But speaking of engineering being a dead market at the moment, had a mate of a mate that just started his graduate position at the start of this year with Aurecom but got kicked out last month of so. They took in 5 graduates, kept 2, relocated 1 interstate and showed 2 out the door. All because of budget and not winning any bids for projects i suppose, also heard that Aurecom got sued 2mill for something hence the budget.... A few Hr thinks that engineering should pick up in a year or two as it can only get better from now apparently.
