  6. use wax and grease remover, soak it on a rag they come right off , then rewax the car heat gun can bubbles your paint off
  7. fun cars but hope enjoy broken balancer shafts.. it destroys the block when they go...lol mine did it at about 2000 rpm , leaving the driveway in normal fashion on a stock motor. not thrashed one either. good engine without shafts if you dont mind the extra vibrations, I didnt put any back in my second motor from japan..
  8. I need some too, tired of my head on the roof and seat not back far enough...lol great car if your under 6ft had to get a sunroof model didnt I... bad idea..lol plus Im tired of playing the ADR rules game on seats and rails, can you ? or cant you ? get after market seats and use non factory rails, the GTT seats blow and GTR ones cost a arm and leg Ive been to every shop in town and get 4 answers, heard a engineer guy in lonsdale can certify the mods, for a cost...$$$ like everything posted in the seats part of this forum and got no answers as well, so might ask locals..lol
  9. yeah pretty sure my car has one, I can take a photo of it and post it up if anyone needs one
  10. R34 coupe has enough room if you do some metal cutting of the main body shell, which is defect in adelaide and most likely with ADR , everwhere ? the volume is roughly enough for a sealed box sub depending on how crazy you go on remolding your rear panels , you could hide 8" or 6.5" and use factory panels with some retrim for the sound to get out. ps. Hint if you own a R34 the steel panels behind the rear seat and in the rear sides are crazy heavy ...lol the same thickensss Carbon fibre laminates save a ton of weight and are 5 times stronger then steel without the rear one your rear end chassis flex will be noticed, I tested it in a very basic way..lol
  11. Horns cost a fortune for "image Dynamics" or similar, and take a proper designed system to make them sound good, plus a lot more space to mount there not store brand horns,,,, there very custom hand made ones and yes designed properly up too the point I could , using the space and car audio speakers instead of Pro Audio sound gear for concerts...lol once the system is tuned I can post the RTA curve if anyone wants or ?
  12. Can I start my Dear Santa request list now!! this would rank pretty high up on it.All the Victory Secret models are pretty high on it too..lol
  13. just saw the funniest real emblem in a while... a old school toyota corona parked in front of autobarn, complete with 4 chrome mud flaps/fender flairs, rear window louvers, front window overshade,, dead poodle sheep skin seat covers. only the drivers window tinted with a plastic film crap. in perfect nick . the top of the line model I guess..for the over 100yr old crowd the chrome emblem on the side of it said 2.0 below that it said Extra performance had a chuckle it even had factory alloy wheels ,, ugly as sin but still, alloy's my though t was offer him 100 bucks for it and drift it just like it sits...lol
  14. Wine r33 not far from beach rd white r32 4dr, beach rd again dark blue/maybe black 4dr r32 in christies beach on beach rd
  15. Car Woofer Porn not work safe due to language !!!!
  16. wine r33 in round about off beach rd white r32 4dr beach rd workplace black r32 baking out in the sun now for a week by me,,,, poor car is going to be stuffed
  17. R34 GTR - dependable if done right , will increase or stabilize in value over time more then likely. EVO - Broken Balancer shafts, gearbox, clutch failures sucks fuel bad for 2.0 STI - Broken rear mounts for sway bars, tranny failures, clutches, sounds funny..lol Commo HSV, too common , to big Ford same Lexus IS200, with 2J power, for classy ride Supra RZ TT Lotus Exige anyone ???? no space.. but a hoot to drive R32 VW is decent Honda S2000 with supercharger kit on it. wide body kit Honda Type R Acura Type R FD RX7 TT MR2 done up with widebody kit, etc. 993 DB9 more to choose from interstate after the bank crash the prices fell fast on some decent rides.. just keep the GTR..lol
  18. I can safely say your question is answered, its not a speaker plug. and more then likely a seatbelt buzzer or light. push under carpet and forget you saw it..lol cause we all wear seatbelts,,, dont we ???? and samon, I dont know who is on the other end of forums questions , a pro, complete muppet or someone in between ,,, so to be safe and Professional .... I CAUTION people about what can go wrong before they go probing or wiring things... then blame me for a meltdown because they should have know not to use a paper clip that burns there hand as it glows red hot.... when it gets 12volts and a 30+amps pulled thru it. and when they drop it it burns a hole in the seat, or carpet, or the car just burns to the ground while they watch ????? I have seen a paper clip used before to BYPASS A BLOWN FUSE,, they do melt just like a fusable link would when they have a dead short to ground and car battery amperage or worse a shorted alternator which is pushing A/C current thru a dead short (backyard fix job by a muppet with a mullet) also witness someone use it to extend a spark plug wire to see if it sparked on the engine block to the plug in question ..... they kinda got a big shock... 60,000 volts worth as the hi powered racing coil... zapped them from the shorted, innocent paper clip ????? instant stun gun!!!
  19. well sounds like I was right,,, if its a pretensioner in the reel , either way I would test it right!!!!!! never probe with a paperclip,,,, what a tool, lucky it wasnt a airbag... kaboom $$$$$$$$$
  20. Italian CAR'BQ
  21. DAN - "THE TAX MAN " Speaking of that,, no tax bibles at car show policy is in effect...lol DAN "TAXI "
  22. The ability to solder Surface Mount Devices(SMD) is way beyond most of the people in these forums, and static or overheating soldering might fry something else I have a ISO certificate for electronic repairs and its not as easy to do it right as it might seem ? if you want them to work when done...lol plus you can waste a lot of time and money on parts you dont need to replace on a board... do you expect forum users to have access to oscilloscopes etc ? once again, dont attempt something unless your certain of your skill levels , a lot of car interfaces control more then just the radio these days...!!!! dont cry to me when you fry your cars computer with a 1 dollar simple power tester... the guy at cheap as chips sold you...and said it would work...lol
  23. hard to see the photo, but no, its more then likely a airbag wire(normally covered in a red or yellow jacket), seat belt pre-tensioner firing wire, or a seat belt warning buzzer/light wire do not ground the wire out , or use a test light on it. Digital Mutimeter only, it could be bad !!!! Not sure what car you have but that would narrow it down , R33, 34 ?
  24. I personally hate those wheels, 80's corvette rip offs...BBS finned wanna be's from le'mans cars of the 80's dump them Cara , lots of people want them , cause they get crappy looking easy, clear comes off plus for a race car ,, they wont work anyhow...lol
  25. actually doesnt look pure crap,,,, depends on the price I guess. but most of the stuff these days is made in a half dozen factories in china, asia and remarked with logos in the very end.. unless it is made in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, USA with country stamps on it. but really for the cost of some of the stuff it can be ok.... not everyone has 10k for a pair of tweeters made in Denmark...lol the name is still a direct rip off ,,,isnt it...lol
