  1. k_d what evo where you in?
  2. Congrats man, that unreal time especially on street tyres! Did the pointers help you out at all?
  3. So, my EOI entry for WTAC has been accepted guess they need some back markers to liven things up haha Have some work to do in the next few months to bring it up to standard. Can anybody tell me what the lowest weight "manufacturer's original specifications" for a HR31 is? Im allowed to have upto 15% less than that. Got started on the weekend. As im going to be very under powered in open, my goals are; -make better use of what the car already has -make the car as reliable as I can -have as much fun as I can. Plans so far… I don’t really want to pump any motor power through the motor as isn’t a built motor and I don’t have the cash to build one between now and then, So ive ordered a few bits and pieces like 25% under driven balancer and lightweight flywheel with arp bolts to free up some power. will aslo be getting retuned as well I have a 9l gated sump to go in, heat shields, new wastegate diaphragm and lines, new turbo beanie as the last one is falling apart. Spare exhaust manifold (old has cracked again) Im redoing the exhaust (this time side dump and screamer) to clear up the back end for the diffuser and save a bit more weight. getting ready to pull the motor. also sort of how the exhaust will sit, basically just flipping it over cutting the end off and adding a bend to go out the side. The splitter and side skirts are going to be dropped down to around the 70mm height rule, just with sheet alloy. Wont look pretty but should help. The hydro is going too, as It makes bleeding a bitch. Front guards have been spaced out 30mm help stop wheel well turbulence, don’t know if it’ll work but looks cool and i'll be making some bracing for the engine bay/firewall here too. Was pleased to see little/no rust Bum cut out And Ive bought a spare set of axles of Tir31 just in case.
  4. Thanks man for the link. im a gimp and cant find the kit, would you be able to send me the link to the actual page please Looking very awesome sitting on the gound now too!
  5. Thanks mate, Ive been looking at your the last few days and taking a bit of inspiration mine is just a (very) budget build though. Its still in the motorsport build forum, i just haven’t done much lately
  6. entries closed last month for it. i'll be popping up to watch the NSW time attack, wanted to enter but it was either that or wtac.
  7. My entry for wtac was accepted, who want to come see me blow up my pos in october?
  8. I got my confirmation on sunday too. They must be low on entries
  9. I have, but no confirmation yet. Also wanting to get into open, but dont know if they'll want a dirty 31 in their event
  10. Also, how much to get the shafts rebuilt? think mine need to be done. And where did you get the camber/toe kit from?
  11. worried that they may not fill the flares?
  12. What brand and specs are the wheels matie?
  13. Ahh no worries, thanks matie
  14. cheers roy. yeah, still needs a fair amount of work but it'll get there.
  15. New number plates finally got here and i put the fog lights back in at the same time. Also, shiny new O2 sensor. The old one had a rattle.. Cold idle is new and improved.
  16. Small update time. Im going to the next Circuit Club day on the 25th, so I decided to check over the car in the weeks before rather then days as I usually forget things.. Started by adding more front camber, now sitting at -5deg. I need to do the toe as well. Ive ordered some new sparkies, as I haven’t changed them since 2011 when trying to work out a miss fire at a track day. They still look ok btw. And when I pulled the old ones out I realised I never gapped them, so they’ve been at 1.2mm rather .8mm. Should help in the upper rev range I think. Also checked the timing. It was set at 30ish degrees. I had played with it at the same track day (was a boostcut in the end) and never checked it when I got home. Now set to 15deg should also help with power Next thing is to piss off the hand brake as it makes bleeding hard, I always end up with air in the system. Mind you, it may also be because I had the rear bias locked off as I found out last outing. Im reaalllly excited to see how the brakes will be now I’ll be using all four wheels to slow down rather than just the fronts. No wonder Im always locking them up…
  17. What a cool project man! I look foward to seeing how you go with it Should get some r31 silo rims for it, would look good i think.. + they're 15's too.
