  1. Trying to keep it original, at least the original airbox, I'd probably use a different carby if it had the same top. I have a 32/36 DGV weber sitting here I'd use if I didn't want it to stay original.
  2. After a complete carby with choke from a C210. I know this probably isn't the right forum but I thought I'd get the quickest reply here. I'm sure plenty of you guys have upgraded to twin SU's or hitachis or better and might have one laying around... Alternatively if someone has seen one at a wrecker in Sydney and could let me know that'll be great! Thanks, Mark 0411683237
  3. Nope they won't fit. Yes it's the same flange but they'll foul on the steering rack. You want a set like this that doesn't come down as far before turning rearwards: I have a set the same as the eBay set (to suit 240Z) sitting here if you want to swing by and see (PM me).
  4. Just bought some extractors for the mighty L24 and was hopefully after some pics/descriptions of what people did with the EGR system and where the inlet and exhaust manifolds bolt together. I was thinking maybe making an alloy plate and gasket gooping it to the bottom of the intake manifold??? Anyway as I said would appreciate some input. Thanks, Mark.

  8. These are the two images that were on carsales that won my heart. LOL. I'll take more soon. The interior is immaculate. Carpet looks brand new! Picked up an R30 distributor and coil for $50 today. Cheering! I'm after a drivers side rear bumper end too if anyone has one spare...
  9. And while I'm getting such quick replies, what is standard ignition timing, what intervals in degrees are the timing marks, and do I set it with the vac advance on the distributor attached or off? The lame questions will stop as soon as I get a service manual I promise!

And any other random tips/pointers you might have when it comes to these sexy old beasts. For example wha oil is best for them. Was thinking a 20W-50? Thanks.
  12. Goin to be using GTR 440cc injectors with my microtech in my VL build up. Just want to know what to set base pressure as so that I get best spray pattern? I'm guessing it's around 40psi? Thanks in advance
