It's an '95 R33 series 1 He wants a drift car out of it and has to rebuild it cos piston rings are gone My question is what would you suggest he does whilst the engine is apart? He's a mechanic and all the work will be done at home... He wants to spend about $2-3K The front mount has been installed but that's about it at this stage, pretty stock... Thanks heaps

Expressions of interest only at this stage Rare, head turning VL 1986 very straight. Stock RB30, engine rebuilt on 2000km ago only ever used 98 octane fuel and recently been serviced. Mechanically A1 hasn't missed a beat. Auto, beautiful smooth drive. Tinted windows, alloy radiator, soft gold on top, silver body on bottom Sound system includes head unit 2-6"x9" in custom rear parcel shelf, 2-6" door splits and 2 tweeters in dash, fully electric aerial. AC working perfectly, interior very tidy, driven by none smoker, black throughout. Security system- remote central locking, engine immobiliser. Needs a respray paints a bit tired, but looks amazing from a distance. Alloys on car are not included. Several Calais parts and full rb25det BT1 ex cop rolling shell with r33 manual gearbox on offer but not inclusive in asking price. Prices on request

So apparently I've been a good girl this year and Santa's buying me a new front bar and boot lid for my R33 series 2 GTS-T I'm looking for just the stock front bar, don't need the lights but will take them if they are in it. Paint or minor chips etc no worries I don't want a badly damaged or cracked one. Don't care about paint condition or how cut the bar is from the back because I will probably have the cut more out because of my front mount. As for the boot lid I'm not worried if it has the original spoiler or doesn't have one at all, mines got a spot of rust and cbf treating it cos the car will look shit driving it around with putty marks till it gets resprayed. No rust and no new spoiler holes, not worried about paint condition and don't need the hydraulics but again will take them if on it. Thanks guys Marni

Hi all, I need a new front bar, just the stock R33 S2 GTS-T Not worried about colour, I don't need driving lights or blinkers, not worried if the inside has been chopped up a bit, I've got a huge front mount that sits on a funny angle so it's going to have to be chopped up anyway to fit. It's always run a bit smokey when giving it a bit of a hit, but its black not blue or white. Someone was telling me about some kinda oil flush stuff to put through it, I've always run 98 octane but I'm thinking there must be a bit of carbon built up through the pipes. The turbo spools up fine, it never overheats has always run cool, doesn't use coolant really. If the piston rings are gone can that lead to any engine damage?

Hi all, Hope you can help. I have an R33 series 2 GTS-T that is chewing through oil, like over 5L in the last 2000km. I use Valvoline full syn, the cars always run rich but never used oil like this. There's no leaks under the car, the only oil I can find in the engine bay is around the rocker cover. The car unfortunately sat in my driveway for 3 years and didn't do much, so I'm guessing seals somewhere but just don't know where a good place to start looking would be. Had a few upgrades though, high flowed turbo, front mount, BOV, exhaust etc Thanks so much Marni
