  1. Window tint , save your seats too screw them down right dont forget most speakers are made in china these days,,, the plastic doesnt like our heat at all. and a 44c day outside = 80-90c at least in a closed up car , my tin shed hit 95c on a 33c day when the door was closed yesterday, broke the meter on the heat gauge .. and it has a tree protecting it some,,, not glass windows to make it worse. I always wipe the speakers with plastic cones with proper dash treatment with UV built(not Armour all crap or kitten) in before I place grills on them,,, saves them for a few extra years anyway ?
  2. a VIRUS from Looking at to much car porn on SAU...lol
  3. Rotary engines rock,,, rev like hell , sound isnt as smooth but still goes like hell get used to them you might have one someday http://www.autoweb.com.au/cms/A_55754/titl...ewsarticle.html

  11. its easy mate, even a quality 8 or 10 will hit 130db or more with modest power and sound tight and punchy, clear the box size doesnt need to be much bigger then a big shoe box either. any custom stereo installer should be more then capable of a design to fit your needs. and regain all of your boot back, your shocks will thank you and so will your performance of your car over the dead weight of a big box. and spare tires ....sure beat walking ... or sitting by the road waiting for the roadside assistance guy to tell you your a putz for not having a spare in middle of whoop whoop(outback)!!!!...lol get a flat with a chick in the car, she will wait!!!!!.........for the next car that pulls up to leave ya on the roadside alone..lol
  12. he came from the shallow end of the gene pool,,,, what a moron DING DING !!!We have the winner for the biggest idiot in world and Damo are you that bored your surfing every forum ????
  13. I'm entering for sure, if ya get bored the beach is only two city blocks away..lol FERAL stickers for all...lol
  14. pictures are a bit bad but, the boot first remove both tailights completely, get rid of all the rust , at the very least use some of that rust rid stuff , looks black to stop it from getting worse, you wont see it behind the lights and trim anyhow ,,, or if funding is available, fix it right with paint, grind it out the seal is broken between the light housing and the rear area that holds the bulbs, white or grey bit o plastic depending on the year. dry them out first with a a hair dryer if you can ? (some older ones had drain lines in the bottom ,kinda a black tube to drain if water got in) your lights will need to come completely out of the body to fix them right. dont just silicone the while area it wont work the boot seal might be leaking as well, hard to see. you have a fair bit of rust beginning already ? the shifter, hmmmm hard to see what your talking about but if the top wont come off he prob has a nut back threaded into it. to lock the two threads together or some red loctitie on the threads maybe some clearer photos might help
  15. How cool is this, TV Mirrors for home or ? http://www.mbqent.com/ guess it would be good if your "Me Time" crap lasted long enough to watch a movie...lol multi tasking at its finest...not porn either ,, gutter minds or the chicks who cant get enough of themselves and DR Phil at the same time..lol

  17. photo 3 is very nice makes me wish for new wheels, my Impul NS GT2 wheels need colour updating
  18. they use in USA dealerships as well, its called "additional dealer profit" it does turn yellow or flake off wont last beyond 4-5 years even garaged I was selling it to unsuspecting customers when I worked for the a large car lot, dont recall who made it , but they also did a scotchguard type product for seats. at about 500% markup...lol there are a few that work pretty good, one in OZ called "Fireglaze"... sold by the car painting supply stores, pretty cheap too , worked as good if not better then Megs NXT, or Mothers Showglaze. not sold on how long it lasts?? but I have some test parts in the sun, rain, salt air to see one for USA , My stepdad used on his 100% Show car was "Liquid Glass" think its from Eastwood restorations company. you could hold a burning cig into it without hurting it. and it wasnt anymore then Zymoil in cost.
  19. My GTT has a big stainless steel bracket for the aftermarket muffler in the same spot. nothing else it wouldnt be a handbrake thats not even close to it. to test , with cool tailpipe, lay on the ground and wiggle the muffler, 90% sure its a broken off bracket on it. and it would squeak like a old truck on corners/take off. bumps etc. unless its something added by the aliens ????
  20. I find that hard to believe a motor or major removal to get to it,, japan doesnt design cars that need motors pulled for a simply clutch master change out. even a plenum shouldn't need removal to get to it. most only take half hour max to swap out ruby ?
  21. not to blow the thread but, I buy 100% real Carbon for cheaper then that stuff. kinda expensive if you ask me..lol
  22. Have to see when I can borrow his car for a few days ,, to mold it. lol been way to busy lately to do it maybe over chrissy ???

  24. if a kid jams crap into them or you drive on dirt roads with windows down , canned air might fix it... but doubt it. I've found the damnest things inside a cd player. had a small packet of kids face glitter come out of the last one , it jammed the spindle and was caked on the DVD Lazar lens.... cleaned up best I could and its still working.. lol damn glitter goes everywhere !!!!
  25. FYI,they come out better if you lay a smaller # GSM thickness carbon fibre cloth it wraps around the part without pulling on the weave so much(looks similar to other car dash trims make out of carbon, and if you dont have black plastic parts they wont come out the same at all. the background will show the original colour, and you may need "wax in styrene" if you want it to dry hard ? and they also make a few types (speeds of hardener depending on the heat and humidity) using the wrong stuff can melt the dash parts, distort them beyond repair, and worse case it can catch fire from the chemical reactions to harden ,plus if you buy the cheap stuff it stinks to like hell...lol or never dry if the weather is too cool out. to hot it can blister as well. Oh and they do make a at least 50 different types of cloths, weaves, thickness and there area a few tricks to do it right the first time and keep your sanity not to stop the DIY people .....but inform you it doesnt always go so smoothe , and basic cloth cost is 5 times fiberglass cost in general in RAW form.
