  1. low voltage on the line for the power antenna or bad ground on antenna and or radio. clock dim ??? lcd or fluro type clock lights? I would guess low voltage on that circuit, if the fuse was blown it wouldnt work at all clock LED only needs a few volts, power antenna needs 12v
  2. random morning photos to liven things up from a car show in canada
  3. the even funnier thing dion, is how did you find it???? you moving into a jdm supercar purchase..lol that is some funny stuff, notice the questions about the item too..hahaha
  4. OMG, huge project..lol you can do it aftermarket way cheaper and easier. where are you putting the motorized screen on a 280??? the dash has gauges on top??? if your after a r34 dash look in the sa for sale luke enr34 has a bunch of stuff for sale off his r34. better off making one out of fiberglass then hacking oem to fit
  5. Hey Chris I did too,, ripped it all out and upgraded it to Digital TV..lol but chris is right, there is a lot easier way to get the screen working lol
  6. no still have it all in the shed..lol
  7. Did anyone watch these guys on foxtel the other night ? these guys sponsor a few of them Sumo power racing
  8. I can take photos of my old harness later today, do you have all the gear for the back of the car, Computer,TV antennas/splitters, screen etc my car had the whole lot checked on the options for equipment from OEM for SATNAV/TV/DVD/CD/MD/6disk stacker. more then likely your wiring harness is under the screen area of the dash, taped into the harness, common for most jap cars to put the same harness in so it's plug and play for upgraded OEM stereo's
  9. under the black cover between the battery and strut tower contains most relays (not all) in GTT/GT models GTR will be different.......the complete wire guide is in the manual R34 Service manual
  10. yes but the car shown was a R34 GT... the fuse at the battery is to protect the car, not the amps. when you get into a accident and the wire shorts to ground the current is huge thru a cable and will take a few seconds to start a carbbq without a fuse at the battery. make the fuse at the battery pop before the amps fuse will, .....the ease in reseting a curcuit breaker or fuse is better in the engine bay or battery tray area is easier then a fiddly amp mounted in out of the way locations. so if they amp fuses are 60amps run a 50amp fuse or breaker up front. unless you have high current competition amps in a spl war, then run same size fuse, breaker ((((unless the amps don't have any fuses in the case,)))))(some really high power amps dont run fuses at all but they're pushing 10,000 watts or more) not something you would find in a skyline due to space and charging requirements. a reset breaker is a bonus, if your blowing gold plated ANL fuses over and over it can get expensive fast(the metal can sag after being heated from current and do weaken over time). two breakers in parallel can add up the current load, I run 2 x 120 amp models on mine. in that fashion. for a total of 240amp load before popping them. and 240amps can do some serious welding in a hurry..lol blow a hole right thru steel plate
  11. forgot that one,, are they any better then the old ones ? I have a few in a box, DEAD ..lol common as mud in USA. best reason for a Iphone is it runs my car alarm ....the module is being certified for use here now..lol of course the car start feature is disable for ADR rules.. grrrrrr Viper ad
  12. went thru 3 myself at work, 100% failure rate over a year... screen looses calibration all the time, and lockup when you go into and out of 3G Imate =failure Nokia , I dumped those as well , used to be decent now they suck Sony, 3 failures from 3 top line models in less then 6 months, Optus then gave me a Iphone 3G Second generation, thought I would hate it , but so far so good. only a few bitches since OS4 on it. if it wasn't free I wouldnt buy one
  13. Yes, Factory MD/DVD/TV/SATNAV/CD player and 6 disk changer in the boot on mine from Japan, first owner since imported then you have the 3 gauge option or no option , just blocked off , pretty sure that is just on GT N/A versions or the MFD from GTR with joystick on housing , my TV joystick was on the DVD TV interface control unit had a cool screen saver with the sun reflecting off the chrome 3D words Nissan..lol it also had multiple GPS trip meter info and some other goodies built into the TV kinda looks a lot different now.with it all gone ,lol
  14. are you running that sub free air? no box behind it?
  15. your fuse goes on the battery side in the engine bay not near the amp. or car fire waiting to happen
  16. put lucas tranny oil in it. fixes up and smooths out the steering in 30 seconds, runs cooler too full lock is harmful to pumps if left too long new belt and clean the pulley off with wax and grease remover
  17. only if you have the 3 gauge cluster in the middle, mine came with factory tv/sat nav screen in that spot the red one looks nice but wont pass regency inspection, bonnet, turbo timer and ???? and watch out for anyone named krish...or secret name double choc...lol

  21. really dark gray r34 gtt with some interesting wheels style, no wing on beach rd in front of reptile shop
  22. 100% Redline is in use in my car , shockproof is for diff, it's too slippery for synchos to mesh(hence you will trash the synchro's). you have to use MTL or the proper weight oil in tranny ...!!! and it's the only oil approved for F18 engines if your into trivia I could recommend it over crap mineral oil, try and pour the two side by side in cold weather,or check the temp drop in all applications when you use Redline...
  23. We need a Garage party......lol talk cars, loud music, lots of booze, BBQ. nobody drive home, they just pass out where ever they fall......lol how come we can't get a parking lot show and shine, mini cruise to happen on nice days ? meet up for some photos etc. must be time for a MOB sound off too...anything to liven the place up .
