  1. Ok heres my engine after the rebuild and taahdaah it looks stock standard just the way i wanted it (dont wanna get hassled by the boys in blue). Makes 310awkw now which is good i was only hoping for 300. Only visible difference is the pod cover and the diversion plate (needed it to hide new 100mm fmic) . Sorry about clarity was taken with my iphone..
  2. Can i just ask if there are any shell servos on the way there or back? My car is tuned to V Power and i dont wanna run outta petrol. Either that or someone can tow me home ..
  3. Hey Bakes hopefully all gets sorted so you can get that magical 300+ mark. Ive just replaced my titanium exhaust with the Varex system and im happy with the outcome. I was quite surprised how much better it ran after installing a high flow cat. Though i miss the loud sound i had, the car still sounds great and when i push the remote its full on stealth mode (no cam burps)..
  4. Thanks for the invite. Will be a day to remember forever i bet..
  5. Peter in a BNR34 aka WRR10R will be there thanks..
  6. Hi guys my name is Peter and if Terry permits me i hope to see you all there. Cant wait to see all the bad a$$ rides together..
  7. In 98 NZ got rid of their tariff tax on imported cars i think only ones from Japan so all Jap imports became heaps cheaper. All NZ car makers closed down 20,000 jobs lost including mine (spraypainter @ Nissan ). I think there are more skylines in Oz but percentage wise you cant go past NZ. You see a skyline every minute literally..
  8. Just finished my rebuild last week. Got a nitto oil pump in mine. Cant say how strong it is as its still new ..
  9. Im getting a nitto oil pump installed right now. Suppose to be a great product at a descent price. So theres just another one to look at. Goodluck..
  10. I went from standard clutch to Nismo twin plate and it is the best (never driven any other twin plate so i cant compare). Stalled it at first go but once i got use it, i havent stalled it since. Is a little bit noisey but that doesnt matter too much. Only bad side is slow crawling traffic the clutch wants to launch the car and it gets pretty tiresome when your constantly trying to hold back something that wants to be unleashed..
  11. Never heard of it before until this week. Im getting a Nitto oil pump and Nitto rods put in my car right now for my rebuild. Fingers crossed on the outcome..
  12. Definately tow tray. Car sits pretty low and you need to have ramps to get it on the tray. Well mine did anyway the front diffusser is pretty low..
  13. Stock redline is 8k. I have nismo one now so it looks better. Rev light is set to 7700rpm. I always go to 8k cause when you change to next gear you always have that extra boost. Stock GTR was built for that very reason of going hard. Depending on mods you can always go past the 8k..
  14. I got 10mm spacers on the front. Its gives the slightess of bends but stops it touching the front bar.The rear one i just bent a little and it went in fine..
  15. Try http://www.jsai.com.au/ . He supplies, fits and paints it for you. Easy as if your in Sydney..
  16. Open the photo up with MS paint. Go to Image > Stretch/Skew. Then change the horizontal and vertical % in Stretch to 50 or whatever. Click OK. Go to File > Save As Jpeg then clcik Save..
  17. My clutch just started slipping last week. Im getting a nismo twin plate put in. Cant comment until ijob is done. I just hope i dont get any of your problems. Goodluck with that..
  18. Great choice of car for a wedding day . Only problem is with the bride wearing her dress it will be a tight fit in the bucket seats. I could do it but wait till it gets closer to the date because having a modded GTR its hard to guarantee everything will still be working on that date. Have a backup GTR as standby. Cant risk anything going wrong on that day. Goodluck bro..
  19. Best if you get it privately imported. Saves you money but there is a waiting game. For a R34 GTR its well worth it. Low ks i could only guess between $45k and $55k. Check out http://www.imports101.com.au they seem alright..
  20. Should have the sticker at the back or if you look under the car from the back it should have finned looking diff coolers. Theres probably more but thats all i know. I have a R34 Vpec and is worth the little bit more..
  21. Im not the only one drooling over her, ive noticed other people around her doing it too. Yeah car loves to go fast and hates sticking to the speed limit..
  22. After years of nagging my wife she finally said i could get my dream car. The next day i was at the car dealer putting in an order for a R34 GTR. Week later a VSPEC was found and was on its way over from Japan. Took 5 weeks to get here then another week to comply. Another week was spent adding minimum mods - titanium exhaust, ebc and filter kit. Also added a nismo kit and painted front lip (not diffuser). Lastly added 2 alarm system for peace of mind. All up 8 weeks to get into car (felt longer). Have always wanted one since I saw a brand new R33 GTR in 96. Have always known it was the best car even though i had never been in one. My first time was when I drove off the lot with MY OWN GODZILLA. Had high expectations for this car and it has more than exceeded them. The pure driving pleasure it gives is the best. My dream has come true and i hope yours does too..
