the tailshafts on my datto conversions where of different yokes and shafts , so doubt they are the same don't forget the little wire that tells the engine its ok to start cause the car is in park, its on the automatics , not stickshifts. most cases you can just plug the two ends together and wire tie it out of the way. if you dont the car wont turn over at all. neutral safety switch and the VSS sensor will prob be different on the auto car as well. lots to think about .... good luck mate

-
Thats the hardest part,, finding a kickass installer to do it right the first time...lol not zip ties your sensors to the brake pedals , and runs the wires to the cig lighter for power or piggybacks the fuses for power uses a light globe test light for computer controlled cars to test for power...hahaha mounts the siren in the front grill or next to the turbo to melt...oh the list goes on and on...

Questions Regarding Sound System I Have
Carbon 34 replied to shaunvlc's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
more then enough power , you can run 8 splits or a few subs too, depends on your OHM Loads and freq it happens at. but thats more then you asked in case you didnt know most amps are true ratings these days if there any good http://www.ce.org/Standards/3108.asp The amplifier power for mobile electronics logo indicates that a car amplifier has been tested to CEA-2006-A, Testing & Measurement Methods for Mobile Audio Amplifiers. The standard requires that the manufacturers report at least three ratings: primary power output in watts, total harmonic distortion plus noise and signal to noise ratio. -
Mine has a factory Alarm from Nissan in it...on top of a lot more security added by me..hahahahah made in 9/2000 ER34 series 2 not regulation for Australian insurance requirements you must add more too it to comply

buy a Porsche 911 then put the sub in front of you ,, bass in ya face. thru the air vents under the dash did a LAMBO and 512 Ferrari that way, 8" solobaric in fiberglass box using the floor space under your feet on the passenger side. nice tight bass but not lots of SPL to shake the ground with you dont have to remove a spare to have good Bass,,, Im so tired of preaching that..lol the skyline has more then enough room to be creative to get bass inside it without firing the sub into the boot which creates muddy boomy bass "in most cases " and rattles the hell out of them , Most Skylines have steel plates between the rear seat and boot anyhow but hidden between the rear seat and side panels is a big void. or more then enough room to port bass thru to the front , another choice , remove the rear speakers, port the bass thru the holes which will give you even more cabin gain as the wavelength of sound bounces off the shape of the glass backwindow = higher SPL or port thru the back seat similar to using a 4dr seat with armrest /ski tunnel passthru to the boot . which gives a purer SPL, tighter bass. a sealed, or bandpass box works a treat and can be sealed off from the boot area easy the GTT Sat Nav computer will need relocating but nothing else. some GTR and cars with rear strut braces may need some tweaking to work but still not a worry these are LEGAL ways, if your game to run the gauntlet of defects you can go crazy and cut the rear deck with ports and speakers. putting a speaker in the floor isnt legal if you cut it or place the driving compartment in jeopardy of crashing in anyway(boxes that consume the drivers feet or passenger safety in anyway.

I have as RB30 engine with over 475,000k on it, unopened except waterpump, timing belt, pulleys and rocker gasket and it runs smoother then my RB25DET aways used synth oil both once broken in. RB25DET is like a glass engine compared to a 2J its not miles that kill it its , overrev, lack of maint, too much boost. a NA car would last for a long long time run a turbo car lean, kaboom dont change the oil, kaboom, or turbo melt down but RB25 are cheap as chips these days so if the price is right go for it ???? plus we have so many sources for parts now, not a drama dont fark with RAA , get a compression test, and a body shop to look it over for big damages and shonky repairs. worn bushings are a big one for high K cars too...

dont overlook some of these videos http://www.secondskinaudio.com/installation-instructions.php Dynomat isnt the only company who does this Stinger is another good one my car doors are damn near sealed , my two sets of split speakers dont even fire into the door chamber they have separate chambers sealed with carbon fibre and fiber glass molds and custom horns for the tweeters molding into the door panel shell. the sound deadener is for the rattles and to keep the SPL inside the car (photos will be posted up on Audiocontrols website soon for all to see the build up)
