bet you had some grease on your fingers when you installed them ????. pull the pads off , give them a (pads) quick file off and feather the corners to stop chatter and squeal , and spray on some brake cleaner while your there. light sand in a random fashion , reinstall , should reseat within a few blocks. remember you brakes will be low for the first go...lol pm me if you want a more detailed version..lol

now that you told the world what to expect in your car !!!! , the crims can plan the disable of your GPS ...geez when will people learn do not discuss what is in your car , alarms wise on forums !!!! not too wise yes even gps can be foiled in a big hurry if you know its in the car. feel like I live in Mexico with the amount of car theft in Adelaide, gotta be first at something ,, must be car theft hey ??? sad to hear,, will keep an eye out
-
very true but without an alarm kiss it good bye and be ready to find it burned out by some punk who wanted a joy ride in your pride and joy. a multi layered alarm/security is best. and must be used 100% of the time, even in your garage !!!!
-
FYI . there is a new extremely cheap way of tracking your car from anywhere in the world, using 3G tech and a old hidden phone, real time tracking and a few other items as well.

inner doors, outer doors, bonnet with proper kind of deadener inner guards behind the rear seats, under the seats, roof some plastic dash parts, door panels bumpers, skirts, frame rails rear valance, tail lights bonnet lid, spoiler insides behind the boot panels , between the front cabin and boot panels remove the panels bolted on the rear seat area, deaden inside and out. undercoat the floor and inner guards as well from the outside think that about covers it. not responsible for someone using the wrong type deadener in the wrong location. based upon what I just wrote.lol some can damage the outer skins and others can burn easy, others make a huge mess what to use where is a trade secret of sorts ..lol

Do I Have A Built In Turbo Timer In My Alarm?
Carbon 34 replied to SL33K's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
+1 JRM mine has it as well, but guess what not hooked up.!!!!. why bother if you can't let you car idle with your butt in it for a min while you get your crap ready , and drive it slower/lower rpm for a few min before hand. easy solution ? this is true for any car not just turbo's or if could vapour lock and not restart what is vapour lock you ask my friends volvo non turbo fuel injected 244 used to do it at rush hour when we got stuck behind the train tracks.. sux ass turbo cars had the bad rap when the oil would burn in the bearing races after being flogged and shut off without proper cooldown. a problem from the 80's first turbo cars. with lame oils , not as common these days with synthetic oils and less emissions crap hanging off engines. -

a Skyline without an alarm ?????? sucks to hear..... but really it is one of the targeted cars ??? hope it was insured ??? this town is full of savages I swear..lol wish police would lock em up for a long time, not defect cars all night long. cause it's easier then catching real crims.

New mechanic helper, anyone !!! not just for looking nice holding a flag or passing out stickers..lol

agree with Pete you port, polish,cc heads for many reasons besides max KW, like removing any spots that could become "hot spots of carbon build up" to remove a possible weak spot in the casting due to harmonics of the engine hitting resononce from excess casting runners not to smooth out the intake to a polished level, fluid dynamics is better with the little sand marks in it still. minus burrs of course. on the exhaust it's another story, smooth is best to keep the air from tumbling, creating turbulence plus to remove any cast flaws on the outside for the above reasons, and to make them look nicer when installed. with care you can do a pretty damn good job at home of MOST of it , without changing the shape of the runners and thin spotting the head coolant jacket area. clean up coolant paths as well, and of course oil control check for cracks around the valve seats in the port runners near the valve seats really if you know anyone in town who has a fluid /grit porting machine like squeezing gritty toothepaste thru the ports , can't remember the name of them,,, lol those work a treat if this gives you an idea of the cost,, in USD for RB26.... DIY can look pretty damn good if you have any clue how to do it.. which I'm sure a lot of us old farts know..lol NISSAN RB26 HEADWORK disassemble/ clean/ inspection port & polish multi-angle valve job deshroud valve area in chamber polish chambers surface deck assembly * cam lash is an additional 250.00 labor * ** bronze guides add 382.00 parts & labor ** 1500.00

so abe do i get to take the valve covers to use for carbon fibre molds? you can have them back unscathed , timing covers too???? intake plenum ??? let me know if you want help porting and polishing the head, gasket matching the ports ? done a few in my day..lol crack test with tracer dye... the head before doing anything to it and gates belts rock, they used to make them down the road from me in USA, gates batteries(optima as well)

I wouldn't put those on my car, fact is when i replace the hoses they go in the junk box
-
check the voltage output to the antenna? 12v ? clock can fail, old nissan clocks did all the time ? got a photo of it to see ? antenna ,does it even make motor noise when the radio comes on? if so it's got a broken plastic winder thing inside and most can be fixed some aftermarket/oem ones use a relay to boost current to put the antenna up? have you investigated that?
-
hey doesnt Dion live there,,explains everything ...lol kidding too many crims in this town, and cops are too busy with crooks.......... OOPS I mean defects to catch them
-
body lift on the truckfails, the bumper is attached to the frame, makes a huge gap in front..lol' and that car is gay, for too many reasons
