My right side view mirror keeps vibrating when im driving and also when i have my bass turned up. It's really very annoying. It's not the actual housing of the mirror, it's the mirror itself. The left one is fine so I know it's something specific to the right one. Is it possible to tighten this?? Sorry, forgot to add. It's a R34 GTT

hi all again, another question. i might be getting paranoid now but is it obvious if u've lost boost? When the gauge dies, and i put my foot down, i can still hear the turbo but a part of me feels like im losing some pick up. It honestly could be in my head. But if there was a problem with the turbo would it be noticeable?

hmm. damn that sux. sorry bout ur car man. don know about the blame game but i guess **** happens. at least no ones hurt

yeah, exact same. dies then 5 mins later, strungles and comes back. i'll get to fixing the pressure sender one day i guess. car still flies nicely so im still happy.thanks for all the help all. one last question is what exactly does the boost sender unit look like? i can't seem to locate it. i know i'ts near the brake booster, but still can't find it.

hi all, thanks all for the replys and help. Yesterday night i took it for a spin to give it another go. after 10 mins of nothing it just decided to wake up. At first the needle was jumping around a bit until it settled down and started measuring properly. Then this morning when I started, it was working fine, then it died again for about 10 mins, then it came back. Fine since. It seems that it wakes up when i start to hit the turbo. Usually i drive granny style to conserve fuel on the weekdays. like you guys said it could be the pressure sender unit. anything else it could be? also should mention ive only had the car for about 3 weeks, just imported.

ok after a crap load of poking around. i decided to take it for a drive just to test. first 10 mins, nothing. then all of a sudden it woke up. started reading pressure properly. The needle was a bit unsettled when i was waiting at the lights at first jumping around a bit but then after a while it calmed down and became normal. any idea what could have happened? i dont want to think that its ok when it cud be something majorly wrong with the turbo/engine.

ok i took some pictures of what im assuming to tbe the Brake Booster. where abouts should i be looking?

Hi all, I was driving home from work today and by R45 GT-T stock boost gauge just stopped working. It sits at -1. Car still works fine and I can hear the turbo at work. I'm totally new to all this so I'm freaking out a bit. Does anyone know where I should look to see if I can fix it? If not who would be able to fix it at a reasonable price?

Hi all, Was driving home from work today and all of a sudden my Turbo gauge on my GTT stopped working. I can still hear the turbo at work but the needle just sits there at -1. What on earth could that mean?

It's my understanding that POD filters affect your intake and make your turbo sound more impressive. Are they legal in Canberra? If so where would be the best place to get one and who would be the best to get it fitted?

Does anyone know what details I require for a 1 day Unregistered Vehicle Permit? The manual and export certificate I have is in Japanese so i'm a bit stuck if they require anythin more than Type of car and Chasis number.

Hi all, Sorry for that late reply, have had a flat out week. I called Paul White Automotive and they said since its a new import i'll need to get an identity check or something. So i've booked in a Roadworthy test for a New Import next week at Dickson. I looked into Toll Autologistics and it's actually called Autotrans Vehicle Transport - http://www.autotrans.com.au/ It looks pretty decent. Well I hope it is because I'll prob have to keep it there for one night as I only have one day free durring the week to get it. In regards to the permit, looking at the map Autotrans is right on the border. I don't know if it's worth getting a NSW permit just to get accross the one road to get into ACT. The car is totally stock except for the 17" Volk Racing Wheel rims and CD player. I'm totally new to this so i've attached some pics of it from when it was stil in Japan. Can anyone see anythin that it would get caught out on for the RW?
