronics show In Vegas ) So bargains will be available then
  14. Depends on the box and your goals Box for that a 28 litre - 35 litre sealed box , lightly stuffed on back wall with poly fill from spotlight ( glue it on the back walls only !! , pillow stuffing ) Did one in a r31 and it sounded ok for the cost Had a boss 800watt max running it bridged on 2 channels of 4 whole setup was less then 200 for parts and equipment Sub should face the back if possible No closer then 400mm from back of car sub wires , 12ga is fine Amp needs to be 300-600rms clean power if sealed box is used Mono if you desire just sub powered 2,4,5 or 6 channel can be used once again your too vague amp wires RCA cables of decent quality trigger wire 14-16ga if you drive more items you need a relay and maybe diode amp power try to stay away from CCA wire ( copper clad alloy) but 8-4ga with fuse at battery Ground close to amp on bolt no paint watch fuel tank and brakes etc Sony isn't my first choice or even top ten at your price point Don't buy off fleabay , you will regret it I. Most cases go to store and listen and price some up Clarion , kenwood, pioneer , option audio, lower end Rockford , Orion cobalt , soundstream Boss , us audio and about 100 more brands lol
  15. Changing the rotors can I ask why they didn't look that bad? Any decent street pads for those , low dust kind lol , I have a set to put on still after removing the writing on the calliper and the colour , redone in metallic blue candy with Nissan logo ( it's stock lol) Have you been picked on by the man for those , im worried since they're not legal according to A to B in Sydney? And really don't need a defect for 4k worth of safety improving brakes haha a note Remove the fluid cap on the master cyl while installing pads( use care not to get crap in it while off ) or you risk pushing rust into the bore where rust didn't exist resulting in a failure of the cylinder bore from scratches , or blowing the internal seal between the pedal and piston This is by pushing new pads into calliper , not a issue if you change it often but watch the seals still as described above brake fluid eats paint promptly so use care it will overflow easy , water , lots of it to clean off pronto , do not wipe it , that makes the problem worse , once clean you can wipe, brake cleaner eats some rubber and paint too so use care Recheck the lug bolts after a few km , alloy nuts fall off after heated and cooled a few times if they didn't get tightned enough I use the gold non seize grease on bolts and never issue ,a tiny drop is enough Your caliper slides should have a drop too , just a tiny amount then wipe it down leaving a film only
  16. That's a rudder lol Or road kill slicer After being around the Formula cars for years you get some crazy ground effect ideas My rx ran rubber from rhe body kit right to a few mm of the ground and damn that would suck down on the road and grip at high speeds Shame the man would crucify you for it here it looked mad , damn laws haha
  17. Somebody trace one and measure one I have the carbon and Kevlar already if you want a test one made shoot me the info and who can test fit one ?
  18. Mine was in for 11 years in a snow zone and water was never issue , at speed the heat is so great and air flow speed so high into the inlet it vaporises even in down pours and mine didn't run any mesh either even parked the angle didn't allow much in Terry think your way is a tiny bit easier haha You can buy vents to drop in with carbon lip showing ( mostly r35 style) but look on USA sites
  19. The more I do the cheaper it gets of course And no it's not a biz just a hobby
  20. Flap around lol I can display the strength of two layers of carbon and a ball peen hammer attack It doesn't mark it or crack or at all , it doesn't flex even with my fat ass standing on it With Kevlar it's even stronger and abrasive crack resistant ( the Kevlar is black weave) Also have blue and black carbon Kevlar weave Trace one out and take some close ups of it Prob cost about 150-200 for 4 depending on the size and finish , gloss or dry , can embed a washer around bolt holes so it can't pull out as well
  21. Oh no Mate you could have killed off half the car !! the car is neg ground not positive so anything with a relay or fuse , fuse link or diode ( alternator) could be smoked your going to have to go thru one thing at a time and check the lights too Your damn lucky if the ecu doesn't have a fried trace or two it would be a miracle of Christmas Best of luck
  22. 34 hands Down 33 nice for the price still but 34 is more refined and a panty dropper haha
  23. Someone trace one and send it to me I'll make some out of carbon for ya cheap as chips Diffuser for gtt in carbon as well but depends on muffler setup for cutouts Gtr diffuser as well if I can get a gtr test fit up car ? Would be a fraction of the cost could be Kevlar and carbon so it won't break so easy and won't scuff
  24. The duct is NACA duct http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/NACA_duct#mw-mf-search I made one out of my factory steel bonnet on my old rx7 , simple to do Make a template out of Mylar sticker film on a4 sheet print out make a few copies and confirm same dimensions Cut one out very carefully Stick on bonnet in location desired Check 4 times for location Trace arc on bonnet with exacto knife you need to cut all the way thru top layer of paint!! Except the front line on nose of the car ( if your quesy don't use knife yet use marker) try and fit between braces if possible Check 4 times for aligned and underside issues tape the arc edge just as close as you can to cut line a little water colour paint rubbed on a soft rag if you can't see the cut line Once the tape is perfect , tape clean rags or towels around the bonnet and vent area the dust will fly everywhere and it's abrasive A old blanket on the engine bay that is slightly damp to stop fires from sparks and abrasive cut off wheel dust get Dremmel or similar with fibreglass cut off wheels ( a multitool would work too - vibrating deal but you better be accurate with it!) Your going to cut all the lines except the front nose line !! cut with Dremel slowly using extreme care Once cut it should flap loose but be attached on the nose part , carefully untape the flap get a hair dryer or low heat gun Warm the paint to about 45c on the flap carefully and slowly bend the flap down into engine bay with fingers about 30mm ( could be sharp edges) Now open the bonnet and warm the flap again It should be kinda a shallow right angle not folded now bend it with fingers from the bottom of the arc back towards the bonnet in back The arc should now look like the NACA duct only no sides trace the contour on some carbon fiber or glass 1 layer thick it should overhang by 5mm or so on each side now take the bonnet off flip over on something soft where you can work on it with epoxy stink the two side strips will be epoxy built up a layer or two more once taped on in shape ( take into account drips etc and they can't be removed on paintwork !! ) once dry the tape can come off the edge needs pie cut for curves and then tiger seal bonded on with care , dry a day now cover underside with another layer of carbon or glass to hide merge of steel and carbon Trim back of duct opening in your fav mesh to stop muppets dropping crap in your engine the top should be damn near perfect paint wise , just a little touch up on edges and a buff out to shine back up and blend in the touch up done Looks perfect !! works awesome Had mine 11yrs and it never broke loose or cracked the paint wish I had documented it in photos dooh!! So the finished product is steel bottom carbon or glass sides , glass sides will need black or your fav paint I should make some out of carbon that just need cutout and bond lol Blue painters tape Dremel Cut off wheels a few Marker Old blanket Towels ( they can be washed and used again lol just don't let the wife catch you haha) carbon weave of choice or glass Paint of needed or black matte mesh exacto knife or luffa knife a good one you can push on without it falling to bits epoxy Tiger seal Something to set bonnet on A friend to help pull it off !! a bucket load of faith and time don't rush !! it's simple but must use care and measure 4 times and step back and look at it before cutting If you cut braces you could be defected !! When yanking tape off pull towards cut not away or it could rip paint off !! if you need help with arc let me know Mine was 30mm wide in front , about 150mm open wide About 30mm tall opening A flexible arc tool helps ( from drafting store or stationary shop) draw one side then fold paper to match exact arc on other side
  25. Yes that's the one Found its ford like but even more dodge intrepid http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c1/98-04_Dodge_Intrepid.jpg
